I am beyond excited to bring you guys this episode because it is the teaser for our brand new show that Wayne and I are doing together called That Bigfoot
Podcast. We launched the teaser for this show a couple of days back, and I wanted to post it over here for you guys that may not follow us on social media, so you may not know that we launched a brand new podcast. Tons of you guys have already downloaded and listened to the teaser on that Bigfoot podcast. You can get it anywhere you listen to podcast, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, any of the podcast apps. You can find the show there. People are really excited about the show. Wayne and I are
certainly excited about it. People have already asked me, what's the difference in this and Sasquatch Odyssey. The first huge difference is it's not about encounters. It's Wayne and I talking about some of the more serious questions that we have just about research in general. We're going to talk about hoaxers. We're gonna talk about paradolia. We're gonna get into the Bigfoot DNA conversation. We're going to talk about some old cases that people have made, some really really fantastical
claims. We're going to dig into those and we're gonna talk all about it. We will occasionally have guests on the show, but it's not going to be about encounters at all. It's a completely different show. It is definitely going to be an adult based show, so it is a more of an adult show. There will be some adult language, so just be aware of that if you've got little ones listening in the car. When you start tuning into the show. There won't be a ton of it, but it is
not your grandfather's Bigfoot podcast. This is going to be a brand new, fresh and inventive thing that we hope you guys enjoy as much as we do. We have done some cross promotion from other shows on this show and on Wayne's Paranormal Odyssey show. We are not going to post any of those episodes here, so the only place that you can find this show is by searching
that Bigfoot Podcast in your podcast app. Make sure you hit that follow button or that subscribe button, whichever it is, or wherever you listen to make sure that you don't miss any of the episodes. Currently the teaser is out, we're planning on dropping the first five episodes on October thirteenth, so make sure you hit that automatic download button so you don't miss anything as we drop
it into your feed. And after we drop those five initial episodes on October thirteenth, every week after that, we'll be posting a brand new episode every Friday, so make sure you hit those automatic downloads and follow the show so you don't miss anything. And last, but not least, we'd love to have your feedback, so make sure you follow that show at That Bigfoot Podcast on Instagram. And if there's a subject that you would like Wayne and I
to cover on the show, you can get us via email. My email is Brian at Paranormal World Productions dot com and Wayne's is Wayne at Paranormal World Productions dot com. We want you guys to be a part of the show. We're even probably going to do some live call in so you guys can call in and ask questions and be a part of the show yourself. But enough of that. I know you guys are ready to hear this teaser. I'm certainly ready to go, So I'm gonna let the music play. You
gotta sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. Hey, this is movie trailer voice guy and you're listening to Brian and Wayne on That big Foot Podcast. Hey, folks, and welcome to the very first episode of That big Foot Podcast. I am your host, Brian coming to you from the big Foot Bunker here in North Carolina, and my co host a Wayne hiding out lurking in the background like a red circle squatch up in Tennessee. What's up, Wayne, loved them red circles. What's going on at Sasports?
Central and North Carolina. Not much. As we record, we're hunkering down because it's running like hell outside, So I am in here, nice and dry recording our very first inaugural podcast on That Big Foot Podcast. I have been super excited about putting this together. Man. I am so glad we don't get to work together as much as I'd like to, and anytime we
get to do something together, I am stoked about it. And I am definitely stoked about this because I think it's going to be something different for both of us. Have you been as excited about the show as I have? Man, I can't tell you how excited I have been. Like you said, it's always fun getting to work together, especially you get to work with a friend. That's always fun. But I've been telling you and others that I wanted to do something different for a while now, but not your grandma's
typical podcast. We can be grown ups and talk about the shit that really bothers us in the big book community, because I don't think there's a podcast out there right now that does a whole lot of calling people out on their bullshit. And that's not to say that's what we're going to be doing. All the time, but it's not something that we're going to shy away from. Yeah, man, I'm stoked. I'm ready to get going with this
thing. Yeah me too, man. I think that's one of the things that has really bugged me on Sasquatch Odyssey recently, is you have to be very careful, right. I can call people out for hoaxing, and we're certainly going to talk about hoaxes. We're gonna get into some of that and
talk about that in future episodes of the show. But I think it's important because the one thing that I did in the past, and I've admitted it on my other shows and as a guest on another podcast, is you have to stick to the facts, right, And that's where I've gotten in trouble in the past myself, is going after the person and not necessarily the hoax
or whatever the evidence that people are putting out there. And I think that's something that we can definitely do in a way where people understand the points we're trying to make here on the show, and we're not really about beating people up, but if you're out there putting out bullshit, we need to call you out on your bullshit and say it's wrong. It's just something that needs to be addressed in the big Foot community because I think there's too many people
out there drinking the kool aid man and it really pisses me off. And one of the things that you and I've been going back and forth about it, and I'm sure we'll get into this in depth at one point in time or another on the show, is the following that these people have is amazing
to me. Right, you and I have been doing this for we've been podcasting longer than me, and we both have a really big audience, and we have a lot of people that are interested in what we're talking about on our other shows, but it's nothing like these people who put out some of
these hoaxes. And it just seems to me. You were texting me yesterday and we were going back and forth about Red Circle Squatches and some of the people out there that are perpetrating some of these hoaxes with videos and pictures and some of the bullshit that they're putting out on their YouTube channel. And they've got seventy five thousand subscribers or one hundred and fifty thousand subscribers, and it's happened to me personally, and I know you can probably talk about some of
this too. I have been guilty of giving some of these people, in my opinion, a platform because you have people on the show that share their experiences. We do primarily interview based shows outside of this one. And it happened to me recently. I had a guy on. It was either earlier this year or late last year, and this guy had four followers on his YouTube channel. He had no TikTok, he had no other real social media
and outlet for sharing his videos. And he came on and shared some of his experiences, and he sent me some video of some of the things he was recording. And by some of the things he's recording, I'm talking about literally trees blowing in the wind. And I posted one of those on my TikTok channel and I looked this morning. It's about three hundred and seventy five thousand views on my TikTok and I also looked at his I think he's posted
the same video on his TikTok channel. It's got like four hundred and fifty to five hundred thousand views. He now has about nineteen hundred subscribers on YouTube which is not killing it. But this guy's putting out videos every single day. And there are established podcasters out there who have been podcasting for eight or ten years, doing live shows every single week, bringing on great guests, talking about great topics in the Bigfoot community, who have less than a thousand
subscribers on their YouTube channel. So it seems to me the way to go is to put out bullshit, do some red circle squatches, and go film some trees and get a following in the Bigfoot community. Is that how you feel about it? Have you experienced that with people you've had on the show? How do we change that? Ran? That's what we need to be focused on, I believe, And it's not going to do it with one podcast like this that We're not gonna completely change the community. But that needs
to be our goal. I believe, because I mean, you hit it right on the head. It pisces me off. I've been putting out YouTube, doing a live interviews on YouTube since around twenty twenty. I've got almost twenty one hundred subscribers on YouTube. And you've got this guy that you're talking about that started with zero. He comes on your show with some bogus video and now he's got almost as many as I do, almost over not People don't understand the work that goes in to doing this. We're not out taking
pictures of the woodline and drawing a bunch of circles. We're not having our buddies scream in the background to try to fake a vocalization. We're putting out genuine stuff, talking to people that have had the encounters, and we're getting our asses kicked by these other people. And we're not going to call anyone out by name. But there are there's people on Facebook that every day I
go on Facebook, there's this one particular person. Every day there's a new picture with about five or six red circles, and he's talking about look at the face on this one. This one is materializing through the portal. But Brian, what gets me? You had this, and then underneath that you have twenty comments. Wow, good catch. Wow they're always around you, aren't they awesome? Fine? Brother? What is it? What do we have to do? I just I don't understand. How can we make the
change? How can we change things? I've asked myself that question so many times because I'm at a loss as well. I think it has a lot to you with just the clickbait mentality that's going on around the world in general. I've read some books recently on podcasting and how to capture people's attention and bring the show to new audiences and things like that, and a lot of it is literally you have to capture somebody's attention and three seconds or less.
That's basically what it boils down to. You have to have a three second catch phrase, three second image, whatever the case may be. And I've experienced it on my TikTok channel. I have put stuff out on TikTok, good quality interviews. Less Stroud survivor man Less Stroud came on my Sasquatch Odyssey show a couple of years ago. Fantastic interview with a very well known musician. This guy was on television for thirteen years or so with his own pioneering
surviving show that basically gave birth to a genre. And he's on here talking about Bigfoot on a bigfoot podcast, on a bigfoot podcast TikTok, and it's got like four hundred views. But I can take a reel that somebody else is posted from somebody walking around in a bigfoot costume, and put it on there and within two hours it's got twenty thousand views on TikTok. That's really what it boils down to is we're in a TikTok mentality. We're in a
TikTok time frame of life, and that's what people are clicking on. And it's almost like they really don't want real answers anymore, and it's frustrating for people like us who really are into the subject and really are looking for answers and really want to highlight people who have had experiences and pull that data out and give it out to the people who are really doing the research and maybe push the ball down the field in bigfoot research. There's a ton of people
they love those kind of shows. Obviously my show is extremely successful. Your show is successful. But it boils down to if you can put out bullshit and put out pictures and draw some red circle squatches and go out and film trees, even if you've had real experiences or not, that's really all you're doing and at that point is putting out stuff that people are buying. And here's the trick about it. Like you said, you get the comments of wow, that's fantastic, great catch oh, I see him right there.
Even if it's the opposite, people are still watching it, right You're still getting comments because even if somebody says, come on, dude, there's nothing there but trees, You're full of shit. Whatever, move on, you still got a view, you still got the click, and you still got the comment, which drives it in the algorithms, and another ten thousand people are going to see it because of those comments. It's never ending. It's like the snake eating its tail in a way in the Bigfoot community. And
I certainly hope it changes. I hope that shows maybe this one we'll start breaking some of that stuff down and putting it in a way where people are entertained by whatever we're saying. However, the true reality of it is some of that stuff needs to change because I take Bigfoot seriously. Most people who listen to this podcast are going to take Bigfoot seriously, and we as a community have to start weeding some of those people out and just not responding to
what they're putting out there. I don't know any other way to change it. Honestly. Yeah, it's so discouraging. It does such a disservice to the community, A community that's already behind the eight ball as far as being taken serious by science or by anyone. We're already looked at as crazy. And then you have these people that share images like this where you have to draw the red circle. What is that doing? What's that doing for the
community that's given the haters more reason to hate? And I have said it, I'm on record saying it so many times. In my opinion, the best tool that we have right now to learn about these creatures, these being whatever you think they are, the best way we have to learn about them is by listening to people that have witnessed them. That's why your show is so successful. My show has seen some success because we target the people that
have actually seen something. Until we have one of these things in captivity or the government admits that we have one in captivity or whatever, that we can study on a regular basis. Talking to the people that have witnessed their behavior and where they live and how they act, those are the people that we can learn from right now. And I just want to challenge everyone out there.
If you're going to post a picture of a big foot, of a dog man, whatever the hell forest creature, you're claiming if you have to draw our circle around what you're trying to show, don't post it. You're not doing any good. You're not answering any questions. It's not going to solve anything. If you have to explain where the figure is that you are trying to show, don't post the damn picture. Yeah, that's a good advice, man, And I second that because I've done that myself. There's
a lot of things that don't translate in photographs. I found some evidence here on the property recently. I found some stuff and casting some footprints just a couple of days ago that I haven't even talked about. I'm not even going to post any pictures of them because honestly, the cast turned out too good in my opinion, and people are probably gonna say it's bullshit. So I'm just not gonna put it out there. I'm gonna keep it to myself.
I'm gonna keep the cast and it's data, right, it's a set of data because I've casted some other stuff recently that turned out to be complete crap. They look great in the ground. Some of the pictures are phenomenal, but it's just not deep enough in the substrate. For me to cast anything
and it just turned out to be crap. I went on Bigfoot and Beyond with Cliff and Bubbo about a week or so ago, and that's one of the things we talked about when I was on the show, and Cliff gave me some encouragement and said, look, dude, if you're casting real footprints of Bigfoot, they're probably ninety percent of them. I'm gonna turn out to
be shit. If you're casting real footprints, these that look perfect that people are seeing they're posting on Facebook and in these groups and on YouTube, they're probably fake. So if your stuff is turning out to be crap, it's probably because you're casting real footprints. I was glad to hear that from Cliff. I appreciated that still doesn't make me feel any better, but I do
the same thing. If I go out and post pictures of stuff that I have captured in the woods or whatever the case may be, I avoid the circles. But because it just has this connotation to me in the community of being bullshit, and it's happened to me with some guests on the show recently, some really compelling stories that people tell about their encounters that have happened over
decades, and they're basically in habituation situations with these creatures. Yet when I say you got pictures of them, oh yeah, I've take tons of pictures all the time. I'll send you twenty five pictures, and every single picture is a red circle squatch. And I asked the question, why is it that you're having constant interactions with these things over twenty or thirty years, yet you don't have one photograph that anybody can look at and discern that there is
actually a creature there. It looks like leaves and trees and stumps and shadows, and it just doesn't lend any more credibility to the subjects. We're not Debbie Downers here, We're not going to be talking about this kind of stuff all the time. But I think it's really important to set the tone for the show and let people know we're not going to pull any punches here,
and we're going to talk about some of these hard questions. We're gonna ask ourselves some hard questions when it comes to research and go down that rabbit hole of if people are out there putting out bullshit, we're going to call them out and we're going to try to focus on what's really pushing bigfoot research down the road. We may have some guests on to talk about certain subjects.
I think mental health and bigfoot is something that we can address here in a good way and really have a great conversation about that, So maybe we'll have some guests on talking about that. We're certainly going to talk about some hoaxers. We're gonna go out on some expeditions and have some stuff to bring back for you guys, and talk about what does happen, what doesn't happen,
all kinds of stuff. We'll get into paraduolity. I think that's part of the reason that we have so many red circle squatches is people are finding things when there's nothing there, and they're not necessarily hoaxing. They're just putting it out there because they believe something's there or they think something's there. Either way, the red circle squatches are not doing anybody any favors. So is there anything that you really want to address on the show that we can look forward
to? Wayne, You and I haven't talked about every topic we're going to cover. Is there anything that's really pressing for you that you want to make sure that we cover in these first few episodes of the show. Brian, If I'm being honest, I do have a question for you. I'm a little bit worried about you, buddy. Are you afraid at all that talk Standing is going to murder you in the woods when you head up there on your expedition. You've been pretty vocal about the fella over your time podcast.
You are not the first person to ask me that question. Funny enough, when I first said I was going up with Todd, a lot of people reached out to me through text messages and private messages and even emails and said, hey, man, are you at all concerned that this guy's trying to lure you up to Canada and you might disappear or a sasquatch drags you into the woods. And I joked about it. I said, no, I don't think that's the case, because I've gotten to know Tid some over the
last couple of years, and I've said it plenty of times. I think he's a good dude. I just think his videos are probably fake, and I think they're having some real stuff go on up there, and I hope to experience it. I'm going up as we record this now in a couple of weeks, I'll be up there in the first of October, and I'm really looking forward to it. I've talked to a couple of people that have come back recently from some recent investigations, as recently as July of this year.
I know we're going to talk about Todd a little bit more in depth than another episode, and I'll talk a little bit about some of those experiences and what I'm looking forward to and what may or may not happen when I'm there. Hopefully it won't be murder. Hopefully I'll make it back to North Carolina and one piece. We joke about it. Accidents happen, right, Sure, no, But I guess to answer your question more seriously, there's
just all kinds of stuff that I'm looking forward to. And to be honest, Brian, when you and I, anytime you and I have hung out, we've had a ball, We've had a great time. We're friends. We really are friends. This isn't just a we kind of work together. We truly are friends. We enjoy each other's company and we laugh all the time when we're together, and that's what we want to translate into this show, and I've been looking for a long time now. I've been wanting to
do a more adult podcast. You know that we can talk about things that aren't You aren't necessarily going to hear on Sasquatch Odyssey or Paranormal Odyssey. And that's what I'm looking forward to the most, is just hanging out with a buddy, shooting the shit and just talking about some stuff that's in the end that's serious. It really is serious, and that's what I'm looking forward to. Yeah, it's Bigfoot after Dark with Wayne and Giant. We're gonna talk
about Bigfoot bullshit and all the tomfoolery that goes on. Yeah, I think that's a good place to go. Man, I really want it to be fun. It's gonna be lighthearted. We're going to talk about some serious stuff. But this is a place for you to come and have a good time and just kick with a beer and join in to the campfire discussions that you and I are going to have about things that probably go through people's there's no probability to it. I know it goes through people's mind because I'm sure,
just like I do. You get the emails once you put those shows out and people have questions about the person that you had on or something that you said on the show. This is the place where you can get involved, and I want to make that very clear as well. This is an interactive show. I've even thought about i haven't even talked about this with you, Wayne, but I've even thought about maybe having some call in questions from the
audience, having people submit questions via emails. If you have a topic that you want to hear on that Bigfoot podcast, you want Wayne and I to go down the rabbit hole with you on, shoot us an email. You can get me at Brian at Paranormal World Productions dot com. You can get Wayne at Paranormal World Productions dot com. Those emails come directly to us. We read those. So if you have a question for us, or you have a topic that you want us to cover on that Bigfoot podcast that has
been burning a hole in your mind, shoot us an email. We'll talk about it, and when we have those shows, we may do some live interactive shows at some point in time and let you guys come in and have a conversation with us. We wanted to be about the things that you guys want to know about in addition to what we want to talk about. Yeah, and just one other thing before we get out of here, Brian. It's something that you said and I want to hit on. There's not going
to be any cross promotion with this show. If you want to hear what we talk about on this show, you got to come to this show and listen. We're not going to cross promote on Sasquatch Odyssey or Paranormal Odyssey. The only place you can hear it is right here. That's going to be another plus in my opinion. I agree. We'll have links to all the social media in the show notes here for all the shows and this one and updates. Go check out the blogs. Go check out the Paranormal World Productions
dot com. That's where all the shows are. Wayne and I do multiple shows, so you guys can get all of those there. Follow us on all the social media, and most important, whatever platform you're listening on, where there's Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google, well, wherever you're listening to the podcast right now, make sure you hit the follow button, the subscribe button, whatever it is, to make sure that you get the automatic downloads on the show so you don't miss anything on the show. We want you
here each and every week. When we drop new shows, you never know when it's going to drop into your feed. We might drop three shows in a week, we might drop four. Who knows hit that subscribe button. Make sure that you tune in every single week. We're looking forward to it and we're so excited to have everybody on board with that Bigfoot podcast. Any final words from you wing rate and review. Please rate and review, and we don't pick the ads. That's correct, We do not pick the ads.
Please don't use the rate and review button to leave us negative reviews. About setting through ads, you can fast forward through them. It is a possibility, So if you don't want to listen to ads, just fast forward right. Yeah. The rate and review is a huge thing. It's what drives us up into algorithms. It's how people find find us when they're searching for a new podcast to listen to. So everybody that's listening right now, it takes a couple of seconds on Apple and or Spotify to rate and review
the show. We'd love five stars, but any feedback is great. The best way to really give us feedback is to shoot us an email. Brian or Wayne at parent on war World Productions dot Com. I think that's about it for this first episode. Man. I think we've given them enough to let them know what the show is going to be about. I think we need to get out of here, and I want to get out in the woods today. So our plan is to drop the first five episodes all at
once on October thirteenth. So go ahead and hit that subscribe button now and make sure you tune into all five of those. We're going to drop him at one time, so you can listen to them back to back. Sounds good, be good, guys. I can, I can. I
