This past Sunday, Jack Tapper, host of CNN State of the Union show, interviewed Dr de Fauci, who heads the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Dr de Fauci told Tapper that even if a vaccine for the coronavirus is brought to market and widely distributed, we cannot abandon fundamental public health measures. So even if you get the vaccine, you're gonna have to keep wearing a mask and you're
gonna have to keep hunkering down. That's because even with a ninety rate of effectiveness, people who take the vaccine won't necessarily know how effective it is for them. After hearing that gloom and doom assessment from Dr Fauci, Dr Tapper had a diagnosis of his own. He declared that Christmas probably not going to be possible this year. So, just like that on CNN, Christmas is over before it
even gets started. Well, I have a prediction for you, Jacob Paul Tapper, despite what you may hope, there will be a Christmas this year, at least in my house, and next year and every year that human beings continue to populate the earth. Neither the coronavirus nor CNN or any other plague is going to stop people from celebrating one of the holiest and most treasured days of their lives. And Jake, there isn't a single grinch like journalist who can ever stop Christmas. You don't have that kind of
power and you never will. Sorry,
