I got to sit down with Tony from Georgia. Tony has been researching an area for decades. It's about ten miles from where I grew up in northwest Georgia, up on Taylor's Ridge and Jenkins Gap. If you guys have read Sasquatch Unleashed The Truth behind the Legend, my new book, you know that I've included a story there from nineteen seventy seven, mister Brown, the Jensen Hunter, was up on the mountain and came face to face with one of

these creatures. Tony tells that story because that's one of the stories he grew up hearing and it got him interested in Sasquatch research. So we had so many synchronicities. This was a fantastic interview. Tony's had a ton of amazing experiences. I know you guys are going to enjoy it as much as I did. If you haven't read my new book, Sasquatch Unleashed the Truth behind the Legend. There's a button right here in the show notes you can click that. It'll take you over to our website.

You can pick up an autographed copy, or you can get it from Amazon, Barnes and Noble or Hangar one Publishing. There's a link for them right here in the show notes as well. But enough of that. I know you guys are ready to get into it. Tony's on the line, He's ready to go. All this is left for you to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the show. All right, folks on welcome our guest to the show. It is Tony from Georgia. Welcome to the show, sir.

Speaker 2

Thank you for having me. It's good to be here.

Speaker 1

I am excited about this conversation. You are from my old stomping grounds. I was born and raised in the area of Rome, Georgia. I saw you on another podcast with Doug and Alex over on Untold Radio. You started talking about some of the things that were making my ears perk up, about being back home and some of your experiences. We'll certainly get into all of that, but before we do, I want to start where I start with most people. What got you interested in the subject to Bigfoot?

Speaker 2

Begin with Okay, Bigfoot has been, I want to say, a part of my life, but not as in the research aspect of it. From a kid. I'm fifty three years old, so I was born in the seventies. So my first draw to Bigfoot was the Sid Marnycroft super show Bigfoot Wild Boy. That was one of my favorite Saturday morning shows. My dad would turn on to beat horror movies and that's where I saw the legend of Creed, Creature from Black Leg, Creature from the Black Lagoon. That

is where my Bigfoot journey starts. It wasn't that I didn't believe it. I felt it was real from the start. I never had an issue with not believing it. I'd watch in search over Leonard Needmoy, the Sasquatch docuseries, and stuff that was on at that time that was intriguing. I never had an issue with does this thing exist? Because it would keep me out the woods sometime. I would stay away from dark patches in the woods because I believe that Bigfoot was real. It's never been an

issue with me not being real. I never had that problem of not believing it growing up. I'm originally from Pennsylvania, a little mining town called DeNora, Pennsylvania, part of the Mont Valley, about thirty miles south of Pittsburgh. We would be out and we'd be playing hide and go seek and stuff like that. We were told to be home before the street lights come on. There is a patch of woods by our house, rural but not rural. Is not city. It's almost like near in Hoganville, where it's

just almost country. There was a rumor amongst us kids that there was a big white thing in woods. I couldn't tell you how it got started. I always would chalk that up as a ghost or something. Because my Dad would tell us ghost stories and all that. One night messed around there. I got thought after the street lights came on, it was dark. I had to walk past this patch of woods to get to my house. As I'm walking, I started hearing something walking my exact footsteps.

I look over there, and I don't see nothing. I can just hear. When I would walk, it would walk. When I would stop, it would stop. I started walking a little faster. It walked with bastard. So I got the idea, I'm gonna walk really fast and stop all of a sudden and see what happens. So I did that, and when I stopped, I heard it overstep my steps. I just screamed bloody murder and just took off ran

into the house. But I never saw anything. That was the only instance of any kind of vaut in the wood that's happened to me until I started my Bigfoot research. I guess at that time, I was probably around ten or eleven years old. Every time a documentary about Bigfoot would come on, I would watch it. I liked Bigfoot more than the Lockedness Monster. To me, I was more likely to see a Bigfoot than I would to Lockedness monster. That's where my bigfoot journey started right there.

Speaker 1

Very similar to a lot of people that I talked to. You can grow up, you become an adult, you get the opportunity to start going out and looking for these things. When did that flip for you? When did that switch go off for you?

Speaker 2

I never did want to do that, That's the funny thing. I guess. I was around eighty nine. I'd have been eighteen. I got a job in a convenced store. I worked third ship. Back then, at the time, I was living in Noon in Georgia. It was pretty much country. It wasn't built up like it is today. So I'm working third ship after midnight. You didn't get nobody coming in. There was no customers or nothing like that. I would play It's gonna sound weird coming from me, but I

would play heavy metal music. That's what I listened to back then. I would have some younger kids my age come through and they would hear that playing, so they would stop start a conversation. It got to be where there was like four or five guys would come by every time I work. We would talk about paranormal stuff. We would talk about ghost, bigfoot, luckiness, monster music, we covered the whole gambit of anything we can think of about with strange or music wise. One of the guys

he came in. He says, I know a guy that nunts for Bigfoot? Can he come up? I was like, yeah, the extrame conversation. Now, prior to this, I've always believed they were there, but I hadn't looked into nothing. If the series came on, I would watch it, but there wasn't no research invall. So this guy he comes up. The team that he founded was Georgia Bigfoot Research and Investigation. He comes up. He came up for a month or so. We'd talk a little bit and he'd tell us some

stories and stuff like that. He asked if we wanted to go. I said, no, I don't need to go. That sit there. I believe it exists. I'm like, I ain't got to prove nothing to nobody. I believe it exists. But there were two other dudes that were have a bit about going. They were go, ho, they're going to go. So over time they kept trying to get me to go. This is probably around in June and the expedition was set for October. How they would go it would be fall like early to mid fall to early to mid

spray is when they would go up there. They kept talking to me and everything and trying to get me to go. I'll not go. I do not need to go, as he was looking for this thing. So finally they said, during this time, I would go over this guy's house and he would show me off resources that they had, off footprints, stuff on the computer. They were looking up and stuff. So it was really intrigue and I spoke if they'd go out go, I said, but I'm going by myself. They go, I'll go. So it came time

to go, they never went. I went. That's what kicked it off. That's when I found out about the guy. I can't think of his name now, but he went up there to look for GenZ. Him and his friend would go up there picked gen Z. His friend got sick, told him I'll come up there later. So he goes up he's picking his Gensen. Then he cut movement out the corner of his eye and he thought it was his friend, so he voluntaried him over here. So he goes back to doing what he's doing, and he realized

that his friends should have got there by now. When he realized that. He said, the hair's in the back of his neck stood up when he looked this thing was standing there looking at Although he was wanting to run, he couldn't. He just ve a lot. Did they run? It walked up the revie. The funny thing about that is it walked with a limp. It walked and drug

its foot behind that right there. Would initially got that group up there to research because it involved the Chattuga County Sheriff's Department, the Georgia Forestry Commission at that time, they would actually shut down Taylor's Bridge while we were their research. We had to have a gate key and we had to go to the Georgia forest Fory Commission to pick up the key. To come back. We had to lock the gate behind us and all that stuff there. So we had that whole mountain to ourselves to research

for that weekend. It was I want to say the second, cossibly third trip is where I saw my first footprint. Now, when I saw my first footprint, that had an effect on me like people would see their first preacher, because when they see their first preacher, they're trying to rationalize what am I seeing. I never had that problem because I always believe they were there anyway. But when I saw my first footprint, it was what I believe became a reality. Now. It was like to me, it was

a holy brill I steal. When I see a footprint, I get idiot. It has me where I don't know, it's just that belief. When I saw that print became a reality. It cemented sidequatch for me. On my first trip, I got changed by mountain line. I was in between two. There was a guy about fifty fifty feet ahead of me. There was a guy fifty feet behind me. We were going out at night and I was in the middle. Didn't have a gun or nothing. I hear it coming, they said, dah, So I just dropped to the ground.

They put them shot at it. It took off back up the hill. That was my first time going up there, being out there in the woods, being out in the researching. That had me looked right there.

Speaker 1

Yeah, it sounds like a great way to start off your research, getting chased by a mountain lit finding your first footprint. I can certainly relate to because I've had experiences recently that have taken me to a new level with Bigfoot. But finding my first footprint here on our property in North Carolina.

Speaker 2

We have forty acres out here.

Speaker 1

I bought it specifically hoping that there might be some activity, and it has not disappointed. We found plenty of things here, and finding that first footprint is it's like the Holy Grail. Like you said, it's one of those things where, whether you believe or not, when you find that fi, that's a cool evidence of something being here. It's not your print, it's not anybody else's print that's around that area, because

either there's not people like us here. There's only two people who live on forty acres, nobody else's I know, because you live in an area in Georgia that's pretty rural, and you understand where you don't end up on other people's property uninvited. In these kind of area there's sad thinging and flower bringing if that happens. Because everybody here has guns and you just don't trespass on other people's properties. The fact that somebody's coming on here and hoaxing me

is not even a possibility. So I certainly relate to the footprint thing. Let's talk about Obviously, you're hooked, you're into this when did you start having your first experiences and what was your first experience with these creatures.

Speaker 2

Now, I'm gonna tell a story. It's going to cover a few years because it sounds like it's like back to back. But there was plenty of time when we would go up there and nothing would happen. It would just be a camping trip. And now other times you would have medio grabh activity at other times and you couldn't even sleep that night. So my first interaction with a creature would be when we were around the campfire, just sitting there. They would come circle the camp. Now

we have been up there enough. Now I believe this about bigfoot. They get familiar with you, They learn your routine and know what they can and cannot do. What one of our routines was when they would come around, not to jump up and go after they've just ignored it. Make them think we're ignoring them or don't hear them. They would come around and circle the camp and get just outside of the light radis. You would get a

glimmer of eye shine. From time to time you would definitely hear trees breaking and them shuffling, kicking a rock or two. It would get sometime when we would completely ignore them, just keep talking loud, and they would throw something in the buyer like they were wanting us to acknowledge them to some degree. They would throw a little rock or branch in the buyer or something like that to make it blow up. So that would be my first interaction with him.

Speaker 1

Stay tuned for more sasquatch out to see. We'll be right back after these messages.

Speaker 2

Now. My first encounter I chased one. We were going down into Jenkins Gap. There was me and two others. Jenkins Gap when you to go down into the actual gap, which is it goes down Ope's up till field, so you have to go. You're going side to side going down this ravine and you come up to this fields. We'd get down this field and we're walking and we're looking for tracks and stuff. This is probably about three

o'clock in the afternoon. The sun's out. I'm looking down, but I happened to look up and I see this thing take off. When I saw that, I didn't even think. I just took off after I can see it going through trees and it's keeping ahead of me. I'm not catching up to it, but it's not outrunning me. Either the other two. What happened to them? They didn't even holler or I didn't hear them, But I'm gone. When it ran thor up where I didn't see it no more so. When I didn't see it, I stopped. It

was just silent. The wind wasn't blowing, birds, wasn't turbing. It was definitely silent. I just followed out, Listen, I'm not running no more. I'm not running back to camp. If you choose to follow me, that's okay, but I'm not running. And I backed up, turned around, and I walked back to camp. You could hear them. I was chasing one, but there was more than one down there, and you could hear them following me back to camp. When I got about one hundred to fifty yards out

side of camp, they stopped. I got back to camp. I said, we're gonna have an eventful night tonight. That was my first encounter. My second encounter happened probably year or two later, same area, but it was a location that we called the swamp. It wasn't up on Jenkin's Gap. There was another location in that region we called the swamp, and it wasn't like it was a small beer area. It was just a creek ran along the little trail there, and we called the Salt just because it was wet

on this particular time. We wasn't on the next edition. We were just it was a good place to camp. It's a beautiful place to camp up there. So we went up there to camp. It was me, my ex wife, my son he was probably three years old at the time, my stepdad, and my stepmom. My ex stepfather he was the actual founder and his brother were founders of this group. We're up there and we're talking. It's getting late and everything. The women was wanting to go to bed. This is

probably about nine, getting close to nine ten o'clock. They were wanting to go to bess. We was okay, so because we were loud, laughing and cutting up, so we said, go down to the creek and talk. How this freak went. Was it creekd ran and then the past went and it curved and it come down on the creek. So we're walking and we get into the bin. As we're getting into the bind, this thing steps out and it

doesn't step out onto the trail. It steps to the edge of the woods, like right to the edge I don't know if it didn't hear us, because we didn't hear it coming up. We were laughing and talking. I can see it starts doing this number. You can see the eye shine reflecting off of the camp. It's doing this. I'm like, what the heck is there? He's looking eye level at it. When he finally looks up, he goes to drolls gun, which I stopped him from shooting because

you can hear other ones in the background. So we're looking at it, it's looking at us. Then it just turns and this time you've heard it walk off. In another instance, I didn't see one, but this was the same area because we had went back probably about a month later, we went back there to research that area, this time because of what we saw that previous. It's a Saturday more morning. It's about ten o'clock. Everybody goes back to the store to pick up some supply and stuff.

I made camp by myself. I decide to get get in the tenth take a quick wash off, so I'm all soap up. Start hearing I just I dropped my head. I was like, man, that needs to be an out, So I keep going and then I hear it again. And then when every time it's getting closer and there's there's one here, do you hear one behind you? And do you hear one side and they're closing in, I'm like, oh no, I hurry up and get washed off real quick. And I went and sat in the car till they

got there. I'm not fixing to get caught in that.

Speaker 1

The more I've put myself in places where I believe these creatures are, the more experiences I've had. Let's talk about some of the other experiences that you've had. You mentioned the rock throwing and the stick throwing and those kind of things. That's something that I've experienced. I went on expedition last year up in Radium, BC, Canada. I was out with Todd standing for a week there and

I had some amazing experiences. Didn't see a creature then, but I'd had rocks thrown at me, I experienced what sounded like samurai chatter, and you're hearing the Sierra sounds and some other weird experiences with tree knocks and other things. How many of those kind of experiences, as far as vocalizations outside of what you just described, were you hearing vocalizations in that area. Were you finding tree structures, Were you guys finding rock stacks, were you getting wood knocks?

What are some of the other things that you guys experienced outside of obviously seeing these creatures.

Speaker 2

So it wasn't until later that we started getting tree structures. It wasn't me. They were very few and far between what we've document up. There were eight different creatures. I believe it was a family clan that traveled through there. They didn't stay there, they were traveling through. We didn't get any vocalizations other than your bo grunt you'd hear every now and again, but no howls. We tried tree knocking.

I haven't experienced any tree knocking up there. The closest vocalization I got where we were going back down into Jenkin's Gap and this was probably ten years after the chase happened. We were going back down there. As we got into the second bind, we heard a tree being pushed over. That was the only time I ever drew my gun, So that to me, that was in the gresh.

There's no wind, there's no reason for a tree to be pushed over or follow So I drew my gun and I'm like, I looked at my partner said, you want to go down there and check that. He said, yeah, let's go. So we walked on down there and we seen were the tree. It was still a lie, but it was plopbout that big and I don't know if you see about that bigger mp and you could see the roofs and everything, how it was just pushed over. We looked no footprints. We walked around that whole area,

no footprints. I sat on the decided that had the roots on it, and he sat on the fore side down there, and we were sitting there trying to contemplate what could have pushed this tree over or if it just was naturally fell. While we're sitting there, right next to my ear, I hear look just like that. It was strong enough to where it like I can feel the wind when it happened. I looked at him and he looked at me and I said, did you hear that? He said, yeah. The funny thing is he said it

sounded like it was right next to him too. We looked and we're looking a ring on. Didn't hear nothing come up, didn't hear nothing leave, didn't see anything. But it only happened that one time. That is the only vocalization that I physically heard right there, other than just the I would hear a grunt. That vocalization sounded different than the grunts we would hear when they're walking through.

It was like, because the grunts we would hear, I be like, like they're walking and you know how misstep and you like that. That's what those drusts sounded like. They would only throw rocks when we were ignoring. They were strategic. They were throwing roughs, not just rocks in the camp, but they would throw rocks in the fire. It was precise in the fire. Anything they would throw ass, they would throw it in the fire.

Speaker 1

You mentioned a couple of things I want to talk about here because this is something and I'm dancing around because the project that I was involved in just a few weeks ago, where I had so many experiences that I want to talk about. I'm under an NDA until this project comes out, so I can't really get into it deeply. But I want to talk about something that really has stuck out to me recently. Is eye shine versus eye glow. You mentioned seeing eye shine a couple

of times. I've talked to people that have had encounters with these things, and they describe self illuminating eyes versus eyeshine. Let's talk a little bit about what you guys have experienced. Obviously, you've seen eye shine from the fire, I'm assuming other ambient light sources. Have you ever seen anything that you would consider to be self illuminating eyes or has it always just been run of the mill as a large hairy bipedal ape in the woods can be in North America?

Are you seeing eyeshine versus eye glow or do you think there could be something else.

Speaker 2

Going on there? All right, so I can't say I've seen eye glow because every time I've seen their eyes shining, there has been a light source reflecting. Now, depending on what the LFE source is, that determines what the color of the eye shine is. Because I've kicked one in the face just a mag light and it's just a white yellowish coat. The fire like the campfire, just a direct campfire light. It flickers and you'll have deep orange,

almost reddish color. If it's standing there looking long enough, you'll see it its eyeful be flickering like the fire. I've seen emmil green, bright white or red yellow, all of it was dependent upon the light. I've never seen them self illuminate. There was one instance where we were set up two base camps. We had done something in what we believe was their feeding ground that got them stirred up. They would former USh one camp. They would come to that camp and just start running around, not

throw anything, but just running around. We would call the other camp to come down and help when they would get there, then they would go to the ufther camp do the same thing. This night, we were running back and forth. If you got outside of the light radius, you can see them in the shadows, running and peeping behind trees. The moonlight plays a big part. We tried to go on full moons because you could see at night in the woods you could at least see the

outlines in the shadows. Some tight We was sitting in the dark and just have our flashlights off see what we could see. You would see shadows and stuff running around. But I never saw any eyeshine when no light source was hitting them in the face. I know there has been reports of people seeing red glowing eyes, big saucer

type eyes. Now their eyes are big, but sometimes I wonder there is a light source that they just may not see or be aware of it, or something like that that can be causing their eyes to reflect.

Speaker 1

You mentioned that you thought there was a clan of these things or a family of these things in that area. You guys were out there for decades doing this research. Did you find a pattern in when they.

Speaker 2

Were most active? Was it the fall, winter summer?

Speaker 1

If you could talk a little bit about that, and let's talk about some of the prints that you guys have found up there. Were you finding different sized prints that led you to believe there may be bigger males, females, and some juveniles out in that area.

Speaker 2

The prints that we found, that's what determined that there were possibly eight different creatures up there than being a family clan. The biggest track that we found up there was twenty one inches. We didn't have enough plaster of past before we ran out of plaster of parish pour in a fifteen inch track. Now, the difference said is you had that big twenty one inch. Now we call him the old Man because we believe that's the one

that the gentleman saw when he was picking Jedsen. We believe that's the one that he saw because there was definite evidence of one that was crippled. He was not always there. You didn't see him much. But this track we found was fifteen inches, and some of them had different characteristics. Some toes were longer than others. Like you've had two to fifteen inch track, one of them's toes will be longer than the other one. Just crazy stuff

like that. The smallest one was thirteen inches. We assumed that was a jewnile one. We believe that they traveled through there. We went up there in the summertime, and we went up there wintertime. Absolutely nothing. We believed that they were coming from somewhere going through that location. We don't believe they lived there, but they went through there.

The time that we had the most activity is when we would have so happened to interrupt their flow, because they said that there was nobody up there during that season right there. I boys believed that their pattern of travel was in the spring, they were coming through there, going to somewhere. In the fall, they were coming from wherever they went to in the spring, going back to where they were going. That's just what we believed was going on up there. The footprints we poured. Here's a

sad thing. The two dudes that were over this tea. They both passed away at all of the evidence went with it. We had hair samples that didn't get sent off. We had footprints that I couldn't tell you what happened to them. And that twenty one inch track we so happened to find it, that was found by accident. So where we camped that we set up our base camp. It was off of the Spire Road, so we parked along the Spire Road. The last car was by a tree that we would go take a leak at. We'd

packing up, get ready to head home. The girl back there of her car, she's putting her stuff bed and she hauls out. Hey, guys, Pepper, I look at this and we go back there and it is pretty twenty one inch track, it's about that deep in the ground. He had to weigh every bit of eight to nine hundred pounds. We had a dude there that weigh three fifty. He couldn't even scratch the service man. How many times did we go back there to take a leak? How

many times? Because it was just outside the light radius, because we had women in the team, so we didn't want so it's just outside the light radius. It's back there by this tree. Just I think it easily to snatched us up and just we brought our team from the as a paranormal team. They mainly done research on ghosts and stuff, and I think they have one or two expeditions somewhere else.

Speaker 1

Stay tuned for more sasquatch oat to see we'll be right back after these messages.

Speaker 2

And they had Nightfisch with him. This was the first time we had used Nightfitch because we didn't have the money for the technology that was out there, so we basically just had maglights. We even go out there in the woods look do our checking to see if anything's come through during the daytime. At night this wait for them to come to us, but then we would probably make them do stuff we can gather the evidence. This guy they had night vision, so we decided we're going

to use this night vision. I had a camera, another team member had a camera, and that guy that actually brought this stuff he had like at the time was a third generation monocular night bitch. So we'd go out of base camp. Its first time we ever. Let this is the first time we didn't have anybody in base when we went out. We always had some life to stay back in base camp. So we go out. We're about one hundred yards outside of base camp. In each direction.

The night vision camera that the other team had the battery went dead in it. Their battery goes dead. He comes over the radio. Well, he tells me, so I'll go get the batter. No big deal. He's done a night vision camera branch researcher. As he's walking back to base camp. He comes over the radio. His voice is shaken. He's I see it. It's standing right here. What do I do? I'm thinking shoot it. But's coming out and doing something. He was quivering his voice. He's gonna get me.

So I take off running down there, and I'm trying to see through this night vision little window. I can't see nothing. I'm running through these woods. What I'm trying to do is save my teammate. I'm thinking of ways I can tackle this thing. So I'm running just full board, get to where I see him, and I see him pointing towards it. I'm trucking down through there and I get to where he's at. By this time, the other

teammate comes up. It's down there. It's down there, So we take off down there, and I can't see much, so I finally just took him put it down because it was making me. I couldn't see. I was running in the stuff. So we get to the edge of this little ravine. Look at this, dude, listen, do you want to go down there? He's now that is too dark and it's too deep, and you can hear him scurrying down. So we come back up and Buddy is

sitting on the ground, literally in tears shake. He was probably ten feet away from it because there was a tree there, and it was standing in front of the tree, just about on the road. As he was walking up the road, he walked to the edge of the road and you don't necessarily walk on in the middle of it. He walked right by, and he was glancing at it that night, and it was right there. The creature did not realize he was seen, so the creature didn't move.

The guy is standing there with them didn't be to this thing. He's looking at it and the crew just looking at hill, and it didn't move. It just stood in there until he started pointing that when he started pointing at it and he heard me coming, it relaxed and I think That's what kind of scared him because it looked like it was coming at because it just hunched over like, turned and went down that ramine. We interviewed the map boards. He said it was built like

very easily like. His description with it was easily like. It had big upper body but skinny legs. His upper body portion did not match his lower portion.

Speaker 1

Here's something else that I love talking to people who go into areas over and over again and deal with the same individuals. I think it's fascinating because there's so few people that get the opportunity to do that. A couple of people come to mind that the folks at Nawac, the North American wood a Conservancy out of Area X. There's people out in the Olympic Project, and there's guys like Shane and Randy Herrington or doing things in the four hundred, But you guys were dealing with these things

over and over again. Here's one of the things that has always fascinated me about sasquatch research is people who claim that they are hit with, zapped with, or experience infrasound. That's something that any of you, yourself, or any of your teammates ever experienced while you guys have been out dealing with these things.

Speaker 2

Now, I've never experienced the infrasound. I believe they do it because large mammals have that. For examplehen your tigers, your big cats, they start purring. I believe these creatures have that. I think it's individually based. For example, I've never experienced it, but some of my teammates now, of course they've called it zap I like to say the infrasound. I believe it's a low frequency that just messles with your alert nervous system. I don't believe it's all purpose.

I believe it's something that they just naturally do based on a particular circumstance, their rate of breathing. A lot of times it's been like an stresful situation that people are impacted by that. The bigger the creature, the stronger that infrasound will be. For example, if you take a lion cup, the infrasound, but it's not to the level of a whole grown lion that when they roar, things caused when the cup wars, nothing happens. And that's doesn't

mean does it's not there. It's just not matured or developed to that level yet. So there's a couple of members on our team at that time that have experienced it, and what they've experienced was just like a day's type thing. They lose track of what they're doing. That's happened when creatures were a rent, not when they was, but when they were arount. So I fully believe in the Infrasunz.

It's like said, I don't believe it's a directed thing because if that lotercasion I was chasing that one, I'd got sack, they'd have got me, but nothing.

Speaker 1

That would be a perfect time to use it, if they could use it in a direction to stop a thread. It's a very good point. I've never talked to anybody who's tried to chase one. It's a rare thing that people into the woods chasing.

Speaker 2

I've heard of negative encounters with these creatures, but for the most part, I have not for the most part that they've been docile. They've been curious, playful at times. I said, we were dealing with the same creatures for ten twenty years, so they knew what we were going to do. There was a familiarity there with them. Now

I'm not afraid of them, but I respect them. I tell people, listen, if I'm going in the woods and I know the the sisequas there, I'm good because I ain't gonna worry about bears, lives, all this other stuff out there trying to get because I do believe they'll cover you. If you out there you're just tooling the law and they're around. When some other animal tries to do something to you, I honestly believe they will cover

you in that respect, run it off. And it's something that you may never even see or know even about, because you're just buying your old business. You don't know there's a wolf there. You don't know there may be a bear there. But these creatures do.

Speaker 1

Let's talk a little bit about the naysayers in Bigfoot, the skeptical folks out there. I am a very skeptical person. I have certainly came a long way in believing that these creatures exist. I am one convinced that they're real. But here's the question that always comes up with the skeptics. You're a longtime investigator, You've had tons of experiences and encounters.

Speaker 2

With these things.

Speaker 1

How do you deal with that as an investigator? When the questions come of where are the bodies? Why is there no video? Why is there no photographs? Why haven't we proven that these creatures exist? How do you deal with that as an investigator when you have those kind of conversations with folks.

Speaker 2

My first rule of some is one, I don't try to convince anybody. I believe in my credibility, my intager. So if a person trusts me, then what I'm telling them they can trust when I'm telling That's how I look gap because I get ridiculed at work all the time. They talked a bunch of trash when I won a couple of days off there. When I'm I'm going research, I'm going bigfoot research. They have no problem with it. What I tell people is this, especially with why don't

we have footage of one? I tell them we do. I said, the best foot is that you will ever see was taken in nineteen sixty seven with Roger Patterson. Go look at that. You have a female. I'll always remind him. Remember this is nineteen sixty seven and you have a creature that you see muscle mass, muscle movement, breast. The closest thing they could get to that was Tobacca and Star wars, there's nothing even close to that. They're still trying to prove that fake to this day and

they cannot. Now, we got plenty of video evidence of sisquatch, but at the same time, we got plenty of evidence of fakes out there. A video, a picture taken today does nobody any good except for the person that took it, because you got so many fakes out there. If I took a picture of one or one of my expeditions, you would believe me because you know who I am.

Speaker 4

You know me.

Speaker 2

But if you didn't know me and I took the same picture, you would chop it up as faith. So we have the evidence, we have the footprints, we have the hair samp. But when they send the hair sample off and it comes back unknown primate. The key word in that is primate. So that's telling you we have a primate that the next part to that is unknown.

That's telling you that there's something out there that is a primate that's not classified yet it doesn't have a super long name attached to prime to say this is what this is. So we have that there is a plethora evidence out there. It's up to you to accept it. I'm not going to try to talk again to believing it or not. I like to take you out there with me one time. If you're experien something, I'm gonna laugh first or see your reaction. But yeah, I don't

try to convince them. They'll come up with how there ain't no bodies finding the woods and stuff? Go tell find you a wirrelbody in the woods, find you a dead bird in the woods. Find me any and what you see every day? Find it in the woods for me. We got putting your woods around here, Go find one. It causes them to think them they'll start what about? What about? And when they start with the wood abouts, then we're going somewhere. I love it. I have to ask.

Speaker 1

This is one of those things that comes up on the show all the time. I have to ask if you had any weird experiences because you seem like I don't want to put words in your mouth. But I am in the flesh and blood camp. I think these things are flesh and blood creature. I'm not in the high strangeness in the woo camp. But people do have a lot of weird experiences. They see lights, they see orbs, They have weird experiences. Sometimes at the same time they're

having sasquatch encounters and activity. Have you had anything weird happen to you in the woods, and how do you deal with that as an investigator? Are you in the flesh and blood camp? If so, how do you deal with some of the other strange things that people encounter doing sasquatch field research? And how do you as an investigator rationalize that for yourself.

Speaker 2

I come from a biblical approach to it. I'm believe that sasquatch is a flesh and blood creature, just like a deer is a flesh and blood creature. But if you go to Gettysburg, that paunted ground up there, you have a deer that's there. We know it's there, but you might have a ghost in the background looking at it, or some kind of overflying around. I think Southbuck is lumped into that with it. Now, I have had some stuff that I can't explain, for example, following the track

line and it just vanished. Okay, when that happens, I don't attribute that to any kind of special thing. If something's happened, I don't don't know about it. I don't know what happened to the track. I don't know. So now I don't flicked to say that. I don't know. We looked around, nothing was there. But I steal one hundred percent believe we're talking about a five peeple prime eate that is just not yet discovered now could yet project its voice that for to do something like that,

that's a possibility. That's a big creature with big lungs waiting them. Take that back, let me rewind. Oh, no, expedition. About a year ago, I seen an orb in the woods what I believe wasn't or because I saw a light and it was just there and there was no reason for it to be there, and I'm watching it, I'm like, is that the light's not leaving? What is that? So it was there, but I honestly believe that's I take a biblical approach to that. So when we're dealing

with the wood, we're dealing with the spiritual aspect of things. However, when you're dealing with bigfoot, I don't see a problem with bigfoot being there and spiritual stuff being there too. Just like a deer can be there and spiritual stuff can be there too. We can be at home and have spiritual stuff happen. You know what, I'm saying that doesn't make us lou or hav any special abilities. But

stuff is happening. I don't discredit to not strain us because the way I believe is there's a lot of things happening in these days that's going to ramp up from a spiritual perspective there. But I don't believe Bigfoot is part of that. It's just happening in his environment, just like it happens in ours.

Speaker 1

All right, last question, Tony, are you still going out It sounds like you are. You were out on an investigation a year ago. Are you still going to the same area You're still going out there? What is the motivation for you after having all these encounters and experiences with these creatures? What motivates you to keep going out

into the woods? If you're going out in the same area, are you seeing a difference in the type of activity that you were seeing maybe back in nineteen eighty nine, versus you might go out next week and experience something with these creatures. Are you seeing a difference there?

Speaker 2

So, I haven't been back out there since twenty seventeen. To Taylor's rid, I do want to get back out there. The reason why I have not life happened for me, got away from it for a while. Like I said, the two founders of that team member they had passed away the team. We had a lot of older members. How we went up The last time I lector was twenty seventeen and a storm had come through and changed the whole landscape out there. I do want to go back up there to see if there's anything still there,

anything's happening. The last time I knew and that's how I checked this, the mountain was open to the public. We had a lot of hikers going through in our ladder times. We had people on horseback riding through the camp. We had people on trip. It was very publicized where before they should shut the whole mountain down for.

Speaker 1

Us and stay tuned for more sasquatch out to see. We'll be right back after these messages.

Speaker 2

But now everybody's up there, so I would like to go up there to see if these preachers are still there or if they have been moved on to another location or something. So we're not going to that area, but I'm with two new teams. One team studies High Strange, which is ASoft, and the other team Seekers. We studied sisquats, but we worked together. So I still go out. Like I said, I got away from it for a couple of years. Life happened for me. Bigfoot wasn't paying the bills,

so I had to make some adjustment. But I had two guys we were at work talking about Bigfoot and they were gung ho about wanting to go out. I'm back out, going for it again. But I do it now. I enjoy the people. I enjoy sharing my experiences, I enjoy past on knowledge. Just really the camaraderie that's here now, because back when I started, you didn't have a Bigfoot

community you got. Now this is just blowing up, and it's really neat to see where we were researching to what it is now and how many people is out there and how many people is doing it. I was telling another guy, I was like, we already have the evidence. We already have the evidence. We know what these preachers are, we know what their habits are, we know what they eat, we know what they look like, we can define the species. We have the evidence. It's just we're waiting for science

to say, Okay, this is here. So I guess that's what motivates me. Is wanting to be there when they say, yeah, you guys got a point. This thing is real. I really enjoy just being out in the woods, being out research and being out with my friends because I've met some great people since i've been back doing it and it's just been awesome. So that's what keeps me going. Who doesn't like being in the woods just camping? The big Foot's just the cherry on top. You're out there,

you're just kicking back. Then it doesn't scare me. And I always wanted to hear that foggy creech holler. I've always wanted to hear that. I've yet to hear that. Keep going out in the woods, my friend. I hope it happens for you. Tony.

Speaker 1

Thank you so much for coming on the show man. It has been an honor and a pleasure to have you on. I feel like you're one of the ogs. You've been doing this for so long, and just having you on the show and sharing your experiences and your knowledge to all the people that are going to listen to this.

Speaker 2

Thank you for having me. I really appreciate it. I enjoyed your show. I'll listen to your show today. I really enjoy your platform and what y'all are doing. It's awesome. We need that in this community. We need that because there's a credibility to your show. I definitely appreciate it, my friend.

Speaker 4

They say, you.

Speaker 5

Don't got to go home, but you can't stay.

Speaker 4

No, I don't want to feel all we're all happen.

Speaker 5

Science trying to try that chart everything.

Speaker 4

Call it ride back right back joy from me. Need joy staying right, call it right away.
