There are bad calls in every NFL game, but the officiating in 2024 has been exceptionally bad. This was highlighted in the Monday night game between the Bills and Jets.
There were 22 penalties that made this game unwatchable. Nobody tunes in to watch the refs, but it certainly seemed like they wanted to be the center of attention in this game.
The NFL has to do something about the roughing the passer call. It's getting to the point where defenders will only be allowed to bear hug the QB and never bring them to the ground. This is ruining the game and even the players themselves think it's wrong.
