Man, Hey doing, I am good man. I'm glad to have you on the show. Let's get right into it. Let's talk about, first and foremost, what got you interested in Bigfoot? To begin with, when I was a kid, I saw Hiderson gim One's film and them start job

ralling shows Cryptis in general. When I was I don't know, seven or eight years old, I saw a giant black bird one day flying I was playing out in the woods. I always played out in the woods when I was a kid. This is giant blackbird flying around. It wasn't a buzzer and it was way bigger than the buzzard. I don't know what it was anyway, that got me interested in cryptis and growing up. I used to hear pathers screaming everything just about every evening about just dark going up around here.

And we were always told by Wildlife's fisheries and they weren't around here. And then I've actually saw crossing the road. I know they're around here. They've always they was back in the late seventy early eighties. They've always been around here. There's a lot of stuff around here. I trapped for years, bobcasts and foxes. You don't ever hardly see that stuff running around on the road, but it's here. It's all kind of animals in the woods

you don't ever see. One day, me and my daddy was sitting on the back porch. This was probably in I don't know, twenty ten, somewhere around there. We're sitting on the back fort one evening and we heard two woops. He looked at me and he said, what was that. I said, I don't know, but it sounded like the bigfoot woops that I've heard since then on the other on lodcasts. So a couple of years later, my wife and I were sitting in the backyard. He was in

the all of the year. We were sitting there. We had a fire

built. We were sitting back there around the fire just to joy even and I got up put some more wood on the fire, and I looked over the top of our house to the front and there's this blue or just floating across the yard, just outside of the baseball and it was about, I don't know, it was about street top tall, and it wasn't moving very fast, but it was going on a pretty much straight line out of the southeast going to the northwest, and it just floating over, floating right over

where we were sitting, and we watched it till it was out of sight, but didn't make any noise. That's the weirdest thing. What was that my wife. She told me he had a big foot sighting one time, just a crossing the road. They was back in the eighty I lost her in sixenty eighteen. But anyway, she was always very sensitive, like paranormal kind of stuff, I guess you would say. But she always told me

that she felt like somebody was watching it. Not all the time, but sometimes there would be periods of time, like she'd be out in the yard working or whatever, and she'd say, I felt like somebody's watching me. I don't know. I didn't feel it, but I took her words for it. But I couldn't never find anybody. And then just June of last year, I was coming off work one day. I live on a gravel road out in the woods, a couple miles out in the woods, and

I turned off on my gravel road. And when we turn off on my road, it makes a kind of a left hand curve and then it goes up the hill. And I was making that curve and going up that hill, and just as I got to the top of the hill, I saw the only thing I could tell you, it was a big foot. It was probably about I don't know, a dozen foot tall, maybe deciding on it last year a couple of seconds because it was already in the road, so I'm very wide. It's plantation firings on both sides of the road.

It's real thick. They're probably, I don't know, about twenty something tall now, maybe because a lot of game trails there. There's a lot of deer right here. It was walking across the road. I don't know whether male or female. All I saw was from the side and back. It didn't ever turn around or look at me or nothing. But when I got was coming up the hill and I saw him, I wasn't going very fast. I just stopped and it took I don't know too a three step,

and it was going into that thicket there. It was a kind of a reddish brown color by the color of far and straw. I just say, about seven foot tall, pretty muscular. That was it. And I got there and thought about it for a few minutes. I finally went on home the next day. I got thinking about it. I wanted to win back up there and to look for tracks or anything, but it was real dry.

I couldn't find any tracks or nothing, and I didn't wander off into the thicket there I can't hardly get through that mess, but I didn't find anything any kind of ever that same thing, just what I saw. I noticed in your email you said you reported it to the BFRO. Did you ever hear back from them or did they ever follow up and ask you any questions about your sighting. No, I've never heard that fact from them that, as far as I know, it's still not on their site. It

makes me wondering. I mean, the other siding's just been around here and been reported and not show up. I don't know why, but yeah, I reported it the next week. Yeah, it's interesting to me because it is a Class A siding, or what they would classify under their guidelines, is a Class A siding, and that's a pretty big deal for people to actually see these things. And there's a ton of stuff like you and your

dad heard the whoops and other things that happens. Not a ton, but more commonly you get those kind of reports than you do somebody actually seeing one of these things. So I'm a little confused as to why they wouldn't at least follow up and ask you some follow up questions, because I've interview people recently who didn't see one just had some other experience like slapping on the side of their house and stuff, and they got a follow up call and sometimes

two with three follow up calls, and they were very diligent. And I guess it's like everything else. I think the BFRO has different people in different regions that investigate these things, and it's just like everything else. It's just like your police department. You can call nine one one today and get Officer Joe on the spot, and then the officer that's working the beat two days from now may not be the exact same. So I get that in some

way. But that really stuck out to me when I read your email was that you reported it and they never even followed up, which is weird. I don't know that it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to try to report it again, because I think it's important that it get onto the website. I may even forward on your citing it to like the Bigfoot Mapping project,

so at least is documented somewhere. Because I have talked to people from Louisiana in the past, and a couple of times when I talked to people in Louisiana, I don't know what it is about your state, but there

were some really aggressive encounters. One of the first people I ever talked to was probably three years ago, and they had a hunting dog get basically mauled and killed right in front of them by what they think is a bigfoot because they threw it about twenty five feet over their head out of the woods. I don't know what else would do that. A bear can't pick a dog

up and throw it. Things can pick things up in their mouth, but this was a very large dog, and it was just a really aggressive encounter, and it was I don't know where exactly you are in Louisiana, but it was in the same state. I lived in northwest part of Lucian. I'm forty miles from the Staban River, East Texas. I know they get a lot of sidings over there. I lived between the Red River and the

Saban River. I was wondering looking back on the whoops that you and your dad heard on the porch and just in general growing up, was bigfoot on your radar? Was it something that people in that area talked about. Was it something you and your family, even your dad, was familiar with before you started hearing things, And obviously it culminated with your sighting not too long ago. Was Bigfoot on your radar before any of that stuff happened to me.

When I saw the Patterson Demlin failed when I was a kid, I was like, that's the real random not around here. They lived up in North California and Washington, Oregon. They didn't live around here, and I grew up. I stayed in the woods growing up. I don't hunt or trap or nothing like I used to, but I still stay in the woods. There were chanced I get just hiking, but no, I never had any idea they were around here. I've heard just two or three people even

mentioned a big foot having a siding around here. I know there's not that many on the BFRO website, but one of the one that is though there, is not too far from where I live. It makes you wonder maybe they're not on there because they're not getting properly documented when people are telling their encounters to the BFRO. And I'm not trying to beat up on the BFR, Like I said, they filled a lot of encounters, and there's a lot of moving parts, and there's a lot of things that could and can

always go wrong when you're dealing with the database or something like that. I think it would be worth at least trying to re report yours and I don't know, I mean, and be able to look around and see if I can figure out who might be responsible for your area, and would follow up with that because I think it's something that needs to be documented. That's one of the main reasons I wanted to get you on the show was to document

your encounter because it's important. When you saw this thing, what was going through your mind? Is this thing was walking across the road. Did you immediately identify, Oh shit, that's a bigfoot or was there something else going on your mind? Did you doubt yourself and think, oh man, was that a dude in a suit? Or did you know exactly what you were looking at the time. I froze, basically, and to see the thing,

that's all it could be. We don't have bears around here. We're just starting to get bears back around here, but we don't really have bears around here. I don't think bears would be that tall. And it wasn't black. It was like a reddish broil about the teller parents drawn. I've ever seen a bear that color. It was cover hair, really long hair. Well, I said, I don't want to last decided or lasted five stations to the most. But no, I knew when I saw it,

I was like, dang, that's the big book. What's they doing here? I've lived here my entire life, I said, seven years in the Navy. But other than that, I've lived here my entire life. Never want cross my mind if there was anything like that around here. Like I said, I drapped a lot. I've never seen any tracks. I've never had anything weird like that happened to me in the woods, like being pased out or walve cards or anything like that. Now. I know a couple

of guys that have been pased out. They told me they were, But personally myself, I never have. And like I say, my wife when she was still here a lot of times like there's somebody watching. Other than that, No, I never thought it was Facebook. I definitely hate to hear that you lost your wife. My condolences. I know that's a tough thing. I'm curious what made her share her story with you when she did. Was it something that she held on for a long amount of time.

Is it something she had told other people or was it something that she kept herself and she only told you. I don't think she shared it with very many people. We were going down the road one day. Her siding was in wind Perish, east of here. We just happen to be going down this road one day. It's out in the woods and it's pretty deep wood. It's a big bottom, big creek bottom there, and it's got a bunch of bridges in it, and we were going through there. He just

told me, like, yeah. One day I was coming home from wherever. She said, it was about dark, almost dark, that she saw this guy come out of the woods on one side of the road and step over the bridge rail. She said, he just stepped over like it was not even there. She thought it was a man at first, and she kept getting closer and it was squirrel stations. It was in October when she had her sighting, and she thought it was somebody wearing like gray cover hows

or whatever. This was before everybody they had camouflage. Her siding was sucking the early eighties. Said she thought it was a man wearing some gray cover offs or something. But then the closest she got she could see that this thing was way bigger than a man, but just walked across the road while she's driving up to it, and then it just stepped over the bridge rail on the other side and walked down the little street down there, walked down

to the creek and just walked down into the woods. It scared her, and that's why she told me about that. We just have to be going through there one day. It's not a road we went down very often. We just have to be in that area. He told me about it. And I worked with a guy actually that lives in that area, and I mentioned it to him one day. Figured he's gonna laugh at me or whatever, but he said they swinging there recently, they swinging one crossing right in

there. That didn't like I say, that's the winter. Yeah, as you've been talking, James, I was actually on a website. It's not the BFRO, but it's a database that I have access to the pulls reports from the BFRO, and I only see one from the state of maybe a couple from no really one from the state of Louisiana that's on that database. So I'm gonna have to do some digging around and see if I can find

any more. In your area, or at least in the state, because I have a really hard time believing that's the only one that people have actually reported to some sort of a database. Obviously, just in a few minutes, we've been talking for fifteen minutes or so, and you've talked about at least three or four different sidings that should be somewhere for people to take a look at on a database, and they're just not there. So that's one

of the reasons I do this show. Man. I'm trying to document as many cases as I can where people have encounters with these things in the Southeastern United States because they're just really lacking. I just really wished I knew why, because I have talked to a ton of people that have come on the show, and I think a lot of it has to do with some of the people that come on the show. Unlike you don't reach out to the

BFRO and they don't tell anybody. They eventually will them on a show like this and have a conversation with somebody like me about it, but it never gets officially reported to anybody, so it doesn't end up on a database. I think it really does a disservice because people are going out in the woods. I don't try to say these things are nefarious and they're out to kill everybody, or whatever the case may be. But if they are what I think, they are, a very large version of us, basically in some

shape form or fashion, and a lot of us are assholes. There's a lot of us who do a lot of crazy things to each other. And if I'm going out in the woods in a certain area, hunting or whatever the case may be, I'd just like to be aware of what's out there. It's almost like the DNR and whatever it's called. In the area wherever you're listening right now, they'll tell you there's no black panthers, or they'll tell you there's no big cats. They say that about North Carolina. They

say that there's no mountain lions and there's no big cats here. We've seen sign of them on our property, so I know they exist. I know they're out there. So I don't really understand why they're telling us that they don't exist or they're not in our area. Because they're dangerous, right, big cats will take you out exactly. So it's just like bear. They don't tell you there's no black bear. They'll tell you, there's plenty of

black bear, so why not treat everything the same? And again, I think it's just because when you're talking specifically about sasquats, so they don't take it seriously because they don't think they exist. But other things that people report, they could certainly keep on a database and let people know that they exist. Very much like your store. You started out talking about the cats that they tell you don't exist in your area. There they are exactly, and

I know people have same black cats. There's one cat that they don't even ever talk about, but they call it Daggerundi, and I've seen one of those, and they can have different color pass They're about the size of a bob cat, but they have shorter stock of your leg, and they have a long tail like a closer mountain lion chapter or whatever you want to call it. They have a long tail like that, and they have their head is real around. I ever see one, and I saw one. I

saw a good sight of good sight of one of them. I stopped at the stop sign this side in the woods, but I stopped at the stop sign and a four way crossing, and this thing walked across the It didn't really walk. It strotted across the road right in front of me, and I was like, what is that? And I had to do some research on line to figure out what that was because it was a big as a bobcat. It wasn't as big as amount lion, but it was a big

larger cat. It wasn't a housecat, and it had that funny shaked head and that long tail. And then I got to reading about it. And they're from South America, but in the thirties they brought a lot of them to Florida for some reason. I don't remember the reason why. I think it was in the thirties. It brought a bust up them to Florida. That's what almost one hundred years ago. So there's no reason why they couldn't

slowly migrate across the whole South. They stuff in those woods. Man, when I go in the woods, I'm ready for abody anything, see anything, because you never know. We got to play at rattlesnakes around here, and they're dangerous. You know what I'm playing. Everybody out there is danger and you got to keep your eyes though. I don't want to run into

a big foot. I was in my trug and I felt fairly safe, but I don't want to run up on one sitting on the deer stand because they are a large, that thing a little like he could just carry you apart. Yeah, I'm with you, man, I do not want to run into one of those things. I wouldn't mind seeing one very much like you did, from the safety of a vehicle, maybe going fifty miles an hour so I could slow down and take a good look and maybe even try to snap a photo. But outside of that, I do not want to

run into one of these things in the woods here. I just don't. I've talked to enough people who have seen them from very close up in deer stands. I've even heard stories. I didn't talk to the guy personally, but I've heard one story in particular of a deer hunter that was in a stand and this thing walked up and basically grabbed his cooler. I think that was sitting there, and that's way too close for when you talk to hunters

who are afraid with high powered rifles. Mind you, a hunter with a high powered rifle who is afraid to even bring their weapon up on one of these things. That just lets you know how big and how impressive these things are because hunters will shoot just about anything, right, That's what they do. They're out there to shoot things when they feel like the rifle that they have is no match for these things in any way, shape, form,

or fashion. That tells me all I need to know. If I'm out in the woodschair on my property, I don't have anything maybe but a shotgun with some buckshot, and or I'll carry a I have a compact Smith and Wesson MMP forty cow that I'll keep on my side. That's just going to piss it off. So I definitely don't want to run up on one of these things on a trail on my property, that's for sure. I've heard the stories about I had it in my soul and they looked too much like

the man. I don't know I would shoot one before I just stood there and got mauled. But somebody's gonna have to shoot one. I know a lot of people don't want to hear that. That's what's going to have to happen if somebody bring one in the body, the bfro and all that goes. I think that's what they do is important because other than a body, that's one of the only ways that they they're ever gonna be taken serious.

It's to have the statistics go along with it. And what they're doing over there, and what's that guy's name, Darby Yolka, I heard him on your show. What they're doing. I'm anxious to hear what what they come up with. But ever since I've seen the Patterson Giblin film when I was a kid, I knew they existed because that's the real anim even back then, before it was enhanced and all that, I never thought that was a fake. I'm sure there's a lot of fakes out there, but I never

thought that was a fake. I hope one day in our lifetime that we can answer this question. I'm definitely right there with you, man. I'm glad that you were one hundred percent on the Patterson Giblin film. If you've listened to me long enough, I've went back and forth so many times, and I finally have come down to, Yeah, it's a real thing. I believe the film is a real Sasquatch. Let me ask you this.

I don't get this opportunity a lot with people who have had You were basically within fifty feet of this thing that has seen the Patterson Gimlin film and you've seen one of these things walk across the road. How did it compare to Patty? Was it similar as far as build and movement? Was it what you expected given the fact that Patty is basically the only thing that you've seen that you really considered to be real. How did it compare and was it

what you were expecting compared to Patty? I wouldn't expecting anything, but yeah, it was real. Pose maybe a little thinner, but other than that. Yeah, like I saying, I couldn't tell you whether it was the male or female. I never saw a face. All I saw it was something like side in the back, But yeah, it was real somewhere the headshake, the note neck, just the way it walked, I said,

say, the maybe three or four steps before it was gone. But yeah, this thing was pretty much the same, probably different as much as two different people would you know, walking Basically, Yeah, it was pretty much the same. James. I really appreciate you coming on and sharing your story. Man, I've had a blast talking to you. I appreciate you listening to it because when being far Oh never got back with me, and I

still have and I'll try them again. But it made me a little bit I won't say mad, but concerned because, like I say, how many other stories, how many other accounts have they not reported? And I think what they do is important. They're the ones that are supposed to be gathering the statistics of if they're gonna put this stuff out there. To do that, they need to do it, you know what I mean. I definitely agree. I had a good time talking to you too. I appreciate you

call them in. Let me tell my story. Yes, sir, that's what I'm here for. That's my job. I appreciate you coming on and sharing your story, and stay tuned for more Sasquatch out to see. We'll be right back after these messages. I want to welcome my guests to the show. It is Elliott from Colorado. Welcome to the show, Eliott. I'm glad that you're here. We've been emailing back and forth and talking about

some of the things that have been going on with you. Before we get into your experience, let's talk a little bit about what got you interested in the subject of Bigfoot and sasquatch in the first place. Me and my grandma and grandpa and my older brother. We would always go up to the mountains and we'd tell made up Bigfoot stories, usually something silly, until we found a podcast named Sasquatch Chronicles. My mom listened to all of that, so

then she showed me your podcasts. So I started listening to your podcast and that really got me into Bigfoot or Sasquatch. What is it that you like about the show? Is it all about the encounters? Do you enjoy the encounters? What kind of stuff do you like to consume when it comes to Bigfoot? I like hearing about other people's stories because I know I'm never gonna see it or am I. I don't really know, but it really just makes my adrone pump, So I watch it for that. Gotcha? So

you like the some more scary stories? Is that what I'm hearing you say? You like the ones that are well? Okay, I got you. Did you listen to the show that dropped today? No, you have got to listen to Fred's story that happened today on the show. It was one of the scariest stories I've ever heard from Alaska. He and his cousin and one of the elders from his tribe. He's a Native American key and his elder and his cousin were basically pinned down. Are you familiar with Ape Kenyon?

Have you ever heard about the Ape Canyon story? No, I don't think, so got to look into Ape Kenyon. I've got a couple of cool episodes about Ape Kenyan needed to check out. But it's very similar to that. They're pinned down in this cabin and he had to end up shooting his way out to get away from this group of sasquats. Oh yeah, definitely sounds like a story you would be interested in, my friend. So

let's talk about your experiences. I know we're not going to talk about Bigfoot, but you had an experience that I thought was very interesting and I wanted to share with people. Why don't you talk a little bit about give us the background on what you were doing, where you were, and what happened to you. My siblings wanted to go play with their friends. My mom sent me over to make sure they weren't missed behaving while they were there.

So as they were walking across the street to their house, I stopped on the sidewalk started bedding my cat, and my friend over here was sitting there with me left for a moment, and that's when it happened. Oh, there's a little clearing down our road, and just the white light came out of there and blew out of existence in a few seconds. Was it an orb that you were seeing? Was it like a flashlight? Describe a little

bit what the light looked like and what it was doing. It was moving slowly up, but yeah, it was in white glowing orb and when it got to the top, it stayed there free for a few seconds. It just shrows me up. I was so scared in the instance, I didn't know what was happening, so I just sat there staring at it, and I couldn't move until it lasted off to the left. And that was about the entire encounter until my friend came back and was like, did you see

that? Or was that just me? So your friend saw what you saw too? Yeah? Yeah, have you heard anybody? I've done shows in the past, have done entire shows talking about orbs. Have you listened to any of those episodes? Yeah? Was it similar to what those people describe? And having listened to those and now seen one yourself, have you got opinions on maybe what these orbs are and do you think it's a lot of questions. A lot of people, if you listen to the show, people

think they have something to do with Bigfoot. Maybe Bigfoot are able to turn into orbs. Where are you on all that stuff? What do you think the orbs might be? And do you think they have any connection with Bigfoot? Maybe? But what I personally think is that there's something demonic, because there's a quite a few things that happen down there, like strange giant bangs or loud cracking noises, which is confusing because it's not like a big forest

area. It's just a small little tree clearing. I gotcha. It's hard to say with the orbs, man, I think I've always felt that orbs were something I have in history with orbs myself. I don't really talk about that a lot on the show. Oh, but I've had several instances where I've been places. One was my in law's house back in Georgia. They've since sold that house many years ago and moved on, but I used to

get really creeped out when i'd go in that house. I'd have these really bad feelings that something was watching me, and I would not go in the basement. I'm a grown man, and I would have a hard time going down to the basement because if you've ever had that feeling of being in a basement or going down the stairs and you just feel like you're walking into this

wall of something ominous and scary. I used to get that feeling a lot in that house, and if I had to go down the basement, I would run up the stairs because I would feel like something was right behind me trying to get me. It was like something out of a horror movie. But in that house, we had a couple of photos taken and I've never really shared them publicly. I've shared them with a couple of people. I think the lady that came on the show that had a bunch of orbs and

had recorded a bunch of orbs. This was probably last year or a year before last, when I had her on the show. I think I sent her one photo. It's a family photo. We're all sitting on the huge sectional and there are tons of these They look like balls of light all around my head. Now there's probably ten people in this photo, and the only

place that the orbs are right in my face and around my head. So I've always had this little I don't know, it's this weird connection to or this weird I don't know what the word would be, other than maybe connection or some kind of something going on with orbs as far as I'm concerned. We've had another situation. We went to Historic Virginia and we did a couple

of ghost tours in Virginia. I was standing talking to one of the guys that was running one of these tours one night again takes a photograph of just me and him talking. As soon as I look at the photograph, there's this huge ORB right next to my head. I don't know what it is. Man. I think there's something to it. I think I'm tracking with you. I think there might be something to do with spirits. I don't know about demonic. I think there's spirits of some sort. Nonetheless, I've

even had people on the show. I had one particular guy from Tennessee tell me that he had an orb float down. They were on a Bigfoot investigation, and I don't know if you heard this episode, it was Darrel from

Tennessee. That's some really wild experiences. But he's talking about this big orb that floated down as he and this other guy were waiting on these sasquatches that they felt were around them, and the orb turned into a possum, which I thought was funny, but at the same time it was really strange. He tells me that on the show. I know what you're gonna say before I say this, and it seems to be really weird, and it's really weird to me to even say it out loud. But this orb turned into

a possum, So I don't know. Man, orbs are fascinating to me. Yeah, it strikes a fear in me. When you see it, you like freeze and there's this massive fear flowing there. You yeah, because it's like you're seeing something you're not supposed to see, that's not supposed to be there. It's a really strange thing. It's almost like having a sasquatch siding. Are any of your other friends or family do they talk about sasquatch in that area? Have you heard stories of sidings in your area? No,

honestly, not really. Like the only trees around are this little caring that I was talking about. It's nowhere for him time. Yeah. The other four planks just full of homeless. I gotta ask you Man, do you have a favorite episode so far of the show, any story that it's stuck out to you and all the ones that you've listened to that you've enjoyed the most. It was, honestly that possible one. It was one of the first ones I heard. Very cool. Yeah, that's definitely one of

my favorites. Darryl sticks out. I think we're actually going to get him back on because he's had a couple of sightings in the last few months actually when he's been out doing research, So we're going to get him back on the show and talk some more about it. Who knows, there may be another orb that turned into something. Maybe this one turned into a raccoon. I don't know. Should be interesting to see. I have another story,

but it's not my personal experience. It's actually a friend of ours who got it. He's an adult, he's a Native American. They would always put meat out in front of their little forest area. It would always go missing until they didn't seed it, and it just when a rampage broke something. Never saw what it was, but that was it. Interesting stuff, man. I appreciate you coming on Elliott and sharing your experience hanging out with us man've had a blast talking to you. Lucky THI
