Many spiritual seekers spend a lifetime searching for their True Self without realizing it's much closer than they think. Your true self is not in the future or in the past. It can only be found in the present moment, the here and now. Our whole life, we've been trained to search, but as soon as you start searching, a distance is created, and the self for which you seek seems further away. The key is to bring the focus and awareness back into your Self again and again.
