Influencers: Giving What We Do Have

Peter and John were on their way to the temple when they noticed a man who had been lame from birth. He was begging for money from passersby. Peter and John stopped and looked at him. Peter said, "Look at us!" The man fixed his gaze on them, expecting to receive something from them. 

Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk." Immediately, this man was healed of his lameness and he began to walk and leap and praise God! 

This story is a powerful reminder of the power of Jesus' name and the authority we have in it. We have authority to speak life and healing into the situations that we face. We have authority to bring God's will and purpose into our lives and the lives of those around us. 

What can we learn from this story? We can learn to trust in the power of Jesus' name. We can learn to tap into His power and authority to bring healing and restoration in our lives. We can learn to speak life
