Hey, everybody, this is Left Striving Yes, yes, I know aka Survivor Man, and you're listening to Brian on Sasquatch Odyssey. Then welcome back to Sasquatch Odyssey. Thank you so much for clicking play. It is Thursday. I hope you guys have had a great week. We have an amazing show lined up for you. But as always, I want to start by inviting you. If you've had an encounter and you'd like to be on the show, shoot me an email and get me a Brian appearing on Myworldproductions dot

com. Get head over to the website, check it out, become a member there and help support the show. I went back into the archives and pulled out an episode that I did back in twenty twenty one. This was originally episode Ode nine on the show and it aired on March eleventh of twenty twenty one, and I had Mike from Kentucky on and he had a bigfoot experience with his family while out fishing in the land between the Lakes and Kentucky.

I recently interviewed Mike again because he's had other experiences that have happened to him over the last couple of years. That show's actually going to air tomorrow. As you listen to this, it'll be out on Friday. You'll get to hear Mike's recent encounters. But I wanted to go back and remaster this audio and share this because it was a really cool experience that he had with his wife and his daughters while they were out just having a day on the

lake. I've included something that I didn't do in the original episode here, and I've got the audio that Charlie Raymond from the Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization went out and did an investigation after he heard Mike's experience, and I've included that audio. It's about twelve or thirteen minutes in here. You'll hear a couple of minutes of audio that Charlie captured, and if you want to see the entire video for that, I will have Charlie's video linked on our blog.

So head over to Paranorworldproductions dot com check out the sasquatch Ota see blog at the top of the page, and you can see the full video of Mike recounting his experience to Charlie, and then Charlie and Brent going out and doing their investigation make sure you go over and check that out. It's a pretty interesting video. But enough of that, I know you guys are ready to

get into it. Let's hop into the time machine and head back to March of twenty twenty one, and you guys sit back, relax and enjoy the show. Welcome to the show, Mike. Thank you absolutely man. It's my pleasure. I'm glad to have you here and I'm excited to hear your stories. Tell us what you were doing and tell us what happened out there. Man, we were fishing. I'm an average fisherman and it's been a

lifelong thing. And actually the day before the fighting was the first time my wife and I and my shoe young daughters had been out since the pandemic. We had such a great day, even though the weather forecast was pretty bad. The next day we decided to get on out and try it again and had to find a spot where the wind wasn't blowing and there weren't three foot swells, and so went to a pretty remote area and we're going to try to get out and fish and swim and have a good day. But it

wasn't happening there either. We found a spot where we could build a campfire and cook some hot dog. That's when we had our experience. It's changed my whole perfective. I can only imagine, man, what led up to the actual sighting. Okay, so where we pulled the boat up on a small I'm talking mattress size spot where we might get just build a fire and

stand. And actually my wife and my young six year old daughter stayed in the boat, and then I had a sixteen year old daughter, and then we actually had an infant with us, so the infant, my young daughter and my wife stayed in the boat and my oldest daughter got out with me. The day before, we'd been on a big open sandbar on the main lake and just they were running around. But this was pretty confined. We were just gonna make some hot dogs, basically, build a little campfire,

eat and go back out in the boat, probably go home. We cooked the hot dogs, and while I was cooking them, so we were up against a ridge line. So I don't know how familiar you were the audiences. With a lake, there's a little shore and then the bay goes up maybe about three or four feet with the water level fluctuates, and then he goes on up the hill, probably about one hundred feet up into the woods. As I'm cooking, I had my back to the hill and the woods.

I heard people walking, and I even said to my wife and my daughter, but it was pretty remote. It was a two mile drive into this place on one road, and we didn't meet anybody. There was nobody else there. There was no hiking trails, so I just heard walking and I told my family be on the lookout. I think I hear some people

hiking up there. So we cooked the hot dogs, ate the hot dogs, and made the decision just to get on out of there, and I was fixing to push the boat off and we heard a tree knock and everybody looked. My daughter looked at me. My sixteen year old said, what is that dat? And I said it was probably those kids and those hikers messing with this. But they also say Bigfoot does this, and I just said it with a chuckle because I was skeptical. But I've seen finding Bigfoot

in some of these shows. So I just looked down and there's a hand sized stick there, and I had the boat tied up to the tree, so I just took a knock and immediately from about one hundred yards at the most. In a different direction down the shoreline came another knock, and at that time it gets a little more serious. But I I still think, because I thought I heard multiple people walking that it's just kids messing with So they all look and they laughed, and I said, you know what,

let's just dive back slow and look up there. And I'm fully expecting the three people just goofing around, but man right down the bank and I look up in this little inlet, the pilin. It's coming over the trees, and there's a spot where it's coming through. It was pretty thick, the forelage and the leaves already out, but there's a spot where the sun was

hitting and so I just looked there and standing there with bigfoot. I'll finish the story, but I later on called investigators and they came in with a range finder and we were about sixty yards away. It's standing there but not white, up against the tree, but behind the bigger tree, and it's about seven to nine feet tall, reddish brown. I noticed that as the light hit it, the parts where the light hit the hair were lighter than the than the parts where it was more and I got a good look at

it. It was that moment of oh, my God, in my sin there and then I actually yelled an exit. If I yelled, holy, they're bigfoot. And I think it hurt me. I honestly think now in hindsight, if I'd have kept on going and it had just stood there still watching me. But as soon as I said that, it went behind the tree. So my wife and my daughter the force are saying where. And I'm having to turn the boat because we're up into this inlet now and there's

some logs and some rocks. If I'm turning the boat, it goes the opposite direction. It ducks down into the bushes, and then I have to spend the boat again and it goes the other way, like he was purposely trying to go the opposite direction of us. And I made a final spin. When I say turned, I'm basically spinning in a circle. And I made a final spin, and it came down a little gully. And at this point it was about thirty eight yards ordin to this range behinder, and

it hunched over and pulled itself up a bank. I saw the palm of its hand when it got down in here where there wasn't a lot of light penetration. It was mostly brown, and it went up the hill and my sixteen year old they were never ever able to track it. This thing is

the fastest thing I've ever seen in the woods. I think even if I had a cell phone fixed on it, I don't know that I could have kept up and really tracked it. And we saw some trees shaking, and my sixteen year old daughter was able to see those, and then it disappeared over the ridge, we thought. And so I'm in shock. And we just put the boat in New Torahm with drifting, and we may have drifted twenty yards down the bank. And I actually the fisherman in me, this

is how hard court a fisherman I am. I wanted to just go across the cove, fish out of the boat. On the way back to the truck before we put the boat up. My wife and was already dead set one. But if I'm about to get the motor. My wife and daughters hear of this. They called it a guttural, frustrated scream. I didn't hear it. I had my head turned away from the direction of the scream, and they were looking back but it basically they looked at each other at

the same time and said, did you hear that? What was that? That was a screen? That was a growl. Let's get out of here. So we went back across the lake and put the boat up, and Man, I haven't looked at the woods the same ever since. I can only imagine, man, and you're a dedicated fisherman to see that and just continue to wear a hook like that. I got to give you problems for

that, buddy. It was way across. It was probably five six hundred yards across this cold so I would have been in the stay for a little bit of thing. I got you. So let's go back to the wood knock. I'm fascinated with the fact that you guys heard of wood knock. Then you've got this response, and then you're looking up at this sixty yards away is not that far at all. Go back to that. Did you

get a good look at the face? Yes? Since I shared my story, I came home, man, and I just I combed the internet looking for somebody to help me deal with this, because I didn't want to lie to myself and bury it. I wanted to come to grips with this that's helped me a lot. So the face was. The thing that I noticed was the eyes were very deep set. It was dark back in there where the eyes were. There was not very much hair on the forehead or the

cheeks. It was a hooded nose, more like a human than a gorilla. I've described it as a gorilla like texture, and in fact I drew a picture of it. One of the investigators I talked to said, hey, you need to write down as much as this draw a picture. So I used my daughter's craywns to color it, but I left the face in pencil. There was a place where the mouth was. I saw what you would say, it's a stereotypical Bigfoot shaped face, but it was so massive,

and I think I yelled, there's Bigfoot. The chest and the depth of the eyes or what really struck out. I could see a definite shape of the face. You'll see some that it's totally fur covered. This wasn't like this. If I could see the cheeks, the forehead and nose and around the mouth in a darker tone, not black like a gorilla toned, but not skin toned either. It was just darker than the surrounding furk. You said, you got to look at the hand on the thing. What

did the hand look like? And it's the same kind of thing. So when it was turning like it was reaching to pull it shelf up this grade. When I got back in there, it was pretty steep. It was down into a little creek and it was basically stepping up out of the creek up the hill. And it was the same kind of texture. I wasn't close enough to count the ridges on the palm or give it a palm reading or anything like that, but when it turned you could see that there was

a human light palm there. I could see between the fingers. It wasn't super shagging I described it. I don't know if you've ever seen the documentary of the Grizzly Man and he got named Timothy Treadwell went out and filmed Grizzly Bear for a year before he got eaten by one. But it's one of my favorite movies. And he got this wild footed of grizzly Bear. That's what I like in it too, even shorter hair, more uniform, and the way it reacted to the light just told me immediately, this is not

a suit. This is incredible so it was a hand. I've actually seen the documentary that you're talking about. I'm certainly getting the visual. Yeah, you said you called some investigators. Did they come out and take a look at the air. Did they find any physical evidence, footprints or anything like that. Oh? Yes, absolutely, That's what I was going to tell you in the info. And I had an experienced in a place in the Louisville ten years ago as a haunted hospital of Waverley Hills, in total skeptic.

But something happened to me and I realized I'm either going to have to, like I said, light of myself my whole life, or try to come to grip with this. And that was very much the same with Bigfoot. I'm not going to lie to myself my whole perspective on the woods. I'm forty nine, so I want to find some people that know about this. So a guy named Charlie Wyman runs the Kentucky dick Foot Research Organization called

me back at midnight and COVID put a damper on it. So this was maye, you can get out till September, and we went through the story. It's actually on his YouTube channel called the Beast of LBL was what the report is called. When we got up there to the top of the hill, he had another guy with him named Brent. We found a tree that was bent over. This is something that was new to me. I'd never experienced that. And Brent went right to this tree and said, look at

this. He told me, they don't know if it's territorial or navigation or what that. You look around and you realize this tree has been meant to grow this shape and on purpose. So they stayed that night. This is also on their investigation on YouTube. They stayed that night. I wasn't able

to stay with them. They got some response knocked, and they got some howls that they had analyzed, and a couple of them are almost I think seven hundred hertz, which is subblivately this magic number that nothing else can create. And tip for a big book. And I've got two microphones right here, right here, they are omni directional microphones hooked to this recorder and we're going to turn it on. So it's now recording back in the content of

four Shady something Shills Shall Hide. I don't know. There was some strange house. Yeah, there's some strange house in that for sure. I had my audio going here. I hope there was a lot of us that got me into one to go back out, and I have not been out at night by myself, but I started going out and I've gotten tracks. I've had another sighting since I've had some interactions. It's been incredible. It really helped me not think I was crazy. You're definitely not crazy, man.

That's one of the reasons that I started the show was I wanted to give people a place to come and tell their stories because people are seeing these things and all kinds of other things that they can't explain. People don't realize the PTSD that comes along with some of these encounters. It seems like your encounter was from a far enough distance that you felt safe and your family felt somewhat

safe. But that's not the case. And a lot of these encounters people are out there in the woods, and these things are really aggressive, yes,

and I believe that they have actually killed people. So it's very important to realize that when people have these types of encounters, there's some PTSD that comes along with that, and talking about it and having a safe space to talk about it is paramount in that at least in my opinion, I think you've got to be able to talk about it to start to deal with it. I think that's the best way you could have possibly handled it, in

my opinion. Yeah, absolutely, man, And honestly, I told the investigator for a while I wish I had an assault because I cannot go to the lake now without staring in the woods and wondering what's watching me. I can't stress enough how massive these things are, how fast they are, how intelligent I think they are. I haven't really felt, but I tell you what. I've made it a dedicated rule. When I'm out, if i'm by myself, I don't even try to interact. I just look for cracked.

I don't knock, I don't clap, I don't whistle. I'm with somebody, and we do that and I get a response back. We go away from that and let them come to us if they want to interact. Well, I'm telling you, if they want somebody, they got them. I think you're doing it exactly the way it should be. Because I worry about certain people that I've talked to, and I've said, look, you got to be careful out there, man. You're not the biggest, baddest

thing in the woods. You have to be careful when you're going out. We don't know what these wood knocks mean. It could be an aggressive thing to them. These whoops and these yells that people do in the woods, you don't know what you're doing. You could be ringing the dinner bell for all we know. I always caution people. It's not my place. I'm not anybody's father, but be careful out there. Yeah, absolutely, And I talked to these people. I'll reference to Grizzly Man again. That guy

was amazing for about thirteen years, basically petting wild grizzly bears. But that late part of that thirteenth year, you see what happened. A lot of people get on these sites and they're like, hey, cold weather, they're moving around more to find food. I didn't even go out in all this snow and freezing weather, because that's right. Wood is scarce in the winter,

and I don't want to be on the venue. I'm not under the impression these things are some fairytale, mythical guardian of the woods that want to interact with me. If anything, they're upset. They're wearing coaching on their habitat cutting their deer, forcing them to be secret deal. And like I

said, I had another experience I knew one with watching us. I took my son out and he heard it, and I'm convinced there's most of the time there's two of them, but he was looking in one direction, and I just knew they're talking to be one on the other ridgetop one hundred and one hundred and fifty yards away. It stepped out and stepped back down the hill and I saw it head and its arm and its shoulders, and it just walked down the hill and again probably between eight and nine and met tall.

And stay tuned for more sasquatch out to see. We'll be right back after these messages. Wow, that's huge. People don't realize how big even seven to eight feet is when you're talking about something that's bipedaling and that kind of girth that goes along with that until you've seen it or you've been near it. Are those the only encounters or sightings that you've had. Have you

had other things going on while you've been out in the woods. Oh yeah, Now we've got a spot, and I believe there's at least two of them. I've got one. He's got a sixteen and a half by six and a half and so sixteen and a half inches long six and a half inches to eight inches wide, depending on how you measure it trap. And the other one has a thirteen and a half by five and a half inches long. And we've found as many as eight of these footprints in a row

in a creek. I documented all. Of course, we've had some stuff thrown at us. I think it was thrown in our direction to divert us from the other one. I think they get on each side of you on these ridge tops. There was a night expedition with the BFRO and Charlie was a part of this, so he invited me to come speak. This looked back in October and we got to a spot and I had a guy with

me and we got down in an area and it just felt Furie. It's the only time I've felt like maybe I shouldn't be and you can feel it. It's one of the things you have to go out and experience. But man, it just got it got quiet. I've never really melt them a lot. I'm maybe convincing myself that they can excrete something and that they don't

just naturally smell. I've walked through this before, but it was one of the few times where all of a sudden we smell something, and as we're leaving and deciding to get out walk up this gravel road, we hear some commotion up at the base camp. Another one had walked across the road, and the guy that was sitting in our base camp got a great sighting of it. I felt that time like they were closing in around us and maybe

we're getting too curious about us, and we all felt that way. There was a group of stick Fellers. I've went back and forth on the smell. I think I was one of those people. Before I started doing the show and actually talking to people who have encountered these things multiple times, very few people mentioned the smell. I've got doctor Jeff Meldrim's coming up on the show next week, and I've got Ron moorehead coming on. I'm actually interviewing

him on Friday for Sunday shows. It's all speculation. I'm curious to hear what other people think, and most of the people that I've interviewed that has smelled the smell think that it's more than an environmental thing. It's just like a person who goes out and lives in the woods and doesn't take a shower, You're going to have some kind of smell depending on what environment you're in. Then I've heard the opposite the theories on they can secrete. It's something

that happens as a stress response or they're feeling threatened or whatever. Very interesting, man, any other weird encounters out in the woods other than eight to nine foot tall apes running around. I'll tell you what with this. And I'm on the fence with this stuff. But we've seen some light. The area is overland between the lakes. I don't know how familiar you are with Kentucky, but if you look on the map on the far western side you

can see it. There's two lakes and this area between it. Seventy thousand and eight, they ran thriving communities out when the Tennessee Valley Authority damn the Cumberland and Tennessee rivers to make this area. And so it's got a history of just some weird stuff. And I've been in there all my life. I don't know if it's UFOs, know what it is, but there's lights running around the wood. Describe what you're talking about, because you're definitely not

the first person to say that to me. What kind of lights are you seeing? Are you seeing something higher in the sky that are illuminated? Are there concentrated lights you see in orbs? I've actually got some pictures of some orbs that you associate with ghosts in the paranormal and spirit activity. Some real glowing, self contained. Most of them are dust in water vapor. Honestly,

most of what people call or are not really. But I've taken, in probably ten to fifteen years of doing paranormal stuff, two pictures of what I would consider a real, actual orb. These are not those we have a military base supposed to hear, which I think would maybe playing some stuff high in the sky. These things look like they're rolling through the woods, almost like a person. In fact, the last ones I saw, we went and checked it out, and I know where they were would have been

over a field. So where we were up on this ridgetop, it looked like they were like a headlamp. They looked like a headlamp, and the person I was with is, that's got to be hikers with headlamps. And there's three of them two are white. One kind of change from an orange to a white at times, and I should man that. The ridgetop learns right over there, let's walk over there, and then he realized, whoa, there's nothing but cornfield out there. So those things had to ben thirty

forty feet off the ground. And I honestly, I've never been threatened by them. They've never come to me. They always seem to either be watching you or just letting you know they're there and then move away. So I really don't pay much attention to them because I was seeing them even before addictip sit it. You would not believe the people that I talked to, not always, but particularly most people who have these things sasquatch pickfoot around their property.

And it's a constant not like a habituation site, but just a constant interaction with the people. Most of the time. It's not very pleasant. Without fail, when I ask these people, hey, have you seen anything else it's strange around the property. Have you seen any lights? Yeah, we've seen no lights. And then they start to talk about either a couple of people that I've interviewed recently have seen things that could have been whether they

are UFOs, or UAPs. They're unidentified aerial phenomenon, but it could be an alien ship, let's put it that way. And then they talk about these balls of light that are sometimes softball size, sometimes basketball size, beach ball size, orbs floating through the wool. And I've asked follow up questions and said, hey, do you think there's a correlation with this, because

I certainly don't know. It fascinates me, and it seems to be that they're out there a lot in association with right before seeing or having any encounter with Bigfoot or right after, and I say, hey, do you think there's some sort of correlation, And of course they don't know, but usually the answer is I don't see the orbs unless we're having some sort of activity with Sasquatch. Yeah, And I'm absolutely with you. I want to believe, and right now I do that it's a flesh and blood I believe maybe

the powers it has. I think it's like a magician that's really stilled, that can do something in front of you that you know is not real magic, but they're so good at it you believe in real magic. I believe Bigfoot is back good in the woods. But I tell you. I've got one area where I know they're living, and I go into this area the

same way every time. I do an owl call, because I'm like you, I don't know what I'm saying if I just howl at them, but I do an owl call let them know I'm here at the same spot. I don't go more than once in a two week period. But so I took a friend of mine in to cast the track of gotten and we walked around. And it always seems like I get the activity when I'm leaving, but on this occasion he wanted to stop. So instead of leaving, we

took a different route that I don't usually do. And then I thought I'd seen a track, and he decided to make a woot. And when he does this, we were right on top of a ridge. It was about dust. You could feel the footsteps. It was like a linebacker running through the brush. You could feel it. He looked at me. We peered over the ridge and there was nothing. And I still struggle with power is something in this big being that silent and disappearing. I mean, I had

my phone going, I was betting money. I was fixing to get the best big footputed ever. In the history of the world. You could feel it and it was just gone. So I've beliging to myself again, I got to leave the door open for this stuff until I come to grips with it. I'll be honest, man, I think you've got probably one of the more level heads of anybody that's had these types of encounters that actually goes and follows up. Here's the bottom line. If we don't know anything about

these things, right, everything we do is speculation. All the air quote researchers out there are just investigators. They're investigating the physical evidence that's left behind by clearly something that people are encountering. So to close your mind off and say, oh, it's just a big ape running around in the woods, then why are you doing what you're doing. Why are you trying to get video? Why are you trying to get audio? Why are you going out

knocking on trees and screaming like a banshee in the woods. Yeah, we just called it an ape and move on. And I think you really do a disservice to people like you, Frankly, who are out there searching franchiphors, in my opinion, in the best way possible with an open mind because I know there are people that I respect greatly that I've heard tell stories, and one of them is the survivor man Less Stroud. I'm actually having him on the show later this fall night. He has talked about on other shows

that he experienced mind speak with Sasquatch. I trust Less. I don't know him personally. We're not friends, we're not beer drinking buddies. But I know enough of him to know that he's not telling a lie. He truly believes that happened. And I can't wait to ask him that in person, because I don't know. That's really woo for a lot of people out there. You know, they say that's the wu part of Pooh on the woo

when it comes to Bigfoot. Yes, yeah, I even mentioned it to somebody I was talking with yesterday and I said, you know, it's like the BFRO. They won't even document a lot of the cases that people call in because they say, I saw lights before I saw Bigfoot, And there goes that spote in because that's too right. It wasn't just a big monkey breaking sticks. So we're not even going to talk about it. And I think that really does a disservice because people are seeing things that they can explain,

and who knows who's telling the truth. Yeah, I'm not thick. I'm open to the fact that I don't know, and I want to know. I tell you I've seen that. You know you with Ed and Lorraine, one the paranormal investigators that they did basically conjuring off of an Annabelle. There's an account of her actually speaking with a sasquat. I saved it on my computer when I was doing my research, to her speaking and connecting with one that had been injured and shot by a hundred I absolutely believe in them.

When the Catholic Church calls you to deal with stuff, I have no reason to not believe them. Again, I can't say I believe everything they did over here, but I don't believe that that's cool, man. I tell you what if you think of it. I actually, in my quest sent a video, and I know Jeff Mildram probably get thousands of emails. I actually sent this video of the footprint I got to his I believe it's Idaho State. I looked him up and send it to his school email it

just because I wanted him to check it. Out for me and just see is this a person, because I've seen some of his stuff. He's money. He can look at the best bake in the world and say, no, that's a human. If you want to send it to me, I will send it over to him, and then I'll follow up with them when we talk and see what he's got to say, because I'm sure it probably buried in some emails. Oh yeah, I know, I'm and I'm Mike

miff nobody and there's five billion of me. When it comes in, I'm interested because when I cast it, it was in some molof litter, but there's a great mid parcel break. But it looks like it's farther up the foot, especially when I cast it than it does in some of what the examples I've seen of his I didn't know if that was a sign of slipp it. I just I wanted his opinion on it, So I'll definitely I'll

shoot it. Do you, yes, send it over to me. Like I said, I'm interviewing him next week and his show will actually air. I think I'm putting it out next Friday or Sunday, one of those days. Wonderful, But yes, send it over to me, and I mention it to him when I talked to him. Good deal. It sounds like you've been doing some paranormal investigating for quite a while. You mentioned the haunted hospital. I'm very interested in the paranormal. I've had a UFO experience in

the past. I saw him when I was like sixteen, and wow. My mom and sister have lived in some haunted places, and I've actually caught some EVPs there myself. I'm not all about the cryptids. This show is specifically geared to Sasquatch, of course, but I open it up any and all experiences. So is there anything else you can share? The experiences you've had paranormally? Yeah? Man, this all seems to run together, and

I hesitate to connect them because I don't want to water down. I think believing in Bigfoot is easier read than been believing in a lot of ghosts and things. I'll just tell you I was totally skeptic. I didn't think people were lying. I don't think people are lying about Bigfoot in UFO. That's part of what kept my mind open. I don't think all these people are lying and risking their reputation and ridicule my ex wife wanted to go to this

Waverley Hills. It's haunted sanatorium and it's tuberculosis ward. About seventy thousand people died there, and so I did like I always did, I did no research. They said take a lot of batteries, talking about the battery drain

and the equipment malfunctions. So we bought actually a film camera and in rebel a digital camera, extra batteries, and I took a flashlight with We were seeing stuff on the tour and this was before it was real popular, so it was an eight person They were all my family members, and we got a personal tour for the night, about a four hour tour, and my ex wife was wanting to take a picture of this room where there's a nurse that passed away hung herself. So her camera wasn't working and it was the

cameras were messed up all night. I had to change the batteries in the parking lot and they will brand new batteries that I was still thinking, okay, this is coincidence. When the camera wouldn't work, the tour group had gone up, and so the tour guide said, hey, man, do you have a flashlight? And I said yes, sir, and he said, why don't you go on up the flight of stairs to the next level. I'll stay here with her till the camera starts working and we'll make sure

she gets a picture. And I said great. So I had the digital camera around my neck. And when you go through this stairwell, it's one of those with a hole all the way down the length of the building, so you've got a small step, a landing, small set of steps, and then you're on the next floor like you're seeing movies where you can look all the way down to the first flour. And I'm walking up the stairs and something grabbed that camera, pulled me to the rail and I caught myself

on the rail and pulled myself back. I immediately hit the camera to hit the flash on it to see what was on it. I hit two flashes. I took my flashlight. I looked all around. I caught my breath instead against the wall for probably a good minute. And when I walked upstairs, my sister in law at the time, Christina, I don't get rattled much, man. A lot of people say that, but I was a volunteer firefighter. I just don't get rattled and She looked at me and said,

what is wrong? And I said, look at my neck. There was an obvious red mark on my neck. Nobody in the stairwell, of course. And then when the weirdest thing was when I got home and plugged those pictures in. To this day, the only two digital pictures that I've had that, for lack of a better word, have not developed for those two that came up unrecognizable format is what it said on the black screen. I dold seek first in it. Man. I got to a point where

I I did some stuff for people that had issues at their home. I still help every now and then with stuff, but I'm pretty sensitive to that. My wife just calls it freaky. I live on a place. I've got a Confederate soldier buried in the grave yard right behind the house. The place I live had people on it since the eighteen forties. I've got a fireplace pre Civil War. There's some what we think are Indian burial mounds down

in the woods on my property by creek. Find artifacts all the time, and I'm pretty in tune with that to the point it's like the lights. It's just I think it's part of life. I think they're everywhere. I think there's all levels of them. I think there's good ones, bad ones. I think there's ones that are aware and know they're dead and know how to interact in that world. And I think there's some that are lost. And I'm still into that. The big Foot's kind of taking my focus here

since May. Yeah, Sasquats tends to do that to people. I was a cop for sixteen years. You didn't go around telling people you had a UFO experience when you were six because people look at you like you've got three heads when you're supposed to be out there, protecting and serving. It's fascinating thing in the world to me, and I've said this several times on the

show already, and I don't have any problems saying it. I don't take anybody's word or anybody's story with any more credibility based on what you do for a living. You could be a judge, be a liar, and a cheat and a drunk, just like anything else. Same thing with cops, firefighters, military guys and gals what There is a certain level of responsibility that comes with those types of jobs. It always fascinates me because it's like dog

man, for example. I don't know what to make of dog man sightings. I really don't need either. We're saying dog man because it's twenty twenty one, but it's the American werewolf in London. It's what we're talking about, right, We're talking about were wolves. We're talking about half men, half dog. People have these sightings all the time. There have been cops

that have shot these things, that have shot at these things. For a police police officer to pull their duty weapon and fire it, there has to be a whole lot of things that transpire before that happens. That's a serious thing. These police officers that have come forward and said, look I shot at dog man. Nothing good is going to come from that. Why would these guys tell these stories if they weren't true? Now what they're seeing, I don't know what to make of it. I think very much like you

said, these things are everywhere. People are seeing all kinds of different things. I talked to a guy last night that's going to be on a future episode that had a big foot encounter and he also saw what he calls a chupicabra in Mexico. He was hesitant to tell me the story because he thought again. He literally said, you know, I don't really want to tell you this story because I want there to be some credibility to the encounter that

I just told you about, because it's absolutely one hundred percent true. He saw sasquatch crossing a railroad track while he was working on the railroad, and then he tells me this chup oficabra story, and it was wild. But why would he tell a story that's not true? Even admitting that he's apprehensive about telling that he saw this crazy looking lizard like chup of cabra creature while he was visiting his ex wife's people in New Mexico, when he's afraid that

it's going to deter people from believing the story. He just told me about encounters with sasquads exactly, And it just fascinates me. Man. I am thankful that I get to do this show and talk to people like you and live vicariously through other people's stories. And clearly the show's doing well. People

enjoy these stories. The show's nothing without people like you. I appreciate and it helped me just as much because I'm dealing with it every day, trying to keep that open mind and it helped me to just connect with people that are a willing ear, that are believers, that reinforce what I'm doing,

what I'm seeing. So I appreciate it right back. Yeah, man, for every story that everybody sits and listens to the show, everybody who's listening to this right now, everybody that comes on here that makes it to the air, they're probably just as many that won't come on the air that talk to me. I've tried to make it through several interviews with people that have had encounters with Sasquatch, and they literally can't talk about it. They can't

even talk to me off the air with the recorder off. They get two minutes into the story or sometimes twenty seconds into the story and they're like, I can't. I'm sorry, Brian, Yeah, I just can't do it. And I feel for those people because I know that's genuine. I know it's real. I was a cop. My bullshit meter is like off the charts, so I know when somebody's bullshit me and when they're not. I'm going to have to put explicit on the show now on Apple Podcasts, but

I guess it'll be okay. Look, man, I really do appreciate you coming on the show. I've really enjoyed talking to you, and frankly, it sounds like you've probably got some experience because you've kept in your back pocket that you didn't want to share. So we may have to have you back for a round two to share some of those other paranormal experiences. We'll let the big Foot encounter soak in, and then maybe I'll have you back to

tell us some of those freaky paranormal experiences anytime. I really appreciate it. I can't thank you enough. I appreciate it, and I hope you have a great night. You too nice talking to you. They say you don't gotta go home, but you can't stay. I don't want to be out that job. Job jidday came bucking bags for joy, for me, joy staying right. You come in right away, steps steps, steps, side steps, talk about PSSST in state passes, in state assst USTs ps
