We've been talking about Idaho Squatch Con twenty twenty three, and I know you're here to talk about that, so let's get right into it. Let's talk about this coming up August twenty sixth. What's going on with SQUATCHCN. Who's coming? What are we gonna be talking about? Give
us the lowdown, man, Yeah, for sure. Well let me just start by saying this, Brian, I am super super happy and just honored that you're going to be coming. I look forward to meeting you in person. Finally. I know we've talked quite a bit doing this kind of a thing and on the phone at text, but I am super stoked to have you come out, and so is my partner. And that's gonna be a
great Squatch Con. So for everybody who's actually watching this and listening to this, So Squatch Cohn Idaho's like what Brian said, August twenty six here in Caldwell, Idaho, just outside of Boise. So if you know where Boise's at, you're about thirty minutes from the airport, heading towards the Ontario Oregon border. And it's going to be a great time. Going to be eleven to six on Saturday one time event, and we've got some really cool things
happening. Guys. It's kind of evolved, kind of talking about evolution, right, this Squatch Cohn as evolved into something that's it's gonna be a really unprecedented guys, and it's going to be something one for the books. And talking with Brian and talking with our celebrities, we've got some really cool news. And so just to let you guys know, so Brian is coming,
I just I'm so stoked for that. Guys. We have Jeff Meldrum come in, and then we have Cliff Brockman come in, and we are also working and we've got Michael Freeman coming now as I have three days ago, it has been firmed. Doug Hicheck unfortunately can't be there in person. He's going to be five hundred miles off of Ontario, Canada, somewhere in the bush. He was a little upset that he cann't make it, but we're
working on something to try to get his kids down here. And so we're going to be filming this and it's going to be going into his second film. But the caveat is this guy's Michael Freeman and Doug Hicheck have been working really, really hard, very diligently on a film that his dad shot back in ninety four of the Sasquatch in the Blues, and they've reinhanced it, zoomed it in, slowed it down, and it's going to be one that
you don't want to miss. And we're going to actually be exclusively showing that film or that clip at Squatch Kohn. There will be a live link. We're working on that right now, but when it comes available, we'll let you guys know, but there will be a live length that if you can't make Squatch Kohn Idaho and you're like in the UK, or you're a Canada or head, if you're just you know, down in Utah and you can't make it and you're busy, we will have that available so you can actually
watch this live. And it's going to go worldwide, So it's gonna be unprecedented and it's gonna be something you don't want to miss. Yeah, that's some pretty cool stuff, man. I'm glad that you guys are doing that. I was glad to connect you guys, and I'm glad you were able to work it out because I've been trying to put that roundtable together on the show for months and it's been like hurting cats. So I'm like, well, if Meldrum's gonna be there, I'm gonna be there, Cliff's gonna be
there. Let's just get Michael there and maybe even Dug and we can just do it live at Squatch con Idaho. I was blown away that you guys were able to get that done. You guys have done an amazing job putting this together. I'm excited to come. I hope everybody who's listening is excited
to come. And if you can make it out there, I know it's a hall for a lot of people, but if you can't be there, it's going to be an exclusive thing to be able to have that link and be able to participate in what's going on and see it as it's unfolding. And you can do it in your underwear, in your living room if you choose used to. You don't even have to go outside to do it. You can sit on your couch and enjoy it right there at your house.
As far as I know, I don't think that's ever been done that I'm aware of at any conference anywhere. So I think you guys are really blazing trails and I'm excited to, like I said, just be a part of it. I think it's going to be a really cool experience. Yeah, So, first off, Ryan, thank you so much for
all your help with this. Honestly, if it wouldn't be for you getting me to talk to Mike first and then Doug, if it wasn't for you, it wouldn't be happening. So it takes a team effort. It takes literally a group of people to make it happen, right, And so I'm just honored and so grateful and humbled that you guys are willing to do this, to make this, like I said, just unprecedented and it's never happening
before. You're absolutely right. But if you're gonna be coming, and we want you to come, go to Squatchcon, I know dot com get your tickets. There has to be a limited amount of people that we can let into this square, a core to the city of Caldwell and the Indian Creek plaza. People, we can't have more than five six thousand people in there, so get on there by your tickets because if you don't and we sell out, we can't let you in. As much as we want to,
we just can't. But we're gonna have some really cool vendors. We're working on getting the same for from another podcast. If you guys know him, Bigfoot influencers were really trying to get him to come to come Super Super Bad. Him and Jeff actually might be doing something together where they're going to be doing footcasts for kids, and then they're going to be kind of having an activity where the kids can then do their footcast and then you can buy the
kids there. We're gonna have live music by one or two difference musicians here out of Boise, Idaho. We're going to have stories by the fire or basically get up on the stage and if you'd like to tell us your story or if you guys have had an encounter, please get up and share with us. We're not here to judge, we're not here to make fun of. We all are just here and we'd love to learn for one another. And then we're gonna have a big Foot Calling contest. If you wear a
costume, you get extra points. We'd like to hear those groans. We want to hear what you think big Foot sounds like and what it is.
