So they had asked me. I sat on this for a few days, like for almost a week or two. I called some of my industry friends and they was like, you should do it. You should do it. I'm freaking like, I don't know. I never did anything like that before. And I was like, it would be something different. But it was main set. It was mainly not just for the

And I said guess when my the California did my first scene with them and it blew up, like it really blew up. It really blew up. And I was like, Oh my gosh. And they was so happy with it that they asked me to do more, and that's what I've been doing. You know, now you didn't you did say that. You know, it's been like a come up, a rough come up. So just real and fluidly because a lot of the times you don't hear those stories a lot in the adult industry. Yet I seem to have this reputation to bring it out of folks to be like, listen, let's talk about it. Safe Space. It's it's insane. And my whole thing is this, you know, when it comes to porn, people have many different fantasies and desires of what they like there. But as I've gotten older, it's just like, I really hate people. I'm so kind of in that state. But you know, to be honest with you, although I've been in this business for a long time and stuff more so independently, I would get nominated for an award, but I never go to the
award show. And the reason why I didn't go to the war show because my social anxiety, I just don't like to be around crowds of people. And when I started getting nominated for things, I made some friends within the industry and they helped me overcome it a little bit. They, they walked the red carpet with me and, you know, help me and stuff like that. And, and I wanted to get out there a lot more.
I wanted to prove to myself that I can do it and help me, you know, somewhat get over my social anxiety and stuff like that. Sometimes my social anxiety would be so bad and my speaking would be so bad and terrible and shit. But once I make a make a choice that I'm going to do something, I'm going to be like, Oh fuck, I'm going, I'm not going back out of it. I'm just going to go ahead and do it.
Whatever it's going to be, wherever the outcome is, I'm just going to do it. And, you know, but I think it's gotten better now, but I'm like throwing myself in it, you know, because for a long time I didn't go to any industry events because of that. Yeah, I didn't go for, and I've been nominated for, for like 27 awards. And I did not go to many of those award shows in the beginning at all. Yeah, this was my first year,
like ever going. I was always working behind the scenes, doing remote broadcast when I was still working for Playboy and Vivid. But like, going to the award show this year, like, like you, it's like you get nominated, you have to go. And like my fiance made my dress and it was so good to see everybody I've worked with over the years, but the social, like everybody just saw it on my face. Like the ones who know me, they were like, oh, you really came out the house though.
I might, I might. You know, it's like last night I was supposed this. By the way, everybody, this is prerecorded. This is me just saying it for the record, the AVN house party was the other night last night and honey, I went to go hang out with my whole friends at a
house. Instead, I was like, I just want to hang out with my actual like polyamorous whole tribe and just do that, you know, and it would have been nice, but I was still just like, I don't want to get dressed up and all that, you know, and then the fact to go alone, you know, I just, it's the fact of going alone. I'm I want to win with. You, if you ever go to any of those parties or something, you need a companion. I'll go 'cause I need a companion too. There we go.
We'll go together. And it's funny, 'cause like everybody's like, stop, just go with me. And I'm like, I know, but I don't like to be that bird, you know what I mean? You don't like to be the burden to call that person to be like, come with me. Can we can we do this together? I have no problem with it. Could you please come with me? I have no problem with it at all. I. Was like, can you please go to this party with me? I, you know, lady, she's a nomination and she went with me.
She met me there and everything. She made me feel comfortable, but she got me fucked up too. And she had me drink my kind of shit. Like she kept giving me drinks, drinks, drinks, drinks. There's certain people in the industry you just know you can't smoke with, can't drink with. Misty Stone is one of them.

I didn't think I was going to win an award because I was nominated the year before and I didn't, I didn't win, but it was controversy around that last year because of the category. But. Let's actually let's talk about that category because some people know and some people don't. So let's talk about that category and and the controversy that leads up to this victory, I
should say. So in that category that I was nominated for last year, it was called best bear or favorite bear or whatever. And most people don't know bear is like the category for like more so bigger Harry like that. And it was controversy because it was people that was nominated in that category that most fans didn't think deserved to be nominated in that category. And it was a big thing.
And for people who won, the person that won, they was, they didn't like that too much because they didn't think that was in that category. And then when we was in the award show and that person won, they kept screaming my name, the whole, yeah, they were screaming my name. And I said I'm like. Oh. My God. But yeah, it was controversy around there for a little bit. Yeah, so getting this win, you know, Fast forward to now, it's like that was a full circle
moment. And the crazy thing is I wasn't even going to go. I wasn't even going. I was not going to go. Because sometimes I get in those spaces where I'll I'll fly out somewhere to go to the event and then when it's time for the event, I'll be like, I'm not going. And then I have to myself up to go. The same thing happened with Urban X because I want to Urban X last year to last summer, last
August too. And I was not going to go like I really was not going to. I wasn't going to go at all because I just didn't think I was going to win at all because I've never because what people don't understand, there's never been a plus sized boy to ever win these kind of awards in in gay categories. You know what I mean? So I I didn't think that I was going to be able to walk out with a war and win. Like I just didn't. I just didn't see that happening.
For me, I was happy to be nominated and it was, it was an honor, but I didn't think that I was going to actually win. It's crazy. That it's wild that when you say that again, you think about it and I'm looking at the history too. It's why did it take this long? And even just because it, like you said before, I think in a previous interview, the categories, it's like it's very limited. The categories are very limiting or it's very just fanbase. It's never the official.
And then when you put it into the regular AB NS&X biz awards, there's no category for even a straight man of your body type at all. But we celebrate the women or we say we celebrate, but there's still those controversies. Again, listen to the LA Chalane episode, y'all. Lots of tea on that one if. It's it's, it's just crazy like even in studio porn, like there has never in 50 years, in 50 years of porn media, there has never been a plus size boy that
