Speaker 1

Now you want to hear something that takes the cake, this is it. When he was California's Lieutenant governor, Gavin Knewsom fully supported the two thousand and seventeen state law that increased gasoline taxes. Last year, running for governor, Newsom opposed about the initiative to repeal those massive gas taxes, and they elected him anyway. But now that he's governor, Newsom has questions. He's asking the State of Energy Commission

to investigate why California has the highest gasoline taxes in America. Now, the average price for a gallon of gas in the US two dollars eighty nine cents. In California, it's over four smackers. Newsom blames everybody but Democrats. He did not ask the Energy Commission to investigate the high Democrat gas increases. He didn't ask the commission to look into the cost of Democrat wacko ism, including California's cap and trade scheme,

which directly affects the price of gas. And like the typical liberally as Newsome is pointing his finger at the oil industry and big Big is painting them as the villains. In reality, any California driver who complains about gas prices should be giving the finger to Newsom and his fellow Democrats. They raised them and now they're complaining about them, and they are the total cause of them.
