The maestro dropped on us an album so complete and compelling, and more than a decade and a half from the last full album, that we dive in, letting the oceans of sound wash over us. It moved us. We start the conversation with light talk of Transformers and shows of yesteryear, and wrap it up with the targeted discussion that takes us deep into the velvety dark beauty of a band and album that we all admit, are so very, very lucky to have in the world.
