Spill Detect is a technology developed in partnership by SeeChange Technologies and Ocucon, which seeks to address the slip-and-fall issue in the large swathes of floors that are not foreseeably wet

Plugging into existing CCTV, it scans floors and identifies when a liquid spillage takes place

It then notifies the site, enabling them to deal with the spillage – hopefully before it’s too late

This is a real game-changer and should be of interest for anyone managing safety in large buildings, from supermarkets to shopping centres, airports, stations, museums etc
