Saoirse McHugh, who has been a force to be reckoned with since running for MEP as a Green Party candidate a few months back. Proving herself to be a voice of climate justice, equality and honesty, McHugh is now in the running for #GE2020 as a Green Party representative in the Mayo constituency and has been named as 'One to Watch' by The Irish Times. Catching the public's attention with thought-provoking outspoken appearances on Prime Time, calling out Peter Casey - to name one, her transparency and integrity has become an inspirational role model for myself and many of my generation.  In this episode we discuss many aspects of becoming a politician, from the perspective of McHugh who has proclaimed she 'never thought' she'd get into politics.
