Hello, ladies and gents Roberts. Thanks kiddo, Savage.com. And today I've got a little podcast that little teaser podcast voice is not a full-length podcast. I'm not talking to a guest. I'm just talking out loud to y'all kind of million over some things in my mind, for my business and entrepreneurial standpoint. I get a lot of requests for more business content and I've been playing around with this idea so I figured I'd just throw it onto
a podcast as well. So this is all about giveaways, specifically, a giveaway that I'm going to do with the keto bricks that will be Be live as soon as you are listening to this podcast. So it is now in action. So, stay tuned, learn something about business, kind of see what we're doing with this and see if you can win a freaking tricked-out kayak. So yeah, here we go. Let's dive into the discussion. All right. So giveaways, a lot of companies do giveaways.
Most of the ones that you're Probably used to seeing on social media involves basically, you know, like in our brand like and some other brand tagging, three people sharing it on social. And I just I've never really been a fan of that. I think I've probably done it, you know, two or three times maybe. But I don't really do it very often, especially don't do it. If it's with a company that I'm not like, you know, gung-ho about I feel like it just like, I don't like doing things that
everybody does. I don't like doing things, everybody does when it comes to nutrition. I don't like doing everything. People do when it comes to training techniques. I'm a bit of my bit of a contrarian, I guess you could say, but when it comes to giveaways, I don't like doing things that dilute my brand that don't offer a ton of value to the customer. And I certainly don't like filling up people's Instagram feed with just a bunch of, you know, a bunch of junk.
Like, I don't like it. When people tagged me in a bunch of giveaways that I have no interest in. I don't like feeling like the whole tag everybody, you know, model is I feel like it's shall, I don't really like it, so I don't really do it. However, the, the notion of a giveaway can be pretty good, especially when it's very much
so on brand. So, I've been really racking my brain as of late to figure out how keto brick as a company can get involved with giveaways, but do so in a way that is not diluting towards the brand and is very much so on brand with what we stand for as a company and what we like to, you know, suggest As a lifestyle. So let's talk about this when it comes to the keto brick, as a brand, as a lifestyle. I think of hey, you know, it's 1,000, calories it shelf-stable.
It's got perfect. Ketogenic macros. I think of grabbing it and going and doing something Outdoors. I'm big into outdoors. I live in northwest Arkansas in the Ozark Mountains. So, I like grabbing the bricks and going hiking. Going fishing going camping, Goin, Huntin things of that nature. I also think about it from a performance standpoint, Like, hey look, I'm going to be training on to be fasting.
I need to hit these macros that try and get everything dialed in, and that's definitely where my mind's, that when I'm in a competition prep, but during the summer, and during the fall, when a lot of my time is spent Outdoors, you know, camping hiking and hunting. I'm using the bricks for that purpose and now with it being summer time and hot as all get out, I think of water. So you put all that together, you get keto bricks water. Doors.
You put water in Outdoors together and boom automatically think of kayaking. Like I love kayak and I used to own a kayak when I lived in Arkansas and then move to Washington. And then I had to sell it to afford the gas money to drive from Washington to Arkansas when I was freaking broke. But I miss my kayak because I loved how light it was. I would just throw it on the water. I could throw in the back of my truck you know launch it anywhere and I could just move
around the water and fish. We're in like areas of really shallow water, as I put on this. Together. My mind, I'm like, let's offer a freaking awesome giveaway. That is very much. So, on brand with this outdoor mentality, that's outdoor lifestyle, which all kind of bodes, well for what we're trying to accomplish with the keto brick, and let's give people a freaking awesome kayak. And there's a whole bunch of outdoor shops here. Local to me in Northwest Arkansas.
One of them is called pack route, packrat Outdoors. They have backpacks tents kayaks, traditional archery hiking boots. A rock-climbing, overlaying camping, all that cool stuff. It's one of my favorite stores. So I go in there and they've got all these, it's big log cabin, which is pretty cool. It's a massive log cabin and all across the the ceiling. They've got all these kayaks just mounted hanging from rock, climbing ropes, so pretty cool.
Little setup. If you ever notice Arkansas, definitely check out packrat Outdoors. But the head one kayak that was kind of like a multi-purpose kayak. It's it's pretty stable, you can stand up in it, which I certainly Not do in my old contacts. That's pretty cool. It's got an adjustable seat that you can have at higher, you know, lock point or more lower. But it is not a sit on top kayak. Personally, I'm not really a fan of sit-on-top kayaks. I like sit inside kayaks.
So that's what this is. It's got a whole bunch of places where you can mount depth finders, if your fishing rod holders, things of that nature. So I got to thank him. Why don't I do a giveaway for the keto broke? We can kind of test this out. It'd be like a Beta test to see if we like the outcome, if it makes sense. If it's a good value, add for people, if it's well received. And let's just basically give the winner of this giveaway.
A really nice kayak that can be used for fishing or just simply kayaking or whatever you really want to use it for. It's kind of like a multi-purpose kayak. So I picked out this kayak, the kayak itself is like $1200. Then we're going to, we're going to fix you up with a nice paddle
carbon fiber shaft panel. A paddle rather, it comes with a cool little ice chest that mounts on the back seat of the kayak, we're also going to get you a really nice you know life jacket based off of who wins and what their specs are from a waist, circumference chest, circumference kind of thing. But that's basically what the giveaway is. And I'm trying to think of ways to make it work with the brand and I believe what we're going to do is for every ten dollars
spent on key. Dobrik.com throughout the entirety of the giveaway that will enter you into a basic, an entry ticket. So for every ten dollars, you spend, you buy single key tobruk, the cost 12 bucks. You get one entry ticket, you buy, you know, $200 worth of Quito Brooks, you get 20 entry tickets. And then on Monday, we're going to do a random winner, taking all those entry tickets and whoever wins that.
As long as you're in the continental US, I'm going to get in contact with you and we are going to ship you this kayak paddle life. Jacket cooler, all the bells and whistles, all that good stuff. I feel like this is a good value, add for the people that buy the bricks. I feel like a good percentage of the audience, the customer base that buys the bricks are also into the outdoors. So I feel like it's very much so on brand and that regard, this is never. We've never done this before.
Never done a giveaway in which it's like, you know, you by x amount of product, you get x amount entry tickets. Then we do a random winner and boom, you get a really cool prize. That's much more. So, On brand that I think just finding random other companies and, you know, like us like them tag three people kind of deal, not to say anything against that for people that do that. I know a lot of people do that. That's just not who we are.
And what really we really want to do, I feel like this kayak give away as much more on brand. I don't want to overdo it with these giveaways. Maybe.
Do you know a few a year? But as long as they're on brand and honestly in season, like right now being summertime, I feel like kayak is very much so in season, but all that say, I'm super excited about it. So the details of it are as follows, this podcast is going live on Friday, it will be live as soon as you hear it. And the giveaway is going to run from Friday which is the 29th. I think, what is today?
Yeah, so the 29th and then at noon o'clock Central at 9:00, at noon Central Standard Time. So the giveaway starts Friday, the 29th of July at noon Central time and it runs until 11:59 p.m. midnight basically on Sunday the 31st of July. So any keto bricks ordered within that window of time will enter you in a chance to win this kayak. Every ten dollar spent on the website will grant you one free or one entry ticket not free because you're buying the
brakes. But one entry ticket to the kayak, we're going to figure out who the winner is via random drawing. Monday, the first of August and then we're going to get in contact with that winter figure out what their shipping details are and ship them this kayak and everything that goes with it again.
I feel like this is very much so on brand I feel like it's in line with what we're trying to do as a company and Foster that, you know, interest in love for the outdoors, for getting out for being nomadic for being able to just grab a keto brick and go do something cool. Also, we're going to send a month supply of Quito breaks to the winner as part of The the package deal as well. And I've gotten a ton of
feedback from people who love. Both the Macadamia Madness flavor, and the chocolate peanut butter cup flavor about the same. Like I said, a little Google form out the other day, and it's about half and half. People like them, both about the same about a half and half. I think the chocolate peanut butter cup. One out slightly. That's definitely a bad crowd favorite since we launched it, but it was really close. There's almost 50/50. So for this giveaway, what?
Going to do is we're going to as one of the product options that you can buy on the site. We're going to have a few 30 packs of bricks that are 15 chocolate, peanut butter cup and 15 Macadamia Menace. So if you are one of those people that like them about the same and want to stock up on both of them and get a bunch of entry tickets for this kayak, definitely jump on that. of each of those two flavors. But any of the flavors will enter you in a chance to win this kayak. So, hopefully, all that made sense. I think it's very much, so in line with what we're trying to do and accomplish and stand for
as a company. Like I want to make these giveaways, cool and exciting and on brand I don't ever want anything we do from a marketing standpoint to come across as you know, like a Sell out or cheap and cheesy or just a nuisance or an annoyance. I don't ever want that to be honest. That's why I don't ever do promotional ads or like
sponsored ads on the podcast. I feel like y'all jump on these podcasts to hear quality content and not be inundated with 15 or 20 minutes of ads, you know, throughout the podcast, pre-roll mid-roll after the podcast. So I don't want that. However, I have had a lot of people ask for like said more business discussion, more entrepreneurial type content.
So this is kind of where my mind's at Businessman from an entrepreneur standpoint thinking outside the box thinking of exciting ways to Market something and just create interest around something new. So we're going to blast this giveaway out on the podcast which is your what you're hearing.
