The Haunted Library Presents: Christmas Ghost Stories Part 5

Hey Scaredy Cats. Welcome back to the Haunted Library and our seven day countdown to Christmas. Each day we’ll be featuring a spooky ghost story that is perfect to listen to as the nights grow cold and dark. In fact, today marks the Winter Solstice, the day of the year with the fewest hours of daylight. That makes it the perfect reason to read scary stories (if you need a reason, that is!).  In an article in the Globe and Mail, Jessica Duffin Wolfe writes “perhaps nothing is more Christmasy than ghosts. They toast the home, condense memory and signal the pleasures and frustrations of guests and hosts. Plenty of carols remind us that Christmas is a festival of the night, and the dead too come home for the holidays.”
