I got to sit down actually a couple of months ago now and talk to Bob from Ohio, and he had some really interesting experiences with what he believes to be the Ohio Grassman or Sasquatch out in and around the Akron, Ohio area, and he mentions during this interview that he was featured in a
photograph on Monsterquest on their Ohio Grassman episode. I actually am using a couple of minutes of audio from that video that's over on YouTube. If you want to see the photographs and see the video in its entirety, head over to the blog Paranormalworldproductions dot com. Check out the sasquatch Otyasee blog at the top of the page, and you can see those photographs and the entire video on

All that's left for you to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. I want to welcome my guest to the show. It is Bob from Ohio. Welcome to the show. Thank you man, pleasure to be here. I'm glad to have you. So let's get right into it. Let's talk at this big foot thing. What got
you interested in the subject to begin with? That's a funny story. I've seen the in Search of the leonardinmore of the Patty film, and at that time I thought I was a monster out west, and I spent a lot of time basically every summer at my grandfather's house. My uncle and my dad would tell me stories about the Ohio Grassman. Now I never heard the herd before they, my opinion, coined it. I found out years later it was eighteen hundreds when it was coined. But they would say, you got
to be careful when you get on the canal. Now this is right along the Ohio Theory Canal and Akron I honestly, Dad and my uncle are telling the stories to keep us from going down there screwing around all that stuff. But my uncle would take us down there and me and my cousin would teach us how to build lean two's, and from about the age of nine, I would spend weekends down the canal camping and fishing. Was a twenty even a walk to my grandfather's house, but we would literally be down there all
weekend. I was about twelve years old, and me and my cousin were down there and they had a I don't know if you call it a landfill or what, but a bunch of concrete that was like torn up from a street thrown in this big field and it made natural caverns and capes. We were down our goop and off doing things that kids do, and come across this footprint. Now, mind you, this is before cell phones, before internet, we'd have cameras on us. And what struck me as weird.
It was barefoot, it was in the mud, and it was about seven inches deep in the ground. Now it was soft mud, I get it. So we went and got my uncle, and my uncle come down, looked at it, put his boot next to it, and stepped it. And he might have went in maybe half the distance half the depth of this track, and the track was probably three to four inches bigger than his boot. So he looked us and said, you guys be careful and took us back to the house. So he got on the phone and called my dad
that evening. My dad came over, had another uncle that was there, and we all went down the canal. My younger brother was with us, so there was three kids and three adults. Now we're just down there walking around, goofing off. We didn't have flashlights, so we're down there and we put up and at this point I'm thinking, okay, here's where the parents and the uncle's going to try to scareish. That was our mindset,
and we're off the trail a little bit, hunkered down and there. My grandfather's neighbor had four or five dogs and they would follow us down there constantly. The dog's running through the weeds. We can hear them running and barking, and don't think much of it. All of a sudden, the dog stops, and the woods went eery quiet to where I'm getting goosebumps now. But just like a choke White, added Kurt. We heard the dog ruffling around, and I shit you not. We've seen a large hairy arms swing
around and wap this dog across the hindcore. This dog did three spins in the air and bowld it. Dog didn't go home. Never seen that dog again. It just it was gone. So we're all sitting there and the layout of this place is right along the Ohio Erie Canal. You come down my grandfather streeted dead ends into the woods, but there's a service road, I guess you would call it. And it had those great big white rocks that they would throw down on dirt roads, and it would fork off.
If you went to the south, that would take you further along the canal, if you went to the north, that would take you to the main road, and if you went straight, you hit the canal. So it's like a fork. So we're hunkered down there and can't find my one uncle, so my dad my other uncle or hollering form and holler in form, and they tell us to stay here. Now here's where I'm thinking it's gonna go nuts. Me, my cousin, and my younger brother stand right at
the fork in this road. Now, for some god, all for reason, we had this idea. We're going to pick up these rocks and we're going to stand back to back and whenever one comes at us, we're gonna start lighting them up with these rocks. At this point, we're thinking it's going to be my dad or my uncle trying to scare us. So my brother is facing west, I am facing north, and my cousin's facing east. So we're sitting there and this thing come across the road, lightly hunched
over. One arm was almost dragging the ground. It was hunched over that much. My brother drops his rocks and we got to be fifteen feet from it, and we started throwing these rocks at this thing. It stood literally on the edge of the path in the woods, and we're seeing these rocks hit this thing and bounce off. Now mind, you were twelve thirteen years old. We're not adults. We're not throwing rocks at deadly forest. It's gonna kill anything. If it's our parents or our uncle, they're gonna make
a noise. This thing stood there, grunted and stepped into the woods. That was the end. We bowlted from there straight to the main road. We're screaming for our parents. My dad comes up to where we can see him, and he tells us to walk down the main road to go back
to my grandfather's ever going to go look for my other uncle. So we get home or we're running down the road we're screaming for my grandfather where he grabs u twelve gags at that time and steps out on the front porch, thinking something's going on, and we can hear my dad and my uncle hollering from the woods. It's just an eerie feeling to hear your dad, who you think is God, screaming at the top of his lungs like something is
going wrong. So they finally make it back to us without my uncle, and my dad's shirt is shredded, his chest is red, not bleeding, but red, and he says he got shoved aside. So they grab guns and go look for my uncle. Nicholas will say they don't find him. We find out the next day my uncle took that split it the fork at the row, went to the main road and went home. Didn't tell anybody, but from that moment on all the stories that I was told growing up
clicked. It just It was probably a year and a half before I'd even go down there and fish again. But every time we go back there between the months of May and August, something would happen, whether it be rocks being thrown at us, more like a fealing, you would get I wanted the while. You'd hear grunts, you would hear things cracking in the woods. My dad and uncle went down there about two years later with us.
We were going down there doing catfishing. If you follow the canal around at Forksaw and if you stay to the left, there's a we called it the footbridge. It was just a big drainage pipe with a grated plank on it that you could walk across the canal. We were down there and something was probably one hundred yards away from us in the woods snapping I don't want to say sticks, but sound like tree snapping. It had that loud, cracking
echo. We literally walked two miles to another main road and walked a country mile around the block to go home. We wouldn't go back through the woods. My dad and uncle were okay with it, but no Me and my cousin a like, no, we've been through this, We're not doing this again. But it just the stories I heard, and I had another uncle deny it, and about five years ago he admitted to it, which just
led the credibility of while all these stories, you know. But since then they put in a toepath that goes along that, and they have flooded all that. The picture from Monster Quest is dead center in a field, and that's now ball foot underwater. They have opened up the old pump wells from the fire. Some point it's a Now there's nothing but a lake with trees are growing out of it. I got a couple of friends of mine that
are in law enforcement for the city. I don't know if I should mention names or not, but while they're doing the construction, they would hire private securities sit down there with their construction equipment and they were getting run off. Bulldozers and earth movers were being pulled off their tracks. So they shut down that stretch of the towpath for about two years, flooded that, and then they came back in the following summer and that towpath was up in four dhs,
you know. And I still think it's around there. I literally just bought a house not too far from there, and I got night vision goggles. Now I'm like, I'm going down there. I may stay close to the main road, but I'm going down there. Let's go back to what you guys saw and we're throwing rocks out on the road. Can you talk about what this thing looked like. Give us an estimation as best you can on size, weight, height, and description of this thing. I'm fairly
short, I'm like five six. My uncle's right around six foot. This thing had to be at least two heads taller than him, the girth of it. And the weirdest thing was when this thing went across the road, I could see i want to call hair, not fur, but hair all over its body. You could see it through the moonlight, but it was plain as day. The head never moved when it rang when it would have strode across the path there. Now the path is basically a service road,
so it's eight nine feet across. This thing made it across in about two and a half steps, and the head wasn't balancing. If you're stretching to make a stride, how you would dip down. That never moved and when the first rock hit it, I think it was my cousin that threw that one. It stood up and then turned its hip and then the head followed and it just squared up on us. And literally, I don't know what we were thinking, why we kept throwing rocks, but it never made an
aggressive move toward us. Honestly, I tell everyone, if it wanted to get us, I would That's all there is to that. But the eyes on this thing, now, I know if you've talked about the glowing or the eye shine. All we had was moonlight, so I couldn't see no glowing or ambient color coming from it. But I could see the whites from it because like its eyes opened, that had to be this. And it just stood there and looked at us and then stepped off into the wood.
And I think when it stepped off, that's when real fear hicked me. And I'm like, where do we go? What do we do? What? Again? Know? It just it was fight or flight, and there's no fighting at that point. We were three kids that were probably running it faster and an adult would go we were gone, Yeah, I've been there before, man, When I was twelve. The experience I had that. I believe I was paced out of the woods by one of these things.
I was assholes and elbows for about eight hundred yards. I would have probably set some sort of Olympic records run underway. I was frozen in fear, and then once in the flight part of it kicked in, I was gone and I never wanted to go back in the woods. It took me a
while to get back out in the woods. Very much like you said, it was one of those situations where I didn't want to run into anything again, and I was afraid it was going to escalate after that point, and I was actually going to see this thing because I never saw anything and I didn't want it to escalate. Yeah, just well see the stories that some of the stories my dad had told me and my uncle who's now passed away. The first people to see it was my uncle Richard and my uncle Tracy.
Now my uncle Tracy's the one who's been denying it up until five years ago. Him denying it is what put a lot of okay nothing going on. Ere trace would tell the same story. But the first time they saw it was at that footbridge I was telling you about. They were fishing off the footbridge and my uncle Richard was backing up and this thing stood up beside the footbridge and was taller than my uncle now the drainage by. As a twelve year old, I literally had to put my hands on it and pull
myself up. You couldn't just step up on it, so it had to be four four and a half foot high. But this thing stood up and it was probably four feet from My uncle and Tray seen it and they started running, and I almost think the thing was playing with the more than anything. I almost think we were its amusement, because it would get out in front of my uncles and pop up, and they'd run the other way and
it'd get out in front of them and pop up. I asked my uncle, I'm like, why didn't you just one to the other side, but it's twenty five feet when to the other side, and he goes It's almost like that's what it wanted us to do, And I'm like, okay, if it makes sense. Who am I to question, especially after that night. But the same thing with my dad and uncle when they seen it, it started by pacing them out and then showed itself, so they turned around.
Ray back the other way. They literally for an hour was running back and forth, which way do we go? The same would come out and cut them off, but it never made any type of aggressive move toward him, like we all been back their fishing and got hit with rocks. Honestly, I thought it was just, you know, id he had kids thrown rocks at people. But the more I thought about it, and the more
stuff that happened, I'm like, that's it was playing with us. Let me go back to talk about the situation where your dad and them go back into the woods looking for your uncle. You hear him screaming, You hear him yelling. Did he get into what happened there? Because you said his shirt was torn and he had his red chest? Did he talk about what had happened to them when they were in the woods. The only thing he
would tell me. Now, mind you, he might have. We've talked about it a couple times since then, But at that time I almost think that there was more to the story, but he wasn't going to tell the kid. What he told us was him and my uncle were standing off in the woods hollering from my other uncle, uncle Henry, and they couldn't get a response, and they heard something coming from their left. Well, they turned, thinking it was Uncle Henry to go toward it, and Dad said
this. Dad and my other uncle who's not to see, said this thing come right between them and just shoved out of the way. My dad was turning toward it at the time, and when he got strupped, his shirt got ripped and his chest was all read. All he said is he went about three foot in the air, hit the route. He was just shoved out of the way, and a thing just beat ass to elbows through the woods. You were going to say something about what you guys had come to
the conclusion of or something before I cut you off. Yeah. I used to tell my friends about this and they're like, you're full of crap. This is the city. It ain't out on the mound. And I'm like, okay, so we take people down there and let's go camping this week and we'll go find it. Every time we went down there with that mindset, I shit you not, nothing would happen, no eerie sheeeling, the
woods would be chirping, nothing, Okay, it's gone. We go down there next weekend just to camp and fish, and sure enough, it would happen. We've come to the coclusion. If you're gonna go look for it, don't go beaten through the woods looking for it. Just go out and camp. Be your So every time we went down there, something would happen,
like we would find there used to be wild dogs. Now there was a junkyard not too far from there that had junkyard dogs, and we used to think the wild dogs for the woods were junkyard dogs that got out of the gates and we would find them literally with their head laying on their back, just ripped back and their head their neck snapped and their head laying on the back of their shoulders. Once that night happened, when we've seen it,
everything clicked. We have the understanding that these are gentle giants, and they some might be, but they don't like dogs. I've come to that conclusion. They do not like dogs, but I don't think they're malicious. Now, I'm not willing to test my theory. Okay, I'm not willing to go out and score off with the Bigfoot. No, your woods man, do what you want. But I definitely think that, at least in my case, if it wanted to tear us up, it would have there's
no hands down. I think back and man, you were stupid for thort of rocks. That was the stupidest everything could have went bad with that, and I'd be on what's his name's four one one. It's like the thing that got me ticked off about the subjects and I literally just quit talking to people about it is They wrote a newspaper article about it. It was bigfoot in Ohio, and a couple of guys that we took down there for an investigation said oh, we won't use your names. This won't be published.
They wrote a book about it. They used all our stories, and I'm like, you know this, And Jody Cooks that want to call us and said, hey, this is what they're doing. I just want to give you a heads up. Literally we took them down there in nineteen ninety five, and the story broke in the Akronbeacon Journal in ninety eight. And this lady that wrote the story, I did another podcast a couple of years ago,
and it just turned me off on the whole subject. And I batted around a long time about getting a hold of you, letting you know what was going on. She saw that area always flooded they didn't do nothing to flood that. No, my dad lived there from fifty five and it never flooded, so it didn't always flood. They opened those gates to finish the eerie toepath and it drove me crazy, thinking, Okay, if that's how you're going to treat this subject, no wonder, we're never going to find
anything out. But police officers knew about it. They were down there with us a couple of times. I got it, like I said, I got a couple of friends are in law enforce when we were fishing and Roscha getting thrown at us, and you know, they pulled her side arm mount and put it in a lap. I'm like, you don't want to do that. Just know that nothing good is going to come a doing it. I don't know what it is. I'm like, if I tell you what
it is, you're not going to believe me. And what you pulled out your little mind, Millian, you are ain't going to do a darn thing. Let's just pack up and go. They know this, he's down. It just it's been an ongoing thing. So they flooded that entire area. You mentioned the Monster Quest episode. Let's talk a little bit about that. How did that come about? What was the scenario around that? And I know that you mentioned something about possible nests that you guys had found while out
researching. Can you talk a little bit about that as well. Yeah, we used to find these big and I do mean big domes that were built back there in ninety five. When we took the investigators back there, they did a whole bunch of like soil samples and they were doing I don't know what you would call it, but they would take this device that would read heat. It wasn't like a thorough on camera, but it would read heat and it was like all degrees cooler and the dome than it was out of
the dome. And then they did a bunch of different stuffs on it. And Jody Kook was one of the guys that were down there. So years later, when Monster Quest came about, they ran an episode of the Highiograssman and Jody Cook when another guy were actually investigating down in saltwork, but they were talking about the stuff that happened up in Acric They showed the picture of literally me inside this nest. Now this was in ninety five, and when
the picture was taken. So I was twenty five at the time. Jody Cook and all of them were standing around. They got the picture of a guy outside the nest, and they got to picture of me inside the nest. Jody Cook and this other PhD the Island Saltwork said, we weren't sure
what it was, so they tried to recreate it. These two guys spent hours and hours trying to recreate these domes that the dad and Uncle Dick used to tell us all the time, those are just the big Foot house and that's the Grassman's house, and we stayed away from them, especially after what happened to us. We didn't go nowhere near those things. It literally was about eight foot high inside and about twelve foot long. You could put a
couple guys in there. And I hear, I am building lean tos and this thing's building a mansion compared to what I built a sleeping out there. But yeah, the picture is in the Ohio Grassman episode of Monster Quest. Now I wasn't part of that. It was just a picture that Jody Cook hadn't used. But it just struck me as awkward. Okay, you and this other guy can't recreate this, but you won't call it what it is. We told you what it is. Everything was all laid down in there
was matted down, something sleeping in there. He just refused to call it a nest. And then shortly after that, I started hearing Bigfoot and that's popping up all over the place. I'm like again part of my life growing up. They're there, and stay tuned for more sasquatch out to see. We'll be right back after these messages. It is a creature that haunts Ohio children and their nightmares. Don't go out of the yard of the grassmen will
get it lurks in the taelve grasses and it's huge. Hard explains how it made me feel. I mean, I had nightmares after the evidence of strange nests, a print that must be analyzed, bizarre nocturnal recordings I know, the creatures in the area that wasn't something unfamiliar with, and an image captured on video of something so stealthy it wasn't even those It's pretty clear that it's an upright walking animal. Science explores the probability putting evidence under the microscope and
taking the search for the grassman to new heights. Sometimes of a signature right there down near the ground. Why it looks I'm not sure what it is. Ohio the Buckeye state, known for its heavy industry and home to more than eleven million people, but there is also a rural and wild side to the state. Eastern Ohio, a place where eyewitnesses have long told stories of a creature that evokes the fear of a bogieman. But these monster tales may
be rooted in a real creature that eyewitnesses continue to report. They call it the grassman. Long flowing hair around its shoulders, and something came up over the ridge, black, broad shoulder. It was a massive individual. It did walk under a limb that later on we measured at ten feet high. It's typically described as human like because of the fact that it's walking up right
on two legs. You know, you shaped like a linebacker, with a broad shoulders, broad back, no neck, small head you know up into the neck area, very large muscular arms, very long arms. Most eyewitnesses describe the grassman as seven to eight feet tall, walking upright, with broad shoulders and black to brownish hair. The creature is also said to have a very muscular build with large hands and feet. For amateur researchers like Jody Cook,
the Elkins account is just the tip of the iceberg. Cook claims to have found even more evidence that an unknown primate habits eastern Ohio. Yeah, we found a sheltered area. It was more like an igloo. It was completely hollow on the inside. On February nineteenth, nineteen ninety five, Cook and two other men were investigating some recent sightings outside of Akron. What they found was unlike anything they had seen before. These three photographs taken by Cook
show what he refers to as a possible primate nest or shelter. The structure was very unique in the way it was formed. The branches, the grass, and everything was interwoven. It took some time to do this. The nest measured ten feet long and about three feet wide, hollow on the inside, with enough room to fit three adult men. The way they're constructed, it was interwoven perfectly like your building to quilt. It was the best way
to describe it. It was just done very creatively. The foundation was constructed of large branches with smaller branches woven in between. It appears to be covered with long grass and other forest material. To provide protection from the elements. Return trips to the area for additional research proved unsuccessful. Actually, we went back on two different occasions to look, but the area is just so overgrown with large grass, weeds and stuff. It was very hard to find.
The second time we went up there, and it's been completely mowed down in that area, so there was actually no structure there at all. Have not ever seen it again. Yeah, The next thing is pretty interesting to me having conversations with some of the folks from the Olympic Project. Shane Corson was on the Bigfoot round table we did not too long ago, and I found some interesting things here on our land that looked like it could possibly be a
nesting situation. And I've always found that curious because I got into that conversation with doctor Chiro. I don't know if you've heard that episode or not. Zon we got into this conversation about things that apes do and things that apes don't do. And we know that great apes, at least some great apes build some sort of nest, So it makes sense that that would be happening if sasquatch are what I believe that they are, which is some sort of
a large bipedal ape. But the interesting thing is some of the other lean tos and things that people find, these tpee structures and things like that, don't make a whole lot of sense what you're describing. It sounds like this thing was pretty much enclosed. It was like a structure with bowls and things over it for shelter. Is that what we're talking about. Yeah. It
literally was some bigger sticks that were bent. They weren't snapped, they were bent and stuck into the ground, and then there was some smaller stuff over it, and then some leaves woven through it. If people did do it, I guarantee you it took them a long time to do it, and you really wouldn't have the time to do it. We were down there every weekend. We'd be down there, like on a Friday, fish and go back to Grenball. As we come back down Saturday do the same thing.
There'd be a nest there and I'm like, okay, we fish in here. It was just kind of how it was. But the thing that was weird about it is the other two investigators that was put Jody Cook out there with us. They wanted no part of it. They didn't want to they wouldn't go in it. I'm like, I'll go in it. If you guys are here, I'll go in it. I got in that and there was no odor, but there was an eerie feeling. Now that could all be in my head, but it's like I've been told they're the grassman's nest,
and now I'm in his backyard and not going in his home. But it just was a real eerie feeling. And I got out and Jody klok Cook looked at me and he goes, you're right. I said, I don't want to ever do that again. It just a feeling I had. Maybe I overset my bounds. But I don't understand half the investigators out there. I've talked to a few of them. When I was in the Army. I was at Fort Lewis for a short time doing some special training.
They're nonchalant. Now this is up in Washington State. It's not even Fort Lewis anymore, just like Fort Benning is no longer for Benning. But they told us you don't get a live AMMO when you go on Maneuver's state side. At that time, it was miles gear back laser tag. They told us you're not going to be given live ammo. But there are sasquatch up here. Don't engage them, don't confront them, just let them do their
thing. Everyone's laughing about it, and I've got this thing in the back of my head going, oh no, not again, nothing happened up there. But to have your your master surgeenc how you flat out there are sasquatch up here? Can I have some live ammo? You find out that all the paperwork it's involved if you shoot live ammo outside of a range in the military that you know. So I do think that a lot of our military installations have them, or at least they're aware of them. I'm not biting
all the whole cover up thing or anything like that. The military does things that they don't tell the public about point blank. But I don't think that there's a crew going around hunt them like people are saying. I don't believe that our government is sitting there saying, oh, yeah, we got to cover this up. If anyone's covering up, it's just going to be a foresh industry. That's the only cover up that I would see happening, other
than in my case, local authorities. You're not going to say here's a grassman or a big foot down for the year of canw It would cause a mass panic. There's houses twenty feet outside the woods. They're not gonna publicize that. But in turn, I also think these things no better to come too far in. It's obvious. I think they know what guns are. I think they know that whether it kills them or not, it sucks, it hurts. But yeah, I'm almost done with the big boots. So,
Jake, I love the subject. I love to listen to your podcast. I love to read books on it. But I don't think that I'll be talking to any more investigators. And I wanted to get ahold of you so bad because of the Doug Hicheck and I found out he produced it, and I'm like, man, I just want to know I was the one in the hut. Well, I'm definitely glad you did. Let's talk a little bit about your illusion with the researchers, because that's something that's come up
plenty of times on this show. Wayne and I have talked about it on that Bigfoot podcast. I think there's such a division, and it happens so often. I had a conversation with Renee Holland. I was actually editing her episode. I'm going to air that interview here probably tomorrow as we record this. Renee is one of those people. She was clearly on finding Bigfoot with
Cliff, Matt and Bobo. Renee is the skeptical scientist, right. She doesn't believe that these are an undiscovered biological creature, but she believes in Bigfoot. So I scratched my head about that because I think she thinks there's a little bit more to them. She didn't elaborate on that during the interview. She hasn't done that with me privately when we've talked either. So I'm gonna press her on that a little bit when we were gonna hang out in June.
I'll be down at the Great Floorida Bigfoot Conference with her speaking there. I'm gonna have some more conversations about that. But I said all that to say, there's so much division, it seems at times when it comes to the researchers. Has gotten you so disillusioned because I can see it's a palpable thing with you about researchers. Is it something in particular that sticks out that you have a problem with. Yeah, the whole thing about the researcher is.
If you're going to research something, you can't be closed mind. You've got to be open to all possibilities. I don't want to name names. What the show you mentioned. If they mentioned the WU, a certain verson just jocks it and ignores it. Now, I don't necessarily believe they can teleport it and out, but it's just my opinion. I'm not closed off to it. I'm just saying I just don't have that belief. But I do think that I'm not sure the proper terminology for this. As a human,
we only use the small percentage of our brain. Other animals and mammals use a larger portion of their brain. What's to say that a bigfoot of Grassman of sasquad can't use even more? Did they proven that human mind can have esp It can move things, It can do this? Not very many people can. But what a bigfoot is one of those anomalies that has the full function to do that stuff? Is it WU or is it just his abilities? His brain? The whole the polar bear for Ben's light, they
can see military has camo that does that same thing. They got to be getting it from somewhere. But I just think Bigfoot is just I wore a gilly suit in the service. I know how to camouflage, but I had to be taught how to do it, and I was taught during a course to do it. If you're a sasquad, you're probably being taught that from day one and it becomes second nature to you. So I don't necessarily believe they teleport how. But it's just the researchers that No, if it's wu,
it's not Bigfoot, or if it's this. Hey, if you're researching something, be open to it. And I like the Facebook groups on there. I'll get on there. Look, I won't comment on much because you know, you throw your opinion out there and you've got ten guys ripping down your door. You're full of crap for whatever. Dude, I work for a living. I don't need to be on a keyboard argument with you right now. Sorry. Jody Cook has given up on researching Bigfoot. He says
it's too politic, too combative. Okay, now he's researching the dog Man. Okay, you've got time to kill it. At least that's my opinion. Yeah, I agree with you that there's a lot of back and forth in the research part of Bigfoot, and I get it. In my book, I said part of that was we have to be open minded. But I think it's very important to also be very scientific in your approach to looking for these things. But you can do both, in my opinion, I
think you can look at the science. I think you can do it in a very scientific way, use the scientific method, you can use critical thinking. But if you do come across something that is unexplainable, you have to be open to the fact that it may be a part of the phenomenon. And I used to be very guilty of that. I was always guilty of that. People would tell me stories about weird lights and orbs and other things sometimes going on at the same time as big foot activity, and I say,
oh, that's weird. I just separate the two. You got this weird thing going on, and you got Bigfoot happening. So I've had to get to the point where I think it could be related in some way. And again, I don't think Bigfoot is an alien. I don't think they're teleporting in from another dimension necessarily, but there are things that we clearly don't understand about these creatures. We have to be open to how that might happen
outside of just being a physical creature. Again, that was one of the conversations that doctor cherrou and I had on the episode a couple of weeks back. Was there's a lot of things that happened in nature. He said it himself. You say something definitively, Oh, there's no more of those. And then somebody goes out and pulls a sealcant out of the ocean that's supposed to have been extinct for how many hundreds of thousands of millions of years?
And you go, oh, could it be possible that a bigfoot is eventually brought out of the woods, either alive or dead? And they go, oh, I guess they are real. So that's what keeps me coming back to the well man, I don't know. Like I said, I love listening to the podcast, especially yours, because you have the same approach I do. Let people's o their stories. Some stories I get are far fetch, but I am not saying they're not true. It was, like you
said, their experience. Now, like we've had things happen in my grandfather's house that my brother said he's seen a pair of hairy legs standing out the window if we were down the basement, go down the basement steps, there's a window there. We ran outside. There was nothing there. There was
no evidence of anything there. But my dad came home on the motorcycle from work that night and seeing something in the backyard, so he took off on the motorcycle after then went back around, came out the driveway and went down the farmer's lane behind him, and then he realized, wait a minute, I'm out here by myself, and he turned around and came back home. But nothing happened. We would hear things, especially before my insigant my sighting
happened, that we would just think, okay, it's dog. Charlie. Years later, I heard the Ohio holl and I'm like, there was no dog. It was literally that we heard that, and Matt Moneymaker went to Acrid universe. When I spoke with him about this, because I remember reading about that, but I've never been down there to check it out. I'm like, there's no point now. He needed kayak and Scooby gear to go look at the ground. There's nothing there anymore. Too many coincidence happen for
not to be something. I honestly just I think it's a flesh and bug creature that uses more percentage of their brain than we can fathom, so therefore they have what we would call special abilities. I've tried to set up tario cams, and I realized we can't get them on TiO cam because they probably can see in the infrared spectrum, so they can see the light. They're just gonna stay out of it makes sense. Doesn't mean I'm right no, but it answers my question. And that's what I'm all about right now,
is just answering my own questions and leaving it at that. I really appreciate you coming on, man, I've had a good time talking to you. Thank you so much. They say you don't gotta go home, but you can't stay. I don't want to feel world happen. Si si chart, there's chart that chart. Everything came right back, right back, joy from me, enjoy staying right there, come in right away. Stills s s s s s s s s still stutts still steps us ssssss
