Episode description

A GP clinic in the Adelaide Hills is the first in the world to install air purifying tech that has been clinically proven to destroy aerosol pathogens.

The Better Medical GP clinic in Mount Barker is installing the TGA-listed medical device, with potential for it to be rolled out to 90 other clinics in the network.

Keswick-based PlasmaShield has developed the small unit for use in air conditioners and ventilators, claiming it can eliminate airborne bacteria and viruses.

PlasmaShield CEO Nick Haslam joins Jennie Lenman in this podcast to discuss the tech, which has been more than a decade in the making.
