You're about to meet and get to know one helluva woman! 75-year-old Gloria Allen is a transgender woman who grew up in the 50s and 60s on Chicago's South Side and transitioned from George to Gloria after high school, but obviously before the Stonewall Uprising. Her story is riveting, empowering, inspirational. Case in point - while in her 60s, Gloria started a charm school for homeless trans youth - hence the 'Mama.'
