Sonic cast time with your people from the sign that you want to show what your girl sign was sat Hey, y'all you play it putting the jeep biz. You know, people talk about it all the time, just in passing, like when you talk to folks, or if you're on the next door app or what is a neighborhood app? Neighborhood one of those, or you get you know, alerts from like your city. There's also apps and text

messages for that. It's like, I feel like out here in the Bay Area, on both sides of the bridge, not just Oakland, but San Francisco too, like crime is at an all time high, from bippers to burglaries, to arm robberies, to fools pulling up on old people just walking, you know, down the street and taking their watches and their purses and all this other stuff. It's like folks are living lawless right now in the

Bay you know. You know what really sold it for me was when I saw an entire shootout on Pier thirty nine in the middle of the daytime. Why the hell a y'all hanging out the window letting guns with sticks? Y'all have fully banana clip out there letting loose, like it's not kids, families

and everybody else just walking right down the street. Yeah. The dog thing too, for me is another thing, Like you know, it's like people are figuring out any which way catalytic converters like, and I'm like, if you guys have all this uh, this ingenuity exactly, and then why can't you just go work? I mean, you know, shoot, let's face it, the pay isn't isn't matching the inflation right now, so I understand that. So you can go out and do your free thing and cause other

people harm and damage to their property and whatever. It's like so selfish for these folks to be doing this stuff right now. And the way that San Francisco is already looking, you know, from not only just people not returning back out into the streets, but also you know, these grabbing dashes and all these other things, like it's gonna be a ghost town out here.

And I'm really worried about the look of San Francisco right now as it is, Yeah, because all the all the businesses is leaving and lost, the mall damn about to lose a couple old tales, old navy gone. It's about to be just yeah, wow, West Boy. They put out a list and they said that the Bay area of San Francisco is the very last in trying to recover from the pandemic. Other cities in California are thriving. LA's back San Diego. Like you know, you go a little bit north

to south, everybody's fine but us. And you know, I mean, I know every other places have crime, but it's just a combination of a few things that is making it look real ugly out here. Like our mayor in Oakland is not prioritizing a police chief out there in the town. And some of the crimes that I see that take place in broad daylight, like I'm fearful to stop a bipper because now they're pulling guns out on people. We saw a video here in the city too, where some jogger like tried

to intervene and they pulled out a gun and started blapping on him. And it's just like we're just trying to tell you yo, stop doing that shit. Yeah, because people are having to pay for windows, they're losing all their property. We have celebrities come in. We barely do as it is. They don't treat us like La or New York. So now they're really not gonna want to come because you know you, they come and you all take everything out of their cars. So but I'm trying to be a good

citizen and help out my people. So I hank my horn. I'm running face to face with a couple of vippers twice. Yeah, and you know each time they kind of threatened me in one way or another. And it's like, I'm just trying to help my fellow people, just trying to be a decent human being, you know what I'm saying. It's terrible that we have so many videos of people telling us how not to get your car broken

into on social media. You can go on TikTok right now, and all you gotta do is look at a couple of different Bay Area based pages and they got about twenty two motherfucking you know different videos these fools. I'm about to sprinkle a little glass on your window, but drop it down, so folks don't think that you you got anything your car You've already been broken into. It's crazy. I've personally had two of my friends have their car stolen

from their homes in the last month and a half. Stuff is crazy out here. Yeah, I leave my windows down. For a lot of people, that's the only way now to even not to have to not pay for a new window every time you go outside. Yeah, you know, But it's like, what's next. What are we gonna do to try to make sure we can change the culture, because the way it's hit it right now, we're all gonna be damned. I don't see anything good happening for us

within ten years. I feel like the recovery that has to be made by our legal forces, by the economy in general, just morality in general. Like I feel like there's no fear in place, yeah, because nothing's being done. But then we don't want it to go to an extreme where we saw, you know, that young person lose their life over at the Walgreens. The security guard was hired to do their job, they pull the trigger, and now we lost a transgender you know man. Yeah, So it's

just where are we gonna fix it? How are we gonna fix it? Then we got our governor over here in a pissing match with the one from Florida, Stantus over here doing videos in the city talking about we're not doing it right. Newsom over there spending money putting billboards up in Florida, like

we're not focused on the right shit like homelessness. Yeah, that's important, right, But with all the teacher strikes and everything we had all through the beginning of this year, in the end of last year, it's like our priorities are all jacked up in California, man, And that's why there's an exodus going on. People don't want to stay here because we're paying taxes out the ass man, and pay is not going up like inflation or these tax

rates, and only the only thing that's rising is the crime. But I mean, it's only one way that this thing's gonna end. If it continues to go on the way it's Eddie, we're gonna end up having a state of emergency and you're gonna see the National Guard. We're going through your motherfucking house, through your neighborhood, and you don't want to see that, I'm telling you, you know, Yeah, it is ridiculous. But also the Gavin De Santis beef is kind of funny to be It's kind of funny.

Here's a couple of De Santa's talking about the city. We're here in the once great city of San Francisco. We came in here and we saw people defecating on the street. The city is not vibrant anymore. It's really collapsed. They don't prosecute criminals like they do in most parts of the country. Seeing so many businesses boarded up, they are doing it wrong here. No wonder why we've had so many people moved from San Francisco to Florida. Now. One thing I'm not going to do is say we need to be like

Florida. Never so that's out. If we're doing it wrong, I'm willing to stick around until we kind of try to figure it out, rather than go to the Florida levels and all the disrespect that they enforce out there on a government level, Like some of these people in power over that way just are blatantly disrespectful to community members and it's just ugly. Man. But I

worry. I have a daughter, you know, for my parents out there watching these freeway shootings go down, and these young people who just got here, you know, getting their lives taken away. I just don't know where we're going, and it's sad. We talked about a clown of the day who used a forklift to break into somewhere. It's like nobody saw this full riding down the street in Oakland in a forklift. You know what I'm saying, Like nobody, and everybody's scared to intervene, and I do believe I'm

a person. It's like, stay in your lane, mostly because I have to stay here for my daughter and whatnot. So yes, maybe I'll say something or whatever, but I'm not willing to take a bullet over it because y'all want to break into a cannabis shop or whatever the case may be. But you know, even that store owner was like, Yo, this is you know, crippling, right, y'all are coming in and taking thousands of dollars of stuff. I can't stay open like this, And that's happened to

so many business owners. So it's ugly in the Bay. Man. I don't know what we're gonna do. Well, what we need to do is stop robbing the celebrities when they come, because you won't be I don't want you crying when Beyonce says she's not coming in August because she don't want to get her car broken into, because y'all keep doing everybody dirty. I mean, clearly, anybody can get It wouldn't be nice if Queen Bay just felt comfortable pulling up to the lake. I mean, you know what I'm saying.

I'm walking around that thing like nothing, but hell, they'd probably run up and try to snatch the wig off her head. I like, I don't know, it's uh, it's ugly, and I'm just worried, Like how long are we going to be able to withstand this? Y'all are hurting the economy and business owners and just the community in general, and I don't feel like our leaders are on the right mindset for it. We can't put all of it on them, because you know, it's not all on them.

They're trying to do what they can with what they got, but they also have to answer to other people. And these funds like they're designated to stuff for a reason, and it's probably not always good, but it is what it is, you know. And I don't even want a stereotype who's behind it? Right? I feel like sometimes it comes down to a racial

conversation. All these black and Mexican folks are out here robbing everybody. I see a whole lot of really light hands when I see these bipping sentuations and I'm not saying that you know it's anybody specifically, but we have to start like changing the way things are going down. I know these people have no

regard for your car, your property, what your future holds. They're just trying to get their hot pick up real quick, you know, dump it off or take the valuables cop that put it a paunch up, get a couple dollars. Like, there's just no respect. Yeah, it's it's it's not it's none at all. So you should move with caution throughout these bear strees, but also try to maintain your own morality. Let's let's roll with some with some dignity, and please can we find some integrity in the way

that we interact with one another. It definitely makes me worried. I'm like, bro, when's the Bay Area gonna be on the next First forty eight? Because they can't base a whole lot of episodes of what's going on, and apparently it's not good for your mental health watch these shows. Should were watching this shit in real life? What you got on True Crime or Inside

Edition or First forty eight or whatever, like it's nothing to us. As psychologists basically said, watching episodes of these type of crime shows, especially before you go to bed, is not good for your mental health. But it's like I'm interested, she said, don't try to find peace in it, Like who's fighting peace and watching somebody's you know girlfriend, you know what I mean be attacked and killed or stabbed to death by their boyfriend or whatever.

Those are the ones that interest me. If your idea of relaxing before you go to sleep it's watching three episodes of Law and Order. I would encourage you to think about why it is trauma relaxing to me, harm, crime, violation, attacks, and that's what is going to soothe me into my bedtime. Some of us grew up in high stress, so people mistake peace for boring. I'm not mistaking nothing. Are just I find it interesting because you know, the news and media outlets, they only give us a little

piece. Like I'm looking for the video footage. I mean, run that back fourteen times so if I can see if this is a fool that might have interacted or kidnapped a child or whatever. Like I want to be a part time investigator with you. That's why I also listen to like crime junkie podcasts and whatever the case may be, but then sometimes those never payoff,

so they're kind of boring. I mean, true crimes is a big, big market for a reason, because, to be honest, it's almost kind of like a real life version of a thriller movie, you know what I mean exactly. But the ones I think that really affect us, all the ones that probably play into our traumas. Yeah, that's true, and that's what she's talking about. It certainly can be damaging to your mental health. But also, bro let me live my life, mayo, damn business lady.

I mean some of the biggest shows, yes, I mean, with the most longevity are crime shows sv unit or what is it? The Law and Order svy CSI, all that stuff, all that stuff, you know, and people ain't watching that for no damn reason. Let's let's be honest. Dahmer wasn't the biggest damn show Netflix for nothing? Just eat the meat? What is it? It's meat? Oh my god? That was really traumatizing for some people. There was folks, there were folks that didn't want

to watch it, and that's your prerogative. But if I want to watch it, it doesn't mean I'm gonna go and cry or like you know, like I don't know, but I understand it if you have suffered something like that. One of my homegirls actually saw her mother kills, so I understand.

Like, you know, it can push buttons probably for you that you won't really realize at the moment, but if you just see it for what it is, and again, it's like interesting, it's like investigative work, you know, and you just want to see what people are going through it. I think it makes us a little bit more in touch with each other when you watch, you know, a mom crying because her daughter went missing and you know, whatever the case may be. So you know, it

connects us a little bit more. I'm not saying I want that for people. I'm saying it interests me to see that, and it makes me feel, you know, as a parent, like more in touch with them. Yeah, and also it makes you a little bit more alert. I'm gonna

tell you one thing too. So back in the day, my mama used to have a collection of tapes vhs that she would pop it and I mean when I was young, Yeah, yeah, we would watch these things and it'd be like, don't accept candy from stranger from me at the park. Yeah, it'd be like, because this could happen, you get snatched up and pulled into a van, somebody could take you off, and it would

sit and have discussions about it. It was educational. Yeah, it was scary for me as a young kid to watch this, but also she was giving me game like, boy, keep your head on the swivel. Yeah, you know, my daughter and I I had me watching these ones for a while. We just had to tune out. It was a whole lot of missing girls and blah blah blah. Let's face it. You know there's a lot of trafficking going on right here in the bay too. Um,

so you know there can be learning lessons to it. But you know, if you let a young person watch these things, you obviously have to give guidance exactly like you do with anything like. These young people are absorbing so much crap on social media like TikTok and whatever. Right, there's good stuff there too, It's not all horrible, but there is some crap on there

and made up stories. And then you know, my daughter will come and tell me, oh my god, did you know that blah blah blah, and some dad did this to his daughter, and I'm like, okay, honey, So that can happen, and you just have to have those conversations, man, regarding anything negative or positive. You should constantly be talking to your kids. Yeah, man, And that's the thing. I think, having open family discussions and not letting TikTok radio damn kids is the basis of

it. So do you work, parents, Yeah, And it could lead to maybe stopping somebody's fools going around doing what they're doing right now in these streets, right like we talked about earlier with the bipping and the robberies and whatever like put I'm on the right path. I'm not saying that some people don't struggle more than others, but the opportunities are out there are you just have to learn how to conduct yourself and don't see it as you know,

oh the man, this and that. We all got to work for somebody unless you got the money or to know how to build your own empire, which please do that if you can, and don't let it be around, you know, wiggling underneath somebody's fucking car to cut out their catalytic converter. So I don't know, parents, do your due diligence out there every day yep, and let's go ahead and be safer in these Bay Area streets as a whole, all right, because we want y'all to be smooth and be

here absolutely and be tuned in with us. Man.
