anything other than a consumer point of view? These people make decisions for the bulk of us without consulting any of us, sales and distributions of our futures. If this world were fair and right, they'd give up the car keys this very night. You music. Hello, everybody. It's SATs and sounds. Episode number 68 November 18, 2024 for the next couple of weeks. A
little busy around here. I got my wedding anniversary this Thursday, then we got Thanksgiving next week, and on the same day, that'll be my birthday, so all the more reason for everybody to give thanks. I I've got the the chat room, or troll room, as it's affectionately known, open troll room.io, there's a button at the bottom where you don't even have to log in. You can just join in. I've got a helipad open, so if anybody wants to boost live, it should make some noise here.
We'll see what happens. I don't know who's gonna boost at 2pm on a Monday, but we'll see how it goes. I usually have a few people in the live stream, so we'll see. Let's get started with the show. We're gonna start out with a band called circle the Earth
¶ Stuck in the Middle
and stuck in the middle. You've been worse to burn like fire makes me want to cry with you. I often lose myself. Makes me want to die eyes blowing. They are angry. He loves to put me down. The only thing that he won't do is make it work. Somehow I got feelings, but you don't know if elsewhere and I got feelings. I'm stuck in the middle, but for the middle and the other half feel straight. So I tell my body, it's okay, my feelings out the way.
Then I wake up on your pillow and my head's not in the game and I'm still wearing your teeth, but the comfort not The same I got feeling right? I for treats me. The middle between me and you, but I'm stuck in a Little Oh, hey, you
¶ Pay Attention
I played three tracks from this band last week. They dropped a few more, I think, on wave lake this past week. This is big, Awesome, and Pay Attention. I Oh. Three months me, what is This cup right now? Oh, listen right now. Oh, What we love? Sorry for the Windows chime.
¶ Drift Current - Dangerous Place To Be
I'm trying to do multiple things all at one time, and I'm failing at everything. This is drift, current, dangerous place to be off rubber factory records and now, there you go. There's a few. Helipad is hooked up. The sounds are coming through. Thanks, Chad f3 33 SATs, three times in a row. Booster. Drinking the COVID. Amen, Ninja we made it through that first block with minimal, minimal disruptions by my technical screw ups. This is a value for value, music podcast,
¶ Sats and Sounds
and that means you need a new podcast app. And that brings me to the sponsor this episode. It's podcast guru. This episode is sponsored by podcast guru. It's an easy to use value for value, podcast app that has native versions for both Android
and iOS. The app is from a small indie team dedicated to expanding podcasting 2.0 and v for V links are in the show notes and on my website, satsan sounds.com go download this app today and use the links that I provided so that that way they know that you heard about it here. And with the new podcast app, you can send boosts. You can stream payments while you listen. And the Pew sound that you heard for the first time on this show live was a live boost
from chat f3 33 SATs. You did it three times, two times. You couldn't hear it because I didn't have everything set up correctly. But now I do. So hopefully, hopefully things continue along a functioning path. Boost that I received last week while I was doing the show live were coming in. But of course, nobody could hear them, which was a complaint that was coming in over the troll room. Three 333 says from chat up via pod verse, he said, listening live. 1945 SATs from salty crayon.
I said, they're all in the troll room. And the troll room you can go to troll room.io pound, SATs and sounds is the room, and you can log in without, without having, without registering. And then 333 SATs from Sir libre, where he called me out and told me to put my big boy pants on. Oh, no way. That was a different one. That was what. Okay, he's asking me information. So I'll have to get back to that one that's really not for air. 333 SATs again, from chat F by A pod verse, 777
SATs from salty crayon. Crayon. He's the one that called me out. He said, Come on in. It's all about lit interaction with the audience. We got your pants ready. Lol, 333 SATs from Sir libre via podcast. Index said, Welcome to the troll room. 2000 SATs from herbivore band via fountain. They say, digging this 333 SATs from a joint via pod. Verse says, boosting and chilling. And I will continue the rest of that after the next block. So if you're listening on the stream, you.
Hello, hello to Belgium, Brazil and Ireland. It's weird being global. Back to some freshly rendered bits.
¶ Can' t Bring Me Down
We've got caramel jam. Can't bring me down. Can't bring me down. I see your face as they did last you can forget the love we have said you'd be there now all this past you never were just gone too fast. You showed me. Then was all the lies, a niggle, boost, a trophy side was just a fact. I see it now. I'm high out there. You can't bring me down. Give see my face and see me smile. Try to hurt me with your goodbye. You want me now, but I will pass
the chance you had. You burned it fast, the words you said to keep me tired, I'm not a thing, no golden price. I'm here to live and make it last. I'm How dare you me, whatever was my lesson done? But cannot Crash me down. So of course, I had to screw up going into the second block
¶ Summer, Don't Let Me Down
there, I had the wrong song chosen for the stream. If you're listening live, you would see the album art change I had summer don't let me down. Which is this song by public mess. I had this song chosen instead of can't bring me down, so I screwed that one up. This one, thank goodness has the one of the longest intros, like almost a full minute. So I can yammer on about my mistake, but I'll get out of the way now. This is public mess, summer. Don't let me down. I summer, don't let me down.
We have promises to keep in miles before we sleep in these dust peach can't live forever. We. Bae, you know, I hate me. The days I got away now sleep at the abyss and the days I tried To forget that they stopped calling me Like I'm already Dead all Over The public mess and summer don't let me down. Next up,
¶ Silver Lining
freshly rendered bits from Anders Branson. This is called silver lining. You I left without advice. Before the sun had chance to rise, I drove across the Golden Gate to escape my fate somewhere you just true, alive, cut by losses, I'll be fine. Change my number, change my name. Down here, where the shadows meet, there is a beast you can't defeat, a chamber full of attempted marriage. Mirrors and melodies.
Scratch your sister looks so simple from my distance, but only you can change how it all reflects All I'm out of summer. Cannot wear my way back. And now the stars are shining as you see the silver lighting rules. No one ever was the answer. No hints are given. The but if you died without regrets, you did something wrong, no more tears. All the years, made a bypass tomorrow, about The old, and then Your souls cannot only thing? I am really frying the old brain cells today.
¶ Sats and Sounds
Got too many windows open. Got things, too many things happening as well as trying to remember what I was gonna say, So where was I? Okay? I got the this week. On Thursday, I've got my 38th wedding anniversary. So the marriage advice I will give you, if you're married or thinking about getting married, is don't take anybody's advice. It's all different. Everybody's wrong. Figure it out for yourself. Good advice. Don't you think? Anyway, back to the boosts. We
got a live boost 333 SATs from Sir libre. He says it's going pretty smooth. We just now need to get more listeners and people in the room, control room, love it lit that was sent out by the split kit. And you can find that if you just go to stream dot sets and sounds.com it'll take you right there. I think. No, that's the wrong link. It's Satan sounds.com/stream that's takes you to the split kit. I can't remember any of this stuff. Boost, that came in last week. Again, I got 17 176 SATs from
chat F by A fountain. Freedom. Boost, he says, I had a great time listening live and chatting in the IRC with Sir libre on this Veterans Day episode 333. SATs, again from chat up via phone. Says, me listening, since I got distracted in the IRC chat, 333 SATs from chat up again via fountain. He says, I always enjoy new Nate Jonathan music. Bitcoin is pumping, but that won't stop me from boosting 500 SATs from anonymous via Ellen beats and 100 SATs from Nate Jonathan himself by a
fountain. He says, Thanks for playing my stuff. It's my pleasure. Always. I can't wait for the next time you come up with something new. I always try to fit it in. I just love the sound. So let's see. Go to podcast index.org. Hit up their big red donate button because they make all of this stuff possible with their magic wallet switching technology. And if you're using a modern podcast app, you'll see the album art change and the
wallet changes right along with it. There's also a chapter so you can skip around if you feel like or go back to a song if you want to hear it again, very easily. So let's move on now with the cactus Vella, and we're
¶ Evolution
going to sort of bring the vibe down a little bit. This is called evolution. You it must let anyone look. Look in my hands. World. It must be saved. Must Be when they tell you society, world, I've Got the world.
¶ River walks
And this is like a similar sounding tune to me. This is Cal vote and river walks. I've seen you up, I've seen you down. There's been some men that you have drowned, sure this whole town will forever know your name. When I was young, I'd take a walk to your front door
and we'd skip rocks funny. Years have passed, and I'll still do the same, although you keep your voice real low, you listen to the Viking toe and on your grounds gave birth to my home, river walks, Where cedar grows bare wonders and Raven crows and fires kept us warm in early spring. Seasons change. You fill with rain, the old you we won't see again, but I'm home soon, you know, I'll come to you. Hmm? Months on end of staying home, I learned strum my amperthone,
dreaming one day I would play these songs for you. Now here we sit with a drink in hand, screaming something about a simple man will be voiceless by the time the night is through, exploring every stream, it seems, I'll navigate your heart with ease. Currents pour much stronger than they see river walks, where cedar grows bare wonders and Raven crows and fires kept us forming Earth's rain.
Seasons change. It fill with rain. The old. You won't see again, but I'm home soon, you know, I'll come to you. River walks, where cedar crows, Bae wanders, and Raven crows and fires kept us warm in Earth's rain. Seasons change. You fill with rain, the old you we won't see again. But. I'm home soon, you know, I'll come to you. And I watched you leaving a silhouette of all the time that
¶ Free
we shared, and there's no reason for you to turn around and come back here. I guess I knew that you grew up to be the woman that you are without that you're leaving. I never thought the day would come so soon, but you gotta be free to walk down the path of uncertainty. You gotta be needed that you're gonna make it. Yeah, you gotta be free to take the chances that you Need to take. You gotta believe that you're gonna make Oh, I thought I saw you
smiling at me from a billboard sign. I guess I'm looking just a little too hard. And I thought I heard you singing to me from the Broadway stage and you were a queen. Man finally found a star. I can't deny that you're a dreamer. I want you to spread your wings and fly away forever, but when you said goodbye, I knew that you gotta be free to walk down the path of uncertainty. You gotta be leading that you're gonna make it shit. You gotta be free to
take the chances that you need to take. You gotta believe you that you're gonna make it. You still remember when I looked into your baby blue eyes, I remember thinking that you can be what you want to be. It's for all your health, Dad, I understand why you're so sad, but there's a
world out there for me. So I must be born my way, and you gotta be free to walk down the path of uncertainty you gotta be leading that you're gonna Make hope you're still the Oh, ending the show on a positive note, That's Brad gener and free. There were so many
¶ Sats and Sounds
songs to choose from this week, it was kind of tough to put this one together, but that is your show for this week. I will be back next Monday. It'll be my birthday week, Thanksgiving week. So don't forget, that's all the more reason to give thanks. And I know there was something else I was gonna say, and it's gone from my head, so you can thank my advanced stage for that. So until next Monday, later, you.
