      [ Music ]

Happy belated Mother's Day. This is Sats and Sounds. And I do this show in between trolling people on Twitter. Just to let you know. We've got storms happening in North Georgia. So I'm also in between storms, which is a good thing. And we're going to get started with some freshly rendered bits from another group that I really need pronunciation guides. It's not even like this is that hard. It could be Ginder, it could be Ginder, it could be Jinder, it could be Jinder.

But I'm going to go with the Ben Ginder Group.

      I Won't Be Late

And this song is called "I Won't Be Late." [ Music ] Fly on homeward. Take me tonight to see the wind. So much time down the road. Happy tonight is just a dream. I won't be late. No, my pain will be late. Fly on homeward. Take me tonight to see the day. I'll just stand and watch it. It's been a while, I've been away. I could be lost or blown away. No, my sweet baby, I won't be late. [ Music ] I should have lied or gone away. No, my sweet baby, I won't be late. No, my sweet baby, I won't be late.

I love being able to find some good rock songs to start out a show. They're always energy inducing. Next up is a band name that I love.

      Behind The Wheel

Just because, Riverbottom Mud Junkies. Don't know what it means, but I like it. This is a freshly rendered bit, song just posted this past week. It's called Behind the Wheel. So I got dogs barking, packages being delivered, and I'm in the middle of the break.

      Sats and Sounds

This is going to hurt. Okay, let's see if the dogs will stay under control. This is a value for value music podcast. That means in order to participate, you need a modern podcast app. Go to modernpodcastapps.com or go to my website, satsandsounds.com, where I have links to a whole bunch of them, like Castamatic, Fontan, Podcast Guru, Podverse, CurioCaster, Podfriend, and TrueFans. And with these modern podcast apps, you can set up a wallet and stream Bitcoin micro payments while you listen.

Ninety-five percent of everything you stream or boost goes to the artist when you're listening to this show. And when you hear the song, the wallet changes to the artist's wallet. So when a new song starts, the wallet switches, so anything that you sing goes to the song that you're listening to. Now, I mentioned boost with these modern podcast apps. You can also do something called a boost.

That's where you hit the boost button and you send some extra sats for something maybe you particularly like. Or you can send what's called a boostagram. And that is a boost along with a little message. And we're going to get to some boosts right now. Thirteen hundred and twenty-one sats from Randy Black by a podcast guru. He says it was the traditional music industry attacking you for your work in V4V to break down their monopolistic control. V4V is the only way. Go podcasting.

I had a little problem with some bot attacks in the previous week where I had to finally learn how to use Cloudflare. So you get another thirteen hundred and twenty-one sats from Randy Black by a podcast guru during Hippie Raised a Cowgirl by Sarah Jade. He says another banger from Sarah Jade heard Hippies Raised a Cowgirl on Sats and Sounds. Then a hundred and one sats from the Sarah Jade via Fountain during Volcano by Two Weeks in Nashville. She says saxophone. Great vibe.

And then another hundred and one sats from Sarah Jade via Fountain. She says thanks for the great show. You rock. You know it's extremely cool to get boosts from the artists. And I think over the ninety-three episodes I've done so far, you know, received a fair amount, which is just kind of cool. It's like a direct connection, which is something I never expected, but very cool.

Thank you for that. Three hundred and thirty-three sats from Ripcord via Fountain during Hippie Raised a Cowgirl by Sarah Jade. It says DAS BOOST. A hundred and two sats from Ripcord as well via Fountain during Volcano by Two Weeks in Nashville. It says DIG IT. Two hundred and twenty-two sats from Beer via Podverse during Halenopsia by Dirt Moon with No Note. And another hundred and twenty sats from Beer via Podverse during Slight Curiosity by Circle the Earth with No Note.

Let's move along before I run out of music. Next up is, we got My Friend Jimmy and Manic Tendencies.

Told you, now the whole world makes a lot more sense. Go to podcastindex.org.

      Sats and Sounds

Hit up their big red donate button and send them a little something because they make all of this possible. Without the work that's been done around Podcast Index and extending RSS and all the different tags that you find in these modern podcast apps, none of this stuff would be possible. You got the artists that have reported that they've made tons more money doing it this way

than they've ever seen off of Spotify. Even some that have said, like in the months that they've been doing this, that they've received way more than they've received in years off Spotify. You can't do this using Spotify. You can't do this using Apple podcasts. You need a modern podcast app to do it. So go to podcastindex.org and hit them up. You can also go to my website, satsandsounds.com. Hit up my donate button. Buy yourself a shirt. Go hit the shop link and buy yourself a t-shirt. [music]

I'm along. You know why? Because I gotta go to the store. I'm running out of time today. I'm rambling on. So let's go. More freshly rendered bits. This is an unmastered premix as it's labeled. It's Kavinia and her song called "Obsessed."
