It has been a big week for announcements in the Adelaide Hills, including a passenger rail investment trial proposal from Spanish train manufacturing company Talgo and SA Labor has promised to spend $220 million on a new hospital in the growing town of Mount Barker.
It comes just weeks after Mount Barker Mayor Ann Ferguson threatened to freeze developments in the town in order for road infrastructure to catch up with demand.
