Son a cast time your Girls, son of G Righty on Cambo Live every day of the week, you know what I'm saying. But then we try to tap in on the podcast just to tell y'all what we're thinking, what's going on in the Bay and beyond your player putting a g biz, you know, son of G. I feel like there's a lot of things that we haven't necessarily touched on outside of just a couple of seconds we get to talk about it on the radio. And that's why I look forward to these

SONO casts. Yeah, I mean, we gotta you know, other than that, we can cuss too, So that's all. But let's talk about these concerts. So you know, shoot, to be quite honest, here in the Bay, we weren't able to put some a jam on this year, man. And a lot of it is because one all, you know, after the pandemic, all these artists are getting back out on the on the road and they're doing their own tours and whatever, so they're not willing to you know, divert or share or whatever the case may be. But

right these concert ticket prices, though, it's ridiculous through the roof. You know, we just went to Drake the other night, you know, because thankfully we had a competition on air. We hooked somebody up in a winners got to come check them out on the floor with us. But you know those seats, had you bought them, were what seats? What those standing areas were on the floor? Twelve hundred bucks? What some people paid even four hundred dollars just to get into the building. And y'all was at the

tippy top top of the whole arena. Yeah, I was able to allow a guess. We got to guess each and those bleeds were four hundred dollars, right. I don't know if any of y'all are old enough to remember when if you said in the bleeds you were un a hundred bucks. I mean, if you were anywhere, like aside from the floor, you could pay a hundred and some dollars to see one of your favorite artists. You talk about four hundred four nosebleeds. It's really ridiculous. I know a lot

of you're choked. I know a lot, all right. I mean, the cost will get you there. I know a couple of women that said they had to go ahead and you know, loan out their apartment for a couple of months just for tickets to go seeponce because it's that's serious with Queen Bay is coming out here to the Bay Area. Man point, I don't

understand, Like some of y'all ain't paying your child support. You haven't had to pay your rents since what since the shot the what's it called the moratorium was in playing and ain't got no money to do important things like improve yourself. Yeah, but you have money to see Beyonce or Drake or whoever. Like, I don't know, man, the world, the world is a

funny place. Priorities are all over the place. You know, even the police, you know, aren't stopping folks are out here robbing and knocking people over. It's just all over the It's all over. But a lot of these concepts though, I mean, this is certainly a year for it, fiftieth year of hip hop. So a lot of people are just out on the road doing their thing, and they digging in your pockets. Yeah,

I'm trying to get their money. So on top of that, you gotta pay if you buy it online, you gotta get your transaction fee in right then when you pull up to the spot, are you paying twenty thirty forty fifty dollars just to park your whip in there, or thirty two dollars up to get an uber there, or whatever the case may be. Then you're waiting out in the cold for the thing to come right. It's like, what is gonna change with concert series and like, you know, live performances.

I feel like it's getting absolutely ridiculous. And these families, like, you know, again, I don't know where your priorities are at. I get being a fan, but you're not gonna take care of your kids because you want to. You want to spend eight hundred dollars on a Beyonce ticket, But when your baby says, hey, mom, I gotta hold them a backpack, You're like, well, I could stitch it up, you

know what I mean. Like the priorities are weird, and even for us like radio stations, like we get a budget, to be quite honest, if y'all don't know the intel on it, Like we get a budget from a company on how much we can actually spend on artists and to create a lineup. And some of these cats are getting our entire budget for one festival, right Coachella or you know whatever, outside lands over here in the Bay whatever, you know, festival you can think about. They're getting big dollars.

So how is it even gonna be possible to have like some affordable like entertainment come to her anymore? I don't understand it. I mean, pretty soon it won't be affordable. It is going to be the thing of the past. I mean. And then you got shows like the Light Zone Festival is one one of the biggest festivals we have over here in the Bay Area, you know, with our very own her My Girl from Vallejo. They're

canceling this show because tickets haven't been selling. And now I'm hearing trends of other shows having to be canceled or postponed or try to figure it out because you know, you got people like Drake and Beyonce torn people paying a thousand bucks to go see them. They ain't gonna go see these other people, right, you know what I'm saying exactly. It's way too expensive. So maybe we'll see a turnaround in it with all this different, you know,

stuff going on, But we'll see what's up. I don't know. I mean, I'm just I'm I'm really mind blown by the fact the light Zone couldn't sell tickets. Not only is it her Jasmine Sullivan, it's a star studded lineup. Somehow Firefest quote unquote number two, which we know the first one was an entire fake and just messing, just a debacle out in the Bahamas. But somehow, with no lineup, no location, Firefests two is them. They're sold out. It's sold out. He's only done one round

of tickets for you don't even know what you're getting. Are you getting a seat? Are you getting like standing room only? Where are you still? Like? You all don't know any of that. But that's the power of social media because the other one was so famous for everything that it went wrong on it. Yeah, we had people sucking dick for water bottle. There were cheese sandwiches and clamshells, that's all you got, and not one artist to be seen, and some celebrities, you know, Paris Hilton. A

bunch of people tried to go out there. They were like, there's nothing here but some white tents and cheese sandwiches and you know, nothing else. So but because of that, y'all want to go ahead and be front row and center, whether it's good or bad. You want to be there. They just want to be there to go ahead and jump on I Live to show you what the mess looks like. You know, this guy, Billy mcfallo who runs that thing, just got out of jail, just been four

years for all the scams he committed in the first Firefest. Why are we supporting this? I mean, we know the cheese sandwich is gonna be good. He had that iron on them things, making them crispy and delicious. Y'all, please get your priorities together. That's why I'm asking. And as we are looking at another outbreak of this this vis I know so many people right now who have COVID. Yeah, so that's another reason why I think people might be to toured, but not a lot of y'all. And they're

suggesting folks put their masks back on. Yeah. I mean, I feel like everybody has kind of forgotten about it just over the past few months, and now with this new wave is like, oh shit, it's still out here. Oh yeah, you know what I mean. And this EG five is not playing with y'all. This new variant is serious, man. They said it's been affecting people differently than the other rounds did. And certainly a

lot more severe. So man, check yourself if you are going outside during this season, because you know, cold and flu season is on the way. It's about to kick up real rules soon once the public spice latte hits Starbucks. You know, it's almost that time of the year. So man keep itself protecting. Yeah, I mean, you know they're saying health officials, that's why it's an endemic. It's not gonna go away. It's here to stay. So you know, wash your hands. I always keep sanitizer

in my car. If you got family members or elders who have pre existing health conditions, make sure that they're wearing their mask and close proximity. I'm gonna be honest, I don't know about the rest of y'all. And I feel like I know I'm not alone. Every day I see people still with masks, so they could be in the car by themselves. Who are you

protecting yourself from yourself? And I feel like we got to a point where we're kind of making fun of the masks, but you know, here we go running to either go buy them again or find that stash we had from when the runa was really popping, Right, So you know again to reiterate what you said. The people are saying, it's really bad this go round, and they'll have you down for like three, four or five days. So nobody wants that, especially when you're trying to do some last minute trips

are whatever the case may be, before fall hits. So or if you're going to see Yance because you're already paid about eight just to get into the building that levis. Here's another thing that's not going to go away. Climate change. Yo, God, this is why we're seeing people devastated, you know what I'm saying, like not being able to find their family members.

Shout out to our SF firefighters that headed out to Maui to help with the wildfire that happened out there, and it's just it's still going but they're missing so many people. And it was just a combination of climate that was going on with that situation. We've had floodings, we've had earthquakes. Hell, we had a storm that ain't hit the West coast in eighty four years.

Fuck you, Hillary, because you messed up my Vegas fans. But you know you're kidding yourself if you're not in your mind already thinking yo, things are going to continue to be this way. We're gonna see stuff that we haven't seen in a long time as far as the weather and everything else, and these natural desasters are going to continue to get worse. They just get in tragic, man. Definitely prayers up for MAUI got us in love to

them and all the families affected. But I mean, yeah, out here, like on the California coast, it's like when they started saying hurricane I

was like, are you fucking serious? Hurricane in the on the West coast, And now they're saying that's only probably just the first of many to continue to come over the next few years, because this climate change is absolutely a thing out here that we all need to worry about all across the country and really all across the world, because as we continue to see, you know, natural disasters in parts of the world that typically don't see those types of

things, know that they can happen anywhere. Hell La got hit with the hurricane and earthquake at the same damn time. Yeah, flooding brooding like crazy. Vegas got flooded literally the driest place, and that's like the second flooding they've had I think this year. Already like this. You know it's flat. You get a lot of rain in one little you know segment, you're gonna have everything flooded. I remember that last flood in Vegas. They flood

it out. All the casinos, all the carpet floors were all you imagine what those my life, they dry out, going up, pull those out, let's start over. It's funny now in hindsight, because you know, we every time we feel a little rumble, we're like, all, shoot, it's our time. And I think that we fear that. But yeah, these earthquakes, these hurricanes, these fires, they're just not going to be going anywhere. And it's all because of the way we treat this poor

mother like you know, it's she been here millions of years. We just got here, not too long ago. We're a blip in the history timeline. But you know we're coming behind all kinds of years of pollution and read and like all these things that are creating our atmosphere to be on a different level now. So it's unfortunate, man, But climate change is a real

thing. So I think real hard. If you want more kids, or if your kids want kids and you've got grandkids coming because you know, I've had conversations with folks that are like, I don't want no kids because they're fearful of what we're leaving behind. You don't know what's coming up next. You know. It certainly goes through my mind when I think about pro creating. Uh, you know, and I hear a pause button because it's like, bruh, I'm not sure because because the world is already a ship show.

But you know, a little bit to find somebody to have a baby with two Well, I mean I could have an option if I want an option, sure, you know, kay, I want to do it the right way. Yeah, anyway, you know, it's just man, try to be better today. As as as human beings, all you can do is start with yourself and hopefully be the change that you want to see. Yeah, I got an electric car. That was my donation this here, but I don't know if it's good or bad. People are telling me now

that electric vehicles aren't so great for the environment either. So we're just buying into whatever's being told to us. We contiue to pour money into this economy and we're highly being taken advantage of. So I don't know through all of

that, trying to find some light in your life. Look at your kids face and smile, you know, maybe your wife or your husband, or your girl or you know, man, whatever, and try to find some peace and some beauty in the life that we are living every single day, even though between the crime and everything else, it's like it's a crazy time to be alive. I say it almost once a week. It's a crazy time to be alive. If the show is well, If you need a

little nugget of joy today, let's go. What you bring some wheat? He said, nuggets? So I went left. You know, you know, I got it on me. But just keep in mind we are only about two months out from Halloween, just a little bit over. Yeah, keep that in mind. So for all y'all out there who enjoy dressing up, y'all y'all out there who enjoy looking at the ladies dress it up. Hey man, Hey, our time is coming. He could produce a Jason.
