In 2021, the second line of the Australian anthem was changed from 'for we are young and free' to 'for we are one and free' to reflect the 65,000 years of Australia's human history. SBS Assyrian carefully translated the lyrics into Assyrian to make them better understood by new Assyrian Australians.
