‘Scenes from the desert’

These stories are based on memories from my childhood, growing up in a small town in the west of Ireland. As a narrative, most of them are, as I perceived things to be at the time. Others are imaginatively embellished to incorporate the emotions I was experiencing and only understand now, due to the distance of time, space and life changes.
