Though I have not seen the movie "Patriots Day", I learned that Boston Police Officer Dennis "D.J." Simmonds was not recognized as a victim of the terrorist attack during the dedication portion of the film. Officer Simmonds was injured by an explosion during the apprehension of the suspects in Watertown Massachusetts, and died year later from a complication of the injuries. This is my message to Mark Wahlberg about Officer Simmonds.
