Over the weekend, the entire nation was buzzing about the thirty eight minutes when terrified Hawaii residents believe they were about to be knoked. Shortly after eight Saturday morning, Hawaiians woke to an emergency alert telling him to seek immediate shelter because of an inbound ballistic missile threat, with the added emphasis this is not a drill, as we now know it was a false alarm. Threat was not real,
but the panic was. The missile warning was broadcast over TV and radio stations by the Hawaii Emergency Management Agency. Petrified people abandoned their cars, ran to the shelters, even hid in the storm drains for thirty eight excruciating minutes. Nobody knew what was happening or if Hawaii would be blown off the map. When it eventually became clear that
the alert was a mistake, outrage set in. But all the outraged citizens of Hawaii should be satisfied to learn that there is accountability to civil defense employee who accidentally pressed the wrong buttons reportedly feels real bad. Emergency Management officials say he didn't do it on purpose, he feels terrible about it, and just as important, he's going to be retrained. That's right. He'll be counseled and drilled so this never happens again. You believe this, folks, I'm sorry,
I don't. I don't believe thirty eight minutes went by without any truth getting out. I don't believe this guy only idiot one button. I'm not buying any of this.
