Israelis in Australia sharing their stories about the War in Israel. Sharon Tal is an Israeli living in Melbourne. On the 7th of October she was on her way to Israel to visit friends and family. Being aware of the developing events in Israel and realising it may be too dangerous to continue with her trip, a last minute decision at Bangkok airport made her change the plans.
According to latest updates, more than 1450 People has been killed in Israel and over 5,500 people has been injured due to Israel Hamas War. Prof. Rafi Mann reports.

(English Interview) Keren Lewinsohn lives and works in Melbourne, but most of her family lived in Kibbutz Kfar Aza until the 7th of October. Currently they and all the survivors of the massacre are practically homeless.
Keren Lewinsohn was born in a beautiful and serene Kibbutz in the south of Israel, Kfar Aza. On the 7th of October 2023, Hamas stormed into the Kibbutz and turned it into hell on earth - slaughtering babies, children, men and women. By sheer miracle Keren’s immediate family survived that horror, but dozens of their friends were brutally murdered.

Yoram Glass was born in Kibbutz Hefziba in 1951. Yoram lost his father at a young age, and suffered from asthma during his childhood. In addition he was a gifted violinist and student. Consequently, Yoram didn’t have to serve in a combat unit. Nevertheless, Yoram volunteered to serve in the armoured corpses and became a tank commander. Yoram was killed in the Golan Heights on the second day of the Yom Kippur War, 7 October, 1973.
