Yet another Obamacare repeal went down in flames thanks to Republican Senators John McCain, Susan Collins, and others. And it should not be apparent to everybody that there never was any desire to repeal it. Senator Collins, a main blamed her opposition on proposed Medicaid cuts. She said that it was unacceptable to make structural changes without hearings. Her thumbs down came to spite. Senators Lyndsay Graham's and Bill Cassidy's offered to bribe her to boost federal healthcare funds for
her state by to win her boat. She still said no. Democrat Leader Chuck here Schumer is gloating. He says, once the repeal bill is officially off the table, the Democrats will work with Republicans to bail out Obamacare. That means the insurance companies. He wants to find a compromise with Republicans that stabilizes healthcare markets. That's the insurance companies. That'll mean higher premiums, not lower. You watch now, for years,
I've told you what compromise means. In Washington, Republicans fall, and after they cave on their principles, they joined Democrats to enact whatever the Democrats wanted in the first place. So here we are. Republicans control the majority of state governments. They control the House, they control the Senate, they control the White House and the agencies of the federal government.
And the Democrats a losing party. It barely elect local dog catchers, but they control the Republicans and their agenda prevails. It's surreal, but that's just the way it is. Voters be damned.
