The story of an ace engineer and team owner who has worked with the biggest and best F1 drivers. We chat the move into Touring Cars with his West Surrey Racing team at the height of an arms race in the 2-litre Super Touring era. Remember that? The late Murray Walker lent his iconic commentary to the coverage for some years and so many big name manufacturers were involved spending telephone number sized budgets to try and win!

Then there’s the BMW’s they now run in the BTCC and the work required around its hybrid program. Dick is adamant about working with drivers to properly understand their feedback and how that ‘feel’ is still incredibly important in finding ways to fine tune the race car, not just relying on the data.
