Nirguna Bhakti - The Highest Path of Devotion

The path of Nirguna Bhakti, or Formless Devotion, is the highest form of devotion on the path of love. In different lineages, different beings are idealized and focused upon to connect within the heart. Saguna Bhakti, or the path of devotion with form, typically begins with focusing on a particular deity. In the more advanced Bhakti traditions, repeating mantras can ultimately lead to focusing on the Supreme Lord, but the personality or form is still interwoven into this approach. The Kabir path focuses on Nirguna Bhakti, the formless love, which is the highest form of devotion. Kabir's mission was to provide the means of Liberation, going beyond mere spirituality and offering a path toward true freedom.
