How can a non musician discuss the future of music from

anything other than a consumer point of view? These people make decisions for the bulk of us without consulting any of us, sales and distributions of our futures. If this world were fair and right, they'd give up the car keys this very night, I
It's SATs and sounds episode 64 may turn that down a little bit episode 64 for October, 2120 24 I had to think about that, because this is a recording. I'm recording this early because I am not in the United States. I'm still in the land of Adam curry, visiting with family, and I'm still going through the list of tracks that I've had sitting on my hard
drive, looking and waiting for a place to be played. I haven't played these before, and I know some of these have been by other music shows, but that's okay, I haven't played him, so I'm gonna play him today.
¶ I Wanna Be Your Woman (feat. The Aquaducks)
So we're starting out now with Kara Frasier and this wonderful, soulful tune called I want to be your woman.
To the days when we were here, when I was just a girl, and you were the boy next door. Then you left this time to make some better yourself now they brought you back around, but don't put me on The shelf this time. All can be I wanna be a Don't You see your heart will I can't change your mind. Change your mind. Just remember what's on the line when you put that candle in town. You Better keep me up.
Man, be Oh. Oh, Kara Frazier, I want to be your woman. Next up is live faith and don't walk away.
¶ Don’t Walk Away
I crawl out of bed, but I'm still in my head. I don't want to think right now, but I'll drive down your street, right where we used to meet, and your passenger seat is without me now you oh yeah, maybe you and me, we are like the movies. We can't kiss and make up like we used to. I can't call it at night because you don't want to fight between me and you miss it when I cry and you say goodbye and slam The door in my face. You break mine. You break my
heart and you tear me apart, but I can't let myself walk away. I know we aren't good, and my friends say I should move on and try something new. Oh, when I hear your name, hear your name, oh, I can't concentrate. All I want is to be with you. When I cry and you say goodbye and slam the door in my face, you tear me apart, but I can't let myself walk away, baby, won't you Stay? Please don't walk away. I need you to
stay. To stay baby, won't you stay? Please, don't walk away. I need you to stay baby. Won't you stay? Oh, I need you to stay baby. You stay baby? Won't you say? You say,
I live faith. That's a nice song. You've got the

trusted. I've played a bunch of trusted songs, songs from the trusted over the last year, and for some reason, this one just never made it into my playlist. So here we are, the trusted with Arkansas,
but you won't catch me. We're in the cross. I don't believe in miracles, but and so by god it's hard to see with your eyes seals shut. It's been so rough since the good guys let you down and you were beautiful before the stuck behind tender walls. We could crawl to console. I heard, it's really beautiful, beautiful. I folded your arms. Pretending. Folded your arms and reached inside out liberty is lonely. I heard you into heard you flames. You were
beautiful. Before the walls we could crawl to Beautiful. Beautiful. We could crawl to Earth. Arkansas. I heard it's really beautiful, heard It's really beautiful. Heard it's really beautiful.
You know, why did that song not get played? I can't tell you why. I have no idea. Should have been should have been played. This is a value for value music podcast,
¶ Sats and Sounds
and in order to participate, you need a modern podcast app. And listening is not participating. Listening is just listening. You get a modern podcast app, and you can load up the wallet with some bitcoin, and then you not some bitcoin, you'll buy a fraction of a Bitcoin, because what Bitcoin, at least at the time of this recording, is like $60,000 something like that. So
you buy a fraction of a Bitcoin using these podcast apps. That means you could put like $10 US dollars, or something like that in there, and then as you're streaming payments, or as you're listening rather, you're streaming payments to the artists as you listen to them. And on this podcast, 95% of everything you stream or boost goes direct to the artist while
you're listening to them. So when I mention boost, you can send something that's called a boostogram, where you hit a button that says boost, and then you enter in extra SATs along with a message, I don't have any boosts or boostagrams to read today, because this is pre recorded, so I don't know what's come in. I can't tell the future. Hopefully, hopefully there are booths coming in while I'm gone up these modern podcast
apps. You can go to modernpodcastapps.com to check them out, download them to get the app of your choice, or you can go to my website, satsan sounds.com where I have links to several of the modern podcast apps, like fountain, podcast guru, true fans, curiocaster, pod friend, pod verse and cast O Matic. My favorite right now is pod verse. It's been for a while podcast. Podcast Guru is pretty it's pretty good as well. And
pod verse is going to come up with a new version. I understand that they are rewriting the code in order to be podcasting 2.0 native, which means you're going to have fun with all the cool tags while you're listening. Listening, for instance, while you're listening on a modern podcast app and the song changes, the album art changes along with the song. And you can
also look at transcript while the podcast is playing. So on a podcast like this, the transcript would just follow along with what I'm saying right now, sometimes it even catches the lyrics to the songs. But if you're listening to a different podcast which has no music and it's just the podcasters talking, it'll also have the transcript to those so you can follow along, or if there's something you don't understand.
And I think a lot of people who don't speak English who listen to these podcasts follow along with the transcript while people are talking, and it helps them learn English. That's what I've heard, at least. So moving back onto the tracks, we got Kiki
¶ Frozen Twin Rivers
aikio and frozen Twin Rivers. You
they seem like a married couple, the same age and the same kind of clothes. They walk like where they doubles, the same rage and the self centered pulse, and as they go by me. It gives me the shivers. They seem as cold as frozen spirit rivers. They walk by some distance between them, the woman first stand behind another man who talked to me heard a milk run. They about doing the worst they can as they go by me, it gives me the shivers. They seem as cold as all frozen Twin Rivers.
And is this you? And is this me? Some unknown are years for us to be too blind to see the weight of sung in tears, what went wrong, what could go wrong, what went wrong? Oh. Married, the same age and the same kind of clothes we pray like where we don't the same range in the way we make love and as we go, it gives me the shivers. We can be as cold as frozen Twin Rivers. We twin River, frozen twin River,
Kiki aikio, frozen Twin Rivers, another track I've been holding on for a bit. This one from Lumba called
¶ Homewrecker
homewrecker. He knew
he was a family man. He knew he had a ring on his head. He had a ring on his head, and you knew he was a lonely man. She had a child on the way, three tries when none survived. She cried almost every night you home. Record, I see you home. Record, I see air just the. Angry. I knew he was a brilliant man. He had his flaws in the bed. I was a forgiving woman. You knew I was a faithful wife. You turned him against his lover. You knew we were having problems your Home record.
How? Angry. I'm not judging I'm just crying. I gave this man my life. This man. You knew I was a stubborn woman, but you knew I was still recovering. My obligations took no precedence. I know I couldn't reach you, but you left me in my morning gown. You left me for another woman. You're good. I see you. You read me. You left me. I'm not judging record, I See ya, I see ya.
¶ Can I Get You
Hey, Baby, what's the name? What's your sign? Can I get your number? If you give me a time and see your face, it can't concentrate, because I'm thinking about all the crazy love I'm making. I got a premonition that baby will be kissing ya girl, make you see. And I got this intuition that there's something you've been missing, and I think it might be me. So, Bae, Bae, can I get you in my song? Yeah, we're playing No, not long enough, baby. I can I get you in this song from a
glance in your direction? Saw you giving me the eye, so I'm gonna give it right back, baby. And I think you might know why i i can even be sentimental if you just give me a chance, because I can make Bambi blush with my deep fried homegrown romance. Oh, Bae, Bae, can I get you with my song? Cause, you know we're playing all night long. And I said, Bae, said, Bae, Bae, can I get you can I get you in my Can I get you in my song? He said, Bae, Bae, can I get you with my song? We're playing all
night long. And I said, Baby, can I get you? Can I get you, baby, can I get say, cause you'll know

movie. It's just, you know, it's got that, that jumpiness and the kind of like hit, you know, hitting on you a guy hitting on a chick. Can I? Can you say chick? Now you could tell how old I am when I bring up, bring up, where chick and the fact that I have grandchildren that are in the Netherlands right now age, I recommend you just don't take part in it. Anyway, I'm
back on track. This is a podcasting 2.0 compatible podcast, podcast, and with the modern podcast app, you get all those cool features that you cannot get with Apple, with YouTube, Music or Spotify, and more and more podcast apps are adopting the podcasting 2.0 tags. Heck, even Apple, even Apple adopted the transcript tags, but they don't, they don't
do any of the rest, so they're not there yet. Go to podcast index.org and hit up their donate button to help them out, because they make all of this possible, keeping the index up there for independent podcasters to be able to disseminate their works to you. And they, you know, the technology that they come up with, such as the magic wallet switching technology that you're using when you're sending SATs using a modern podcast app. Also go to my website, satsan sounds.com you can hit my donate
button that'll take you to PayPal. And I have links to every single track you've heard today, as well as every other track that you hear on any other show. All the show notes have the tracks. So now let's see. We're gonna go into Wawa yanda
¶ Red Letter Days
patent, that's quite the unique name and red letter. Days, Golden
Sun and September. Skies, speechless. Treetops, warm and wide beauty, profound sight and soft and shine touches me and passes me by, but I can't hold on to those red letter days, though, their colors in my heart and my memory Blaze, so I embrace this moment each day I can choose To hang my head or sing a song of praise, loud and bitter needles of fire, screaming, breaks, smoking tires, crushing pain and burning desire touches me and passes me by, but I can't hold on to Those
four letter days of their colors in my heart and my memory Blaze. So I embrace this moment each day I can choose to hang my head or sing a song of praise. High but I can't hold on to those red letter days, though, their colors in My heart and my memory Blaze, so wide and raise this moment each day, I can choose to hang my head or sing a song of praise. To hang my head or sing a song of praise.
¶ Beauty
Theraminist difficulty to play, isn't it? This is Annie Powell and beauty.
Don't know what it's you turned inside out, everything changes and help us on the way. Keep your heart wide open, trust in the threads. Only ways up from here, there Is beauty, not broken. Strong struggles. Empty out. Don't try to understand all you've got us to gain. Kick through the rubble. Oh, look to the sky. If you change our view, it changes your life. There is beauty heart of yours. Of yours. Can you see David was there crumble and fall, giving
me weak. Beauty in the broken heart of your soul. Leave it be what's done is done. Find your vision, leave your prison of what ifs, regrets, all of the lessons you learn. Get out of bed. Rolling can Oh. Know the beauty, oh,
oh, I think Now that I'm listening to these final
¶ Moon Song
three is that the songs are a bit introspective, and sometimes it just doesn't flow from one song to another. Or, you know, I need a few of them together so they can kind of be packaged. This one is from the natural Valley of the Sphinx, and it's called Moon song.
I can take my eye off the moon. I can't take my eyes off the moon. I'm making a drive down the 285 and I can take my eyes off the moon. There's money they're running in the road. There's money running in the road, and I hope they survive down the net, 285, and I can take my high, soft number. There's a West Texas wind up ahead. There's a West Texas wind up ahead when there's a West Texas line, and I'll be crossing In time, and I can't take my eyes off them.
The moon's dropping fast in the south. The moon's dropping back, she's a good old music, and the Dawn's chasing us from behind. The Dawn's chasing us from behind. And I will not cower in the darkest hour Because I can't take my eyes off the moon. You I can take my eyes off the moon. I can't take my eyes off the moon. I'm making the drive down the 285 And I can take my eyes off the moon, I can't take my eyes off the moon. I can't take down the 285 and I can't take my eyes off the moon.
That's a tough song to put with other songs. I think I like it all the same. That's it for SATs and sounds this week, I've got one more pre recorded episode coming for you
