Born and raised in Mexico, Juan Ruiz - aka @kermittherunner - first moved to the States in 2007 to live in Detroit, but it wasn't until he moved to Houston in 2012 that Juan was first introduced to running. In this episode, we talk through his weight loss journey (90 pounds!), his first-ever race - the 2020 Houston Marathon and when, exactly, he found out just how far a marathon is, everything he accomplished in 2020 and so much more!
