Identity of a Missing Woman's Severed Head Found in 2017 Now Known (Sally Ann Hines)  In March 2018, a litter abatement team from the Cameron Parish Sheriff's Department found a plastic bag off Highway 27 in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. They were cleaning up a marshy area when they made the startling discovery. Inside the abandoned receptacle was a person's severed head. A homicide investigation was immediately conducted.
