Colin prays for daylight after hanging with the grimy vampires of Kathryn Bigelow's Near Dark (1987), which follows a farmhand named Caleb (Adrian Pasdar) who is seduced by a sexy Southern belle (Jenny Wright) into joining a group of fangless, hillbilly vampires who prowl the American Southwest.
