Even if the world championship was canceled, earlier this week, here’s the third podcast episode of our Telus series on the World Junior Championship.
We are pleased to welcome two of the top prospects of the NHL, Kaiden Guhle and Shane Wright. Kaiden was a 2020 first round pick for the Montréal Canadiens and Shane Wright will likely be the first overall pick of the next NHL entry draft. Kaiden is also the captain of our Team Canada for this year’s World Junior Championship.
We’re all on Team Canada. While the World Juniors have been cancelled to protect our community, we can’t wait to see you on the ice soon. In support, Telus is giving $100k to community organizations, including $50k to the Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund, and $25k each to the Edmonton Community Foundation and Red Deer and District Community Foundation, to support Alberta’s frontline workers.
