The Runner’s Gambit - In the third episode of ‘Run The Business’ Ant meets with Geert van der Velde, CEO of Chessable who talks to Ant about why he thinks running a business is like running a marathon. As well as the ‘Queen’s Gambit’ effect they also chat about the parallels between chess and business. They also touch on his former life as a rock musician.
In addition to being CEO of Chessable, the company that aims to make chess as fun and as efficient as possible, Geert is also VP of ‘Play Magnus Group.’ Based in both London and Barcelona, Geert has been able to turn his passion for chess into a full-time career.
