Greg from Oregon. Welcome to the show. Man. Hey, Brian, thanks for having me on. Appreciate it. I have been looking forward to this conversation, so dive right into it. Man, let's talk about Bigfoot. What got you interested in the subject to begin with. Honestly, it was my first direct encounter with one. I'm growing up here in Medford, Oregon. We are definitely right smack in the middle of Bigfoot country. I
grew up hearing stories. I was never one of these people that I saw the Legend of Boggy Creek and I got into it, or I saw the Patterson Gimlin film and I got into it. I just grew up here hearing stories directly firsthand in the area. But the funny part was I had never been out with my family and had anything happen. As I got older in my teen year, spending a lot of time out there in the woods by
myself, I'd never had anything happen. But I was always one of these kind of people that I never say never about anything, and became an atheist about it. I suppose I was a bit of an agnostic. I'm like, could be true, but I don't know. Nothing's ever really happened to me. Sickly how I ruled through life, and I kept thinking I would see one or maybe find footprints. The fact that they made sounds never entered into my consciousness of a way I may have an encounter. So sure enough,
August of eighty four, I'm out with my bud Rick Chadwick. We're in the Skylakes Wilderness. We are out there to scout Elkords, is what we are doing. First day in on the trip, we're hiking a long, beautiful day, deer elk everywhere, birds going, squirrels going, perfect weather. Couldn't ask for anything better then second day, as soon as we rolled out of the ten there was a stillness to everything that was almost ominous.
But the weather hadn't changed. No deer, no elk, no birds, no squirrels, no nothing, And we're thinking, wow, that's really odd. Why would it be so much different today then it was yesterday. And that was the only thing we really thought about. We'd put about seven almost eight miles in and we walk up and we see the stream and the first thing we see in the stream or trout, and we're going, okay, we're stopping right here. There's a nice meadow area over here. We
got the stream right here for water and fish. We found some other edible things there to munch. One some berries, we found a couple of mushrooms. We were good, so we caught our dinner, had dinner, nothing going on at all. We roll into sleeping bags, and the next thing I remember is I'm waking up at two thirty in the morning, bright full in tense moonlight. All the coyotes in the neighborhood are going off, all
of them. And I don't know that I'd ever heard that many coyotes at once before, but I'm listening, going okay, that's just coyotes, no big deal. And I just started to drift off back to sleep when I heard the howl. What I heard, of course, if you've ever watched Finding big Foot. You've heard Bobo do it a million times, though big long drawn out. I sat straight up in the sleeping bag and went, what in God's name was that? Rick started laughing. He was going,
I've been waiting for you to wake up. He goes, this has been going on for half an hour now. I said, you're kidding me. He said no. And then of course, what is it? What's making that sound? And we're listening to coyotes going off and it just keeps repeating the how, and the coyotes keep going off. We're going, okay, what makes a how? So you rule out bears, you roll out cats, you roll out cows, cattle. You then drilled down on coyotes.
This thing is nothing like the coyotes were listening to the first thing we thought that might be plausible was a wolf. I'm listening to it, and I just go, that just doesn't seem right. There's something odd about it. Even though we decided okay, it had to be a wolf, but still just didn't sit right in here or in the heart. We listened to this thing, it kept moving north away from us, towards Crater Lake National Park and the coyotes kept responding. Eventually, even when we couldn't hear it,
the coyotes in our area were still responding. And then finally, either at stop or it moved far enough north that even the coyotes local to us were not hearing it, and then they settled down. So we settled down. We go to sleep, wake up the next morning, and it was exactly like day one again. Deer, elk, birds, squirrels, everything's cool, everything's great. We were out there for a week. Nothing else unusual
at all happened. I was ready to write the whole thing off. And then five years later, on an elk cunt on the north side of Oak Mountain here in Jackson County, my uncle and I had separated and he went to the south of me. I was working my way up north and I started following this creek and I'm walking up along the creek bed and I see this big game trail coming down off this bank, and I'm looking at it and going, Okay, I'm going to follow that. That is what I
call a game super highway. It is so big, it is so defined, you can't miss it. It's like a human path. So I started following that thing up. I came over the crest of the hill, I'd gone maybe fifty yards, and right next to that is about a four inch in diameter fir tree standing that I look at the top, top's gone. The top two feet of that thing is nothing but bare wood fiber, no barb, and a spiral shape, not b not cracked, not raised off,
spiral shape. And I'm looking at that and going that is really weird. Because by this time in my life, I'm already a wild firefighter. I've seen a lot of tree damage done in different ways, and I've never seen anything like this. The top being completely gone was as much of a puzzle as anything else. But I look it over and again I'm just like,
man, that's super weird. Start heading up that trail. Went about another one hundred yards, found the next one again, same exact thing, about a four inch diameter for and about eight feet off the ground, just that spiral, no barb on the wood fiber. And I'm like, Okay, this is freaky. Two of those. All the other furs the same size in the area, not a thing wrong with them, it's just the one and it's the one next to that game trail. When I found the
third one. I did two things. I finally reached up and touched that wood fiber sap on my fingers, and I'm like, okay, this is fresh, this has just happened. That tree is still putting. Then I turn and look at where I'd come from, and I noticed I could see the other two looking down and against the dark green background, and I had a cloudy day. Those things stuck out like torches. And that's when it hit me. Something blazed a trail here, But what why? I kept
following that trail. And then there's a ridge that runs north south, directly due north of Oak Mountain. I came in on the bottom of that ridge and there been a big logging area, so it had been cleared out pretty good. And where I'm standing looking up, I would have been in full view of anything at the top of that ridge. In this just jet black, dark timber. The whole background was dark. Do you see the crowns of the trees. But ground level, something could have been standing right there
in full view, and I never would have seen it. And especially something like a bigfoot, with the way they blend into the background to begin with, could have been right there. I never would have seen it. I'm looking at that and I'm thinking I want to go up that, because now I'm starting to switch back into el cutting mode, thinking they're going up and betting in that timber. I made two steps towards that ridge and then heard do not come up here? Whoa who said that? And I'm looking around.
I'm going my uncle's here, who else is here? Why would he say don't come up here? So I'm real puzzled. Then I take three more steps up and then got hit with that message again, only this time much heavier, much more. Do not come up here? Change direction, cut back, started working back north along the edge of the reprot of that logging area and the whole way walking through there, I'm expecting to see other people. I'm expecting catch the guys who pranked me, because I could hear
this. I was sure somebody was saying it scouted that whole area out, no fresh human tracks in there at all. There was even some snow to help just deer, el all the things I expect to say, cruise that whole thing. And of course all the deer and elk have gone to bed into heavier timber and in shelter, so I worked my way back out. I worked my way down to my uncle. We meet up to have lunch, and I said to him, I said, was there anybody else up
here? Because he's in position on the one road you could drive in access the area, and he goes no. I said, did you hear anybody? Did you hear voices? Did you hear something like that? He goes no, what are you talking about? And I go, I must just been my imagination. And that's truly what I thought. I was thinking, Okay, you just you had your scary moment in the woods things and you
started hearing things. And that's that was nineteen eighty nine, five years after hearing that vocalization, not curious about anything, still not looking up bigfoot stuff here about it, and go okay, Patterson Gimlin film. Yeah. I looked at that and said, okay, whatever that is, that doesn't move like the human at all. I could tell that just by watching it.
I've watched humans in the woods for years. Knew that doesn't move like a human being moved, especially when she does the turn because she's looking at Bob riding across the creek at her. That's what made Patty turn and look By the way, if you didn't know, Bob rides across the creek on his horse. He's trying to get a better look at her. That's why she turned and looked. So years go on, I don't even think about these
things. From time to time, Rick and I had get together and he'd mentioned, he goes, hey, remember that when we were up there in Skylakes, and we'd laugh about it, but we really didn't dwell on it, and we didn't turn into we got to figure out what that was. Nothing. I probably never ever would have gotten into this except in January of two thousand and seven, I'm waiting for a ski race to come on the old Outdoor Life Network. I was a ski racer for Mount Batchelor, still
follow the sport. They were showing a live ski race from Europe coming up at eleven thirty at night our time, which was of course daytime when the race is happening in Europe. So they tune in early and there's this show on and at first it's like, what are these guys doing? They're run around it, are they in the woods at night? Are they playing Capture the Flag? What are they doing? And then they did a recreation of an encounter and I went, oh, Bigfoot. Okay, so I start
watching this. It was the old show Mysterious Encounters that Doug Hicheck was the producer of. At the end of the show, they put up two websites to go to for more information. The first one was Autumn Site Oregon Bigfoot, the second one Matt Moneymaker before there was a Finding Bigfoot Mysterious Encounter. He was on it and bfroro dot net was listened to the website alphabetical order, and Shorter just put bfro dot net pop into the site. I'm looking
at it. Then something on the left hand side of the site catches my eye. Sounds sounds, okay, click on sounds. I think to this day, bfroro dot net still has this. The first thing you hit was mats recording from nineteen ninety four in Ohio and Columbiana County of the howl. As soon as I clicked that, goosebumps, every hair standing straight up.
That was exactly what we heard in Skylakes ten years earlier. Mind, you and dogs are responding in MATS recording in Ohio exactly where the coyotes would respond out here. Bryan, you will never ever convince me a hoaxer did that they're not going to go to one of the more remote wilderness in southern Oregon, then they're going to go to Ohio produce the exact same sound with the
exact same canine reaction. At that moment, it was game over. I've heard classifications of belief in Bigfoot. You have the total skeptics, you have that it might be possible, You have believers, and then you have knowers. I'm an absolute noer. I was a knowwher as soon as I heard Matt's recording before any of the other great things to come in my life. As soon as I heard that, it was like done, they do exist. Then it became I want to have more encounters. How am I going
to go about this? BFRO of course does expeditions. Then they announced in two thousand and eight they were going to do an expedition here in southern Oregon. So I immediately got in touch, was ready to send my three hundred dollars in and then Matt read the bio that all people who are going to attend an expedition required to put in. Matt read my bio, they got in touch with me and said how would you like to attend for free? Sure? Okay, you sound like you might be the guy we're looking for.
To help our guy coming in scout potential locations for this expedition. I'd love to help. Where are we looking at now? It turned out they were looking directly south the Cave Junction and Josephine County, Oregon Caves because, of course, everybody knows the Doctor Matt's story about Oregon Caves, but they wanted to be somewhere in that area. April of two thousand and eight, I roll over to a great place in Cave Junction, Taylor Sausage, and
I meet Cliff Brrickman for the first time. Cliff was the guy from BFRO who was coming in to do the advanced scouting. We struck up an immediate friendship that continues to this day. Cliff is absolutely one of the best human beings I've ever met. Loved the guy to death. We just immediately hit it off. We scouted a lot of different locations. We encountered some very
interesting humanity living out there in the woods. The problem we had then, much like this year, we were getting a lot of heavy lower elevation snow. There were some great spots that we wanted to try and get to that we just couldn't because of deep snow. One of those spots by the time the expedition happened on Father's Day weekend in June, there was accessibility right directly
below it, and that was Bolin. Late we couldn't make it all the way to Bolin, but there's a little area right down below Bowlan called four Corners because you've got four major roads that basically intersect there big meadow, and that's where we wound up setting up that expedition camp. That was the main camp. Then there was a second one that had BFRO members over closer to Oregon Caves. We got up there into that site, it was just truly
amazing. Heard my first good power would knock on that expedition then had a bigfoot going into very long sustained vocalizations on the hill right above camp. We had all separated out, we'd spread out. I was with I can't remember who it was from BFRORO, but we had people I'll never forget two of them. One was from Ohio, one was from Illinois, and that one from Ohio is going to factor big here in a minute, but we're all
out there. Heard this big, heavy just booming against one of the big old growth trees down there, no wind blowing and as soon as we heard as that was a knock, and we could not elicit a reply, because the interesting part was we got that knock, we hadn't even been knocking. We were walking down the road, everybody just checking everything out. We had older generation one night vision people were peeking through that and then just an unsolicited,
big hour knock. We're standing there. We made a couple attempts at trying to get a reply by knocking, and all of a sudden, Maps on the radio freaking out going We've got no one vocalizing on the hill right by camp, and stay tuned for more sasquatch out to sea. We'll be right back. After these messages, we'd worked our way down into this dip
in this ravine. We couldn't hear it, so we turned around. We start running back up the road going towards camp, and as soon as we came up out of that ravine, then we could hear the vocals going off. All get back to camp. Cliff and Chris Minier go off right straight up the side of the mountain trying to chase this thing down. Bart Katino took his thermal toys. He goes around the road, trying to circle around if Cliff and Chris had driven that thing off the mountain across the road.
Bart wanted to be where he could get footage of it. Everybody else fanned out. I just said, Okay, if everybody else's fanning out, I'm just gonna stay right here at camp, because the thing may realize that humans are everywhere but at their camp. So I sat up right there on my truck, and then the vocalization stop. I could hear a brush popping and cracking up on that mountain, but found out later that was Cliff and Chris.
I waited, and nothing else was going on. I jump into my truck in the passenger seat at the window down, and I start dozing off. And then I hear a big crack. Hear a big branch broken out of a tree to my left. Couldn't have been more than fifty yards away. Of course, I don't have night vision, but it is a bright, full moonlit night, so I pulled the binoculars up. I'm scanning. I didn't see what did it, but again, no wind going. Why is a big branch going to come out of a tree unless it was pulled
out. Eventually, I drifted back off to sleep. Nothing else happened all of a suddenly, you do that, I think, when you fall asleep, you know you fell asleep and your body's wake up stupid. I do that, and I wake up and I see this black thing coming in on this road into camp. Now, the night before I got there, they had a camp. The guy from Ohio was the only one who woke up, and he heard the thing come into camp, and he's, I could tell it was trying to be quiet. I could tell it just by the
movement. Then he said, then I realized it had stopped right by my tent, And he said, I heard like a finger being dragged on my tent. He goes, I peeked up, and I could see the shape, silhouetted by the moonlight, standing over my tent, and he goes, I just got back down in my sleeping bag and I froze, and I prayed that thing wasn't going to do anything else. I said, did you want to peek? And he goes, no. I was terrified at that point. I didn't even want to peek, but he heard the thing move
through camp. He said, the snoring in camp was unreal. By the way, Matt Moneymaker ridiculous snore. He sounds like a bear. Tip number one, if you really want to have a big foot encounter, be intense, or just be out on the ground and exposed and fake snoring. They know what snoring is. I know they know, and they will deliberately listen for it. Then they'll approach you real close. But anyway, this thing moved through the camp. I did not have the opportunity to get there that
night. I came up the next day. Everybody's telling me the story, so no, I'm in the afternoon. The sunlight position is completely different. So I was talking to the only person who woke up and I said, what direction do you think it was coming from? And he pointed at this spur road that runs right through and then takes off to the southeast from where they'd set camp up. And I went, okay. I didn't see anything directly on the intersection where it came off the main road. Didn't see anything
in camp. But I start walking off down that spur road, and as you get away from camp and into the trees. It's covered with all this soft mossy type vegetation. I looked and I could see the impressions and the moss. I said, yeah, it walked right down this road. I can see the impression. Nobody else had seen that, and Cliff was really impressed. He goes, how did you see that? And I go to me, that's clear as a bell. But now we've got the sun over
here at this angle and it just lights all that up. He goes. We were over here in the morning and couldn't see it. I said, because then it was in the shade. You needed that sunlight shining on it to make the little presses more obvious. And in the afternoon could absolutely see it. That wound up being a really successful expedition for them. Learned some great things from Matt that would help me later. But unfortunately Matt and I type as do this. I never got to be an official part of BFROO,
which was okay. Honestly, I like thinking of myself as the Switzerland of bigfooting. I try not to get into the drama and the conflicts. I try to just be happy doing my own thing. But I love having all the relationships I do with everybody because you get nuggets from this person, you get nuggets from that person. But the funny thing is, because we don't know for sure what they are, that's where the conflict starts, and everybody is so in love with their own belief as to what they are.
I'll put it honestly, I love Cliff to death, but based especially on my own interactions, now, there's no way they're just apes or anything like that, because if they were with as intense as we are in the effort to get them, we would have achieved that. By now. We're deploying some pretty impressive, high tech military level stuff out into the field and we're still not any closer yet. Yeah, I am not going to buy the
just the simple with a thing, because there's not. As time has gone on having my own interactions, it's really taught me they're not just simple for us states. There is also a reason why some people get successful and some people don't. I think your demeanor and your approach to them is everything. I know. They read people extremely well. A Bigfoot would be the best
poker player in the world because they just they read us. They know us far better than we know them, and they know how to exploit every bit of weakness that we have, and we don't even begin to understand what level of weakness they may have except for one, and that's curiosity. And you really have to be able to know how to trigger that curiosity complex in them. They don't think a lot of people are going to be willing to do what I wound up doing when I really wanted to have an encounter. They
just won't. I definitely want to get into that. I want to go back. I think what you just said probably cleared a little bit of that up for me, But I want to go back to the initial time when you were talking about you heard this telling you not to come up that game trip. Looking back now in hindsight, are we talking about something auditory or
were you talking more like a mind speak telepathic communication thing. What do you think that he is now looking back in retrospect that you experienced that day that BFRO expedition. God bless the fact that Rich Hucklebridge was up there. He was a BFRO member from southern California, retired sheriff's deputy, A lot of
background. When I told Rich that story, Rich no hesitation. All he goes You got telepaths, and I go explain that to me, and he explained the whole concept to telepathic messages, and he goes, you will always swear you heard it, you really truly heard it, but it was in your head and they implanted a message. And he said. The other thing you've said that was really key to me was it was proper English and it was a very heavy male sounding voice. And rich said, you got telepathed.
As time has gone on, and especially now having had it happen again in a far different way, yeah, I actually, I really do believe I have been telepath twice. The first time was definitely a warning because for where that thing was looking at me, you could see my high powered rifle. You could see that. To him, I look like potential big trouble. He didn't want me getting anywhere near up there, and especially now knowing what I know about him, because I suspect there were babies or really young
ones present, and I got the message and he bugged out. You threw the teaser out there about the curiosity and some of the things that you've done to get a little deeper into this, Why don't you take us into the next experience that you had with these things. This actually was the fun one because this one I went into it purpose designing an encounter. But I had gotten really frustrated because I found an area they were in. I kept trying
to have encounters but wasn't having encounters yet. So one night, another buddy of mine and I just said, Hey, here's what we're going to do. You're going to take me up to the gate that blocks people from getting up to a fire lookout in this area that I go to. I go, you're going to drop me off there. You're going to return down below camp, which is about three miles down mountain from where the gate is. And I said, I'm going to walk back to camp, no flashlight,
no nothing, just me walking. And he goes, really, he goes, why are you going to do that? I go just for the fun of it, because I didn't want to come out and say what I was really going to try and do and have him think I'm nuts. He's all right, how are you going to float your boat? So we get up there, and again, by the way, this is August. This is that same full moonlight cycle that you get at the beginning part of August that we had our encounter in nineteen eighty four, and that fact, though,
actually didn't escape my mind. That was something I began to wonder about, going, well, if you had these conditions before and you had the encounter, could you possibly have it happen again? So he takes me up, drops me off at the gate. I've spent half an hour sitting on my butt, didn't move, just oriented myself to the woods. The amount of light if you just sit there over the course of time, it's amazing how well you can see on a full moonlit night. No flashlight required, no
nothing. So I just sat there, waited, got up and started walking down that road back down the mountain. I had gone maybe three quarters of a mile when I heard the first movement to my left. And when I say shadowing me, what it was doing is I would move, it would move, I would stop, it would stop. And I knew it was something of size. So in my head, I'm running the checklist, dear, elk or bear. Okay, if it was any of those three, why wouldn't it keep moving When I stopped. I start moving, and I
have this little part in the road where the bank. There's vegetation down here. But then from the mid part of the bank, next to the road on up to the trees. I've got great visibility. I'm walking and then immediately turned, stopped and looked to the left and up. What I saw I'm never gonna forget. There was the biggest head around this fir tree, massive shoulder, massive arms. I could see this, and he's just looking at me, and I went, whoa, and he moves back in behind
the tree. I was like, I did it. I've got one right freaking here. And I had done a lot of research. I'd read all these stories, I'd looked at pictures. There is a great representation of the soldier who had a direct face to face encounter with one on Fort Lewis in Washington. And the size of that thing towering over the shoulder, and the artistic recreation. You look at that stuff and think, wow, I wonder
if that's really how it's gonna be when I see one. And then I look up and I see that, I'm like, they're big, really freaking bag. And I was like, but that is so cool. So I wait a moment. He's still back behind the tree, not moving at all. So I start walking off. He starts following me, again, and I do that stop snap movement, and each time he'd died back into cover,
So I'm like, okay, this is working. Then as I started walking further, I'd gone maybe fifty yards, and then I hear bigger movement here, but then closer to me, I'm here in smaller movement, and I'm like okay. So I start moving along and then do the snaplook and a smaller black figure, just more of a black shape, dives into furs. It's closer to me, but I knew it was way smaller than what was up the bank, And I'm going, we got a kid. So
now I've got two shadowing me. I start walking. Off to my right is a man's anita patch. As I'm walking along, I'm paying close attention to what's going on over here. But all of a sudden, I hear a crack in the man's anita. I turn and look and see this head up over the man's anita in it duck as soon as it's on me looking at it. So I'm going three. Now I got three. So I've got the two over here, big one, little one, and I got
another one down here in the mansanita. They're following me along. Then I stopped to look again in the man's anita, only this time now there's two heads, a smaller one and a bigger one, and they both duck into the manzanita when they realize I'm looking at him. I was like, Okay, this is interesting. Now I got four They're not trying to get any closer to me, and it dawned on me, they're very curious about what you're doing because no flashlight. Not scared at all, and I truly wasn't.
That's one of the elements why I think most people can never do what I did. People are terrified to be in the woods in the dark, and I'm not. I've been raised in the woods my whole life as wildland firefighter. I'm very used to being in the woods in the dark. I have a comfort level with it that I don't think very many other people have. So when I start moving off again, this is when the real fund started. The little guy over here to my left starts soft tossing little pine
cones over my shoulder, landing the road in front of me. You know how, when you're hanging around with a little kid, like a little brother or a little cousin, and they start trying to do obnoxious stuff just to get under your skin. That's exactly how this fell to me. I started laughing, go huh, yeah, I know, and I keep walking and then little rocks start coming from the right and below me and hitting in the road, and I knew exactly what they were doing. They decided they were
going to test me. So the two adults are there, and I know it was the kids doing it, just messing with me, but they all wanted to see what they could push me to do. And I just kept going, no, I'm just walking down the road. You guys can follow along, you can keep doing this. I'm just going to be walking, and I did. When I finally get down the mountain and they stayed with me. There's a big hairpin turn that when you come through that you're going
to be immediately obvious to our camp, and I was. But as soon as I hit that hairpin, they all scattered. They left. I could hear movement taking off to the right. I could hear movement to the left, and I was like, that's cool. I don't care. I just got what I wanted to have from them. Show up in the camp and Jeff's all what happened, And I said, you are never going to believe this. I'm sitting down and I'm facing to our west and there's this dip
right on the other side of camp that you walk up. There's a deer trail there. You walk up that and it takes you into this reprod area with a lot of men's and need a lot of berries, a lot of food source. So I'm sitting there, I'm talking to him, and all of a sudden, I look up and I see these two faint, what looked like dim red tail lights, definitely a place where there's no road and there shouldn't be tail lights. And I'm looking at it, and I'm puzzling,
and we're talking along, but I'm watching this. I'm going, what am I looking at? What is that? And then I saw the blink. When I saw the blink, I knew what it was. I jumped up and went disappeared. I truly believe, especially based on what we did after the incident. Big Daddy came back around. He circled around, and he knew where he could look at the camp and think we weren't going to see him. But I spotted the eye shine. Jeff goes, what did you say? And I told him and he's no way, and I said,
yeah, he was right there, directly across from me. We start talking again, and a little bit of time goes by and I look up and there's one dim red tail light. Then I keep watching and then there's two dim red tail lights. I went, oh, he's back, and Jeff did the what jumps up and looks and immediately gone. I said, you can't do that. Don't do that the next time it comes back. If it does, all I want you to do is just slowly turn your head, then start lifting your head until you see it. But don't do
anything like you just did or I did the first time. He's like all right. So we're talking along and then I look over there again and there are two dim red tail lights sitting there. I go, okay, he's back. Just remember ease he bring your head around and then easy, bring it up. And he did it, and I'll never forget when he saw that thing, it was just like, oh my. Then that thing blinked and he saw the blink and he was like, he's just standing there.
I go, he's just standing there watching what we're doing. He's sizing us up right now. Apparently he got bored with just watching us sit there at a campfire, because he turned and he moved back over into that repot area, and I was sure the rest of the family's in there and they're gathering food, and he probably went back went these two aren't doing anything, so we're fine. When we got up the next morning, we went where we thought he was, and of course, when his eye shines, disappearing big
furs, so I figured out immediately what he's doing. He's just ducking back behind that fur, and then he'd like look and make sure everything was cool. We spent the rest of the day looking around, and we didn't find anything great. And I've never been a big one about casting. Of course, Cliff's telling me cast everything. I've done that and most of what I got turned out looking. This isn't anything that's we're going to convince me.
But we found impressions all over the place in various sizes. Obviously great hotspot. If I went through every single encounter I have had with them, it'll be five pm this evening my time, we'll still be talking. I'm gonna hit a couple that I think are far more interesting because I think it reveals things about them and their nature. The next great encounter I had with Big
Daddy, and I'm never going to forget this. I was probably a mile and a half west of Low Camp, middle of the night, and I just gone out and was sitting on this down log, and I could hear activity all over the side of the mountain. When I say I could hear activity, there was movement. They were vocalizing back and forth to each other. Contrary to what a lot of people believe, they do whoop to each other, and they do would knock to each other even if there's humans not
present. Stay tuned for more sasquat Chatta see. We'll be right back after these messages. And I hear this all the time. Now, Oh, they only do that when we're around, No, humans only hear it when
we're there. It's a form of communication they're doing all the time. So I'm sitting there listening to them interact, and I thought I heard what sounded like a rat down behind me, and I didn't really pay it too much attention, and I'm just sitting there and then all of a sudden, it was like I got enveloped and I knew something big was right behind me, and I'm like, oh, And then I heard the Darth Vader breathing on
steroids. He was so close to me. I could hear the air coming in and going out, and I was like, wow, big Daddy is standing right behind me. I didn't even have to turn around. I knew who and what was right behind me and so close to me. Could hear him breathing in and out. By the way, no smell. If you
believe smell always follows bigfoot, you're wrong about that. I have had an odor present on maybe thirty percent of my total encounters, but the majority no smell at all, So you can't rely on smell as an indicator of a bigfoot being around. He stood there, and I'm like, Daddy, I know you're there, and I know you could finish me right now if you wanted to, but I'm just sitting here on this log and I'm listening to the family carrying on, and I'm just going to keep sitting right here on
this log. He stood there behind me and watched me sitting there on the log, and the whole time I'm like, Wow, Okay, this is a lot closer encounter than I want to have, really, And then he finally got bored to watching me, and he turns and he starts going off down the hill. And when I heard him get off down the hill about a couple hundred yards down, I turned look in the darkness and I go, thank you, and I meant it. But there's another proof. Are
they hostile to humans? Definitely? Not always. I have never had a hostile encounter with this family group, not once. But to the north, there is another family group that Henri would probably be the best way to describe them. There are a lot of hostile encounters with human beings with that group. They're very antagonistic towards us. And it isn't just about hunters, and it isn't just about people out robbing their berry patches. They're antagonistic even when
you just simply decide you're going to go camping. They have their spot in the world and they don't want you in it. What was your next encounter with these things? The fun one because we didn't expect it to happen. I was on the Jackson County Wolf Committee here we had a wolf in June of twenty sixteen. The killed sheep and go literally in the Asceland city limits. I thought I knew where he was headed. So I took one of my bigfoot and buddies, Tommy, and a friend of mine, Jason,
who had thermal equipment. I didn't have it, Jason had it. I said, we're going to go look for a wolf. So we went into the area where I believe the wolf was. I started making a wolf house, by the way earlier I did the Columbiana County. You can tell the difference between a wolfhouse and a bigfoot how in a blank because they don't sound anything close. So we go up in the mountains. I start making wolf house, but we're hearing a response coming to the northeast from us that we
can hear something, we just can't make out what it is. And I keep asking Tommy, you had a lot of experience out and about and with me. I go bigfoot or wolf and he goes, I can't tell. He goes, but something is definitely northeast of us, and I went okay, So we jump in the truck. We go up. We get to a different position and a little bit on the crest of this hill, and
I'm going, this probably will be a better spot to call from. I let those with three wolf howls an immediate response to the northeast, but again just far enough out that we can't really tell for sure what it is. And I told the guys that said, okay, let's get back in the truck. We're going to close distance on this thing. So I got way to the northeast, found this spot. Stop, get out, wolf howl. No response at all now, and I'm like, that's a bummer.
So we're standing at the back of the truck and we're talking, and all of a sudden, I see Tommy and Jason look to our southwest and do the RCA dog what they go, get in and hear it. I go care what they go? Bul whistle? And then it did it again. And then I was like, oh, because again three o'clock in the morning, no human's up there at all. Definitely not an owl, Definitely not
a bird. That was a bigfoot whistle without any question. So I sent Tommy back to the west and he's looking to the south in the direction where we heard the whistle come from. Jason and I are watching him, and then all of a sudden I saw him do the bird dog go on point with his body language, and I told Tommy, I said, he's seeing one right now. I can tell you just by the way he's standing there looking and what's going on. Tommy double times it back to the truck and
he goes, I just saw one. I'm laughing. I go, yeah, I could tell he knew you did. And he goes, but it was peeking around tree and he goes and I saw some eyeshine and I go really, and he goes, yeah, blue, And I went okay, So I said, Jason, go with him, use your thermal see if you see anything. And then I moved to the southeast and there was this clearing. I thought the thing would move to the east. It didn't.
It went straight south, kept going south. I would go up the next day and find out if there was this big deep ravine all full of brush and rocks. And he knew there was no way we were coming in there. He got back in compared notes, I told Tommy, I said, oh, the really cool part was he didn't have to do anything. He whistled at us just to provoke the interaction, just to let us know he was there, just to screw with us. They do have a sense of
humor. They will do things to humans, I think at times, just knowing us, knowing how we respond to things in the dark. And then when all of a sudden he realized, oh, they're going to come after me. Okay, I pushed my joke too far, bailed and got out, but Tommy did get to see him at least, and I'm firmly convinced this type of behavior is definitely more of the boys teenage around twenty something,
just having fun and screwing around with people. That was so much fun because we never went out expecting to have a bigfoot encounter, and then lo and behold Bigfoot basically said hello and made sure we knew it was there. Yeah, that was a lot of fun, just because the unexpected nature of it.
That was the last thing I expected to have outpen. I'm curious about you mentioned it earlier, so I definitely want to go back there for a second about them being more than flesh and blood, because I am a very flesh and blood person when it comes to these things. I think they're probably some sort of an ape, but clearly I've talked to a lot of people who don't think that, so talk to me a little bit about other than them not being discovered, because I think I've talked about this on the show
before. I feel very much like you, we are out there looking. There's a lot of people in the woods trying to solve this mystery, so you think we would have definitive proof at this point. But I've had conversations with people in the past. Doctor Russ Jones has been on the show, and I've been on Doctor Russ's show, and we've talked about that before about how many people are really out there, full time boots on the ground in
the woods looking for these things and it's a very small number. Helped me out here. Is it more about that that you feel like they're more than flesh and blood because we haven't fully discs over them as a discovered and recognized species, or do you think it's more what are your theories on what these
things might be if they're other than flesh and blood? Okay, this is where you start looking at all possibilities because until for sure everything is a possibility, you can't just automatically write something off because it may not agree with your personal bias. So I don't come into it with a bias, but I don't believe they're just simply an ape for all the reasons you enumerated. Now, there are a number of things that they do. Some of these things
I've witnessed self producing eyeshine. When I have seen eyeshine, I have never cast a light on them. It is always something I have seen looking and like I recounted that first experience seeing it, you see these kind of dim looking lights that look really out of place, and then all of a sudden you get the blink and then it's oh, okay, okay that. Yeah. A number of creatures on Earth that can do self produced eyeshine, but
they live in caves and they live in the deep seas. This would be the only terrestrial or mostly terrestrial creature I'm aware of that will have that to that capability. They also produce infrasound, while other things do that. Again, to find out they're doing it, that came through sound analysis that people
have done and suddenly discovered spectrums they could see sounds being produced. This is another reason though, why howling was never going to work for them, because when you're trying to do the long drawn out how what they are also producing at the same time as infrasound when they hear those howls and there's no infrasound behind it, and it doesn't have the carry and sustain that they do make
the woods ring. I don't care how good I do it. Maybe if I'm in a real canyony area with a lot of echo, I can get close to having that same ring quality. But I've never heard a human ever get it and get it right. So when you watch the TV shows and you hear vocalizations every single time, I'm convinced that was somebody going, all right, humans, we got these morons everybody. They're letting everybody know. And you notice nothing ever happens once those vocalizations started. It just that's it.
It's game over. What I basically learned is their communication pattern, which is far more advanced than ours, because they do it in any number of ways. You have to be beyond just mammal could produce some of that, meaning, the telepathy, that kind of thing that would be beyond the realm. The repeated stories about them seemingly to have slipped to another dimension. The native spoke of that long before white people suddenly out in the woods going It's
like the thing just disappeared right in front of me. Sometimes they just simply stop moving, or is it true? I have followed trackways in the woods that just suddenly stopped for no reason at all. It shouldn't have stopped. The soil straight didn't change. Why did the tracks just suddenly? That's it into the line, like this thing just disappeared from the earth. Okay, the sounds that they make. Scott has talked about this, he's still talking
about it right now. And our town halls were doing They had a friend of theirs analyze it, and he said, whatever is making that sound of a recording he got in northeastern Oregon. He said, that thing's got more vocal cord folds than a human has two. This thing has at least three, if not more. So you combine all of this, and now I'm going to get to this point. Grew up in a religious household, grew up in churches, spent a lot of time being educated in parochial schools.
I know about what happened in Revelation, and it talked about the conflict with Lucifer and his followers in heaven. There was a war in Heaven and Lucifer and his followers were cast out down here. According to the account of what happened, basically, you had these fallen angels roaming the earth. They start encountering. If you're going to be believing in God, which I happen to do, you're going to believe the account of creation. They start encountering these
humans. Well, Melpa Ketchum's original DNA findings may have made a lot of people laugh, It didn't make me laugh because I have a friend of mine who's a pastor here in Medford, who had an encounter with them. He came back out of that going these are Nephilim, and Nephalom is the name
of those fallen angels cast out of heaven with Lucifer. So when Melba's DNA comes out and says we've got human in here, but there's something else, I start thinking about multiple vocal cords, trackways that just seemingly disappear with no problem. I shine self produced. Anything's on the table. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll throw the hypothesis out that what we are probably dealing with. And doctor Jeff agrees with at least part of this. Really commented hybrid with Nephilim.
Because the early humans pre Noah's flood were much bigger than us. We know that they also lived much longer than we did, methusla a thousand years. And here's something else I can't get away from. In the show Alaska Triangle, they talked about finding these human remains, only they referred to them as the giants. These bones out in the islands in the Aleutians, in spots in interior Alaska that represent humans that would have been fifteen feet tall.
Then they go on in Alaska Triangle talk about how people are reporting seeing these to these days. I'm skeptical about that. I've never heard anybody credible speak to that and claim that they saw that. Obviously, we're getting a lot more bigfoot reports out of Alaska out because more people are looking that way.
It makes sense. But the giants thing for where they found these I began to wonder, Okay, if you believe Noah's flood happened, and there were humans that died and perished in the flood, maybe these are remains of those pre flood humans. You get those pre flood humans with their larger sizes, you get that hybridization with Nephelin. Now you got something that I think would be fully capable of doing everything we see these things do, and would also
help explain why we're not any closer. We're not capturing them, we're not closing in on them, because they're far smarter. Whatever they are, they're far smarter than we are. We are victims of our own human ego and hubris believing we're the smartest, most dominant things on this planet. And I no longer believe that you mentioned the town halls. Do you have anything else going on that you want to tell the people about before we get out of
here. Scott and I are going to be doing a town hall coming up in Klamath Falls, Oregon at the Klymouth County Fairgrounds a week from Saturday, So that is going to be the sixteenth, I believe, Saturday the sixteenth in Klimath Falls. I'm going to be reaching out to the people with Confederated Tribes of the Klamath because they're reservation in Klamath County, unbelievable history of inns and things going on. They hold a very deep spiritual connection with them.
The tribes that I have talked to here locally to us, the Urus and the Hoopahs, they will say that Bigfoot has been around since they have been people, and when they say that since we have been people, that means since the tribe has begun. There you have it, folks, Greg, I've had a blast talking to you. Thank you so much for coming on and telling your experiences of my pleasure. And I'm glad we finally got hooked
up on this. Like I said down the road, when I get my own thing going, believe me, I'll return the favor and have you on because you got to listen to me for about an hour. I'd like to talk to you and talk about things that have topped up with you, either talking to guests or maybe even out in the field. They say you don't lot a go, but you can't stay inside stasie chart this chart, that chart everything calling right back, crying back, joy from me, joy,
stay right, come in right away. Still still says, says, still stout sasstsssssssss
