Intro / Opening

Music. And we are back for another episode of the Rule the Jungle podcast.

Welcome to Rule the Jungle

Your host, Anthony Anderson. And alongside me are both my co-hosts. One, Mr. Tyler Bowles. And I think we all know his name. He is the revered one. He will not answer me unless I refer to him by this name. I think you all I think you all Know who he is You know him You love him He is the one The only, Will Appleton I almost feel like When I'm getting ready to announce him I should play that Chris Jericho's Spotlight.

But I'd be afraid of us getting a copyright Yeah, no, that'd be 100% But with that being said, to those of you that are tuning in, today, this was after by now you will have heard the other episode, that me and Will went on this past Sunday to go to attend the nfo combine it's actually a really fun trip so i think this is going to be a a yearly business trip a yearly a yearly business trip that we take so with that being said that we kind of have a little bit of a more

clear picture of who we're liking and who we maybe don't necessarily see the bangles potentially taking so today is my the second mott draft that we're going to do. So with that being said, I am going with PFF this time. I know, Tyler, I know you tend to like to use the mock draft database. For no reason only other than it's free. Yeah, because it's very, I am going to do something a little different. I'm going to use the ESPN in my graph simulator. Maybe.

I forgot about that one, yeah. Okay. It's a little, uh... I won't say fancy-smancy, but... Also, I'm starving. My food's here. Great. Great time. Great freaking time. So what'd you get? Sounds like a lot of feet. Okay, appreciate it. So what'd you get? You know, I'm quite fond of a little shrimp takeout. Oh, okay. I mean, he's with a little shrimp and, you know, a little fried rice. A little bit. So with that being said, y'all ready to go ahead and get this mock draft started?

Sounds good. we're doing four rounds right yes we are going to up it by a round and do four so with that being said we'll we'll do something a little different this time i think anthony i think you went first last time or it might have been will to win first i mean i think did you go last i think so all right well we'll switch it up a little bit this time i'll i'll go first we'll let the main event go last.

Oh, Will is the main event? Will is the main event. Okay. Next time we'll switch it up too. Alright. With that being said, mock draft part two. Sometimes the setup on this thing's a little weird. So, right off the bat here, trade offers from the 49ers, Lions, and Giants, Jaguars rejecting all those. A little bit different starting out here as Cam Ward this time did not go number one. Number one was actually Abdul Carter to the Titans.

And Donovan Ezraku Edge out of Boston College went to the Browns, which, okay. I guess that makes sense if they're trying to ship out Miles Garrett. Cam Ward went to the Giants, Drew Sanders went to the Raiders. I don't think that's where he wants to go. But either way. Number 17 for the Bengals. I've got a few players in mind here. And doing it a little bit different this time. Last time I went best player available. Before we found out any news in regards to one of our D-line players.

Specifically on the edge. Before that news broke. And last time I took Walter Nolan. Which by the way he is. Not available. So Walter Nolan looks like was taken by the Cowboys right now. So I think one way to go here, just because we don't know what's going on in the camp of Trey Hendrickson and company. And I do like this edge player out of Georgia. There's obviously other considerations here. Like, for example, Kenneth Grant from Michigan, D-tackle.

Obviously Tyler Booker is another good pick Here as well I know one of you guys went Tyler Booker The last time around I think we both did I think Will and I both did, I'm going to go with the Ed Drescher out of Georgia Mikel Williams For my first pick at number 17.

In the Project Game Day Draft Guide Looks like he's a round 2 pick But however Based off this mock draft, database simulator he's like the 13th overall prospect according to this thing and you know i think he like best player available that we need i think that's him right now based off what this draft has presented so far so i'm going to take michael williams out of georgia all right well for myself. I'm looking at the draft board. I've got quite a few available.

You've got Malachi Starks, James Pierce Jr., Kenneth Grant, Lutzer Burden. Pretty much all the guys that I expect to be there. Although I'm looking right now, it looks as though Calvin Banks Jr. Actually may have slid, which would be a rather shocking surprise if that happened.

But I am seeing Something interesting Detroit wants to make a trade Okay So, Yeah, Detroit wants to make a trade So with that I am going to I'm going to see if I can pull off the I'm going to see if I can pull off the upset, Of the century so what I want to do, I am going to see.

Mock Draft Strategies

If because with the current standing of Trey Henderson we don't know what's going to happen as of yet, I am getting a first and second I'm trading Sam Hubbard to the Lions for their first and second round draft pick I don't know if this would actually go through so I'm also going to be picking at pick 28 so with that being said, and again this is theoretical doesn't mean it is going to happen I sincerely hope that it doesn't happen but this is the scenario that I'm playing out with

that being said I'm sticking like I did before my first pick at pick 17 is, excuse me Walter Nolan out of Ole Miss and then at picks 28 I'm going to go James Pierce Jr. Okay.

I've also been Offered a trade For 17 I don't particularly like it though I don't like the, Prospects of it So I'm gonna Decline The Raiders And the new quarterback Geno Smith Right Yeah Interesting dealings And there's some interesting prospects Up there, With Walter Nolan being one of them Obviously and Derek Harmon, Kelvin Banks Is up there that's that's interesting That's interesting, Hmm You know now See now I'm gonna see I'm They're gonna do I buck the trend

Here do I do what I normally do, Because they're they're They're the guy up there that they're the guy Available that I really really like And that's Malachi starts That's what I was getting ready to say, because I kind of had a feeling. For me, I like Xavier Watts. I really like Malachi Starks. Like, even more. I got him as my top safety. I got him, Watts, and then the kid from South Carolina.

But the pressing need, the pressing need over, hmm, the fact that there's only, there's really one good thing about this draft is that there is defensive line talent. And there's a lot of it, too. And there is truth. There is truth. There is a lot of, there's a lot. That's why it was, you know, that's why it's going to the combine next year, right? We got to really plan this out well.

Oh, man. This is tough. Oh boy, The good thing is they're not really going to have a Knees for tight end for some time now Re-signing Gusecki That is true Yeah Gusecki and Others, Another guy out there you know that we got Stashed away, Okay so really it's coming down to James Pierce there Will Johnson's there Kenneth Grant is there Josh Simmons is there Calvin Banks Derek Harmon Walter Nolan, he's down. Amarion Hampton. I know people like, hey, that's my high-end running back.

Good old Gray Zabel sitting there as well. Gray Zabel. That's just a great name. Isn't that a great name for a lineman? That is. He would be a great linebacker. Gray Zabel. That's what made my great name. From Notre Dame. From North Dakota State. He could be from anywhere Anywhere he wants to be known from Right? From anywhere Okay, but It comes down to Derek Harmon and Walter Nolan I can't lie As badly as I want to take Malachi Starks here. Could he play, would he be the immediate chess piece?

Because he's the opposite of Battle and Geno Stone. He's almost a combination of the two. Hmm. Damn it, damn it. But correct me if I'm wrong from the tape I've seen of him. He's a combination of the two, and he would fit well in the type of defense that Al Gomes likes to run.

He would Him and Him and Xavier Watts are Kind of opposite of each other They're both versatile, But they're opposite of each other Stops is really good At the box Watts is really good Away from the box, Not that they can't be interchangeable Because they are But their strengths are slightly different So with that being said Obviously the pick is Walter Nolan Of course I've been on this train for a while and I would jump off it.

You and me are both at the point. That's why when the whole thing with Trey Hendrickson, and that's why I continue to put the disclaimer, this may not play out this way, but I'm entertaining a trade with Trey Hendrickson. Get that? Which is why when I saw James Pierce Jr. Still sitting at 28, ergo makes more... I don't know about you, I think that's... You're fooled or not At least jump at it, I kind of sway you on James Pierce to continue to look at this man and break it down a little better.

The only thing with the only knock with James Pierce Jr. In my mind, and again, you have to also look at it and look at how if you look at the current state of defensive ends in the NFL. He's only about two mid to in the mid to 40s.

You'd want him to at least put on another 15 at least 10 to 15 pounds of muscle to really be able to because going up against some of the tackles that he's going to go up against, it's a little bit different than say playing some of the college, offensive tackles that he went up against. But otherwise like I said I don't think he's got all the talent in the world, so don't take it as me shitting on them, because I'm not. Alright, so am I turn now for round two? Alright, so I made a trade.

I made a trade to the Washington Commanders, and to my surprise, it actually backfired on me, because the guy I wanted, I didn't think, I thought it would be too much of a reach to pick a 49, and turns out he was like I thought he would go like maybe mid-second round. He went like at the very beginning of the second round. So that are like late or third round, excuse me, whatever. But whatever I'm saying here, the guy I wanted was I was wanting to pick.

He was jumping up on the board here. I was wanting to pick Tate Ratlidge. But guess who took him? They don't need him. But the Ravens, they took him. So, them dirty rat birds. Yeah. So, I'm looking here, and I'm looking at a position that we have of need here. Now, I actually like this player. I feel like he's had a solid combine. I like him out of UCLA, a linebacker by the name of Carson Schweisinger. Schweisinger? Yeah, Schweisinger. That's how you pronounce it.

Also, too, just now notice that apparently Chris Paul's son, Chris Paul Jr. Is in this draft, too. Yes, he has. Yeah. He's really good. So I'm looking at Carson here. Obviously, the line still is a need. Williams is still available out of OH. I know. But there's a name down the line here that I'm hoping to get because what I traded for with Commanders, I traded the pick 49. I traded them that, and I got in return, and I think I traded them a future fourth-round pick for next year.

So I got the 61st pick, and I got in return also the 79th pick, and of course I'll still have the 81st pick as well in round three, so I got an extra draft pick. So I'm hoping one of my guys will be there at 79 that I'm that I'm wanting to take here. That being said, I don't think I could pass up on Carson Schweisinger right now. So I'm going to take him with number pick number 61 here in the second round.

And I will also have two picks in round three. So you guys go ahead with your second round picks. All right. So, for me, I managed to make a trade with the Denver Broncos. I traded the compensation in next year's draft. So, basically, to make a long story short, I traded next year's in the year after's third and fourth pick.

I actually traded the next year's second round pick and third round pick, and then I traded a fourth round pick for the following years and got pick 52 and got pick, yeah, pick no, I think it's 60 and 81, so with that being said. With my pick I'm going to go because I think we have lacked in quality play at the safety position particularly at free safety, Since the departure of Jesse Bates So With my first pick,

taking Xavier Watts out of Notre Dame with my next pick for my second round pick. Ooh! And I got my... Oh, shit! And I got my choice of both of them. Both the Georgia boys that in the last episode that you...

For any of you that will have listened, uh, that we looked at it was a big big I'm a big big fan of both Georgia linemen Tate Ratledge and Jared Wilson, center and guard yep so and they're both sitting there right for the taking, so but the way I gotta do it, I gotta go Tate Ratledge for my second second round pick man You're lucky he lasted this long Because he went like mid-second round In my draft, Got a few ways to go here Mine So I didn't trade any of these two picks I didn't

like the offers Oh hold on I still got one more It looks like I still got one more pick Yeah I still got one more pick, Yeah because I took Xavier Watts Because I am at Yeah because I forgot I had another pick from, I forgot I had another pick from Detroit, so so with that, I'm going Jared Wilson. It may never, it would likely never happen that way, but I'm going with it.

Analyzing Player Picks

And, just so you know, in the third round of the NFL mock draft, Matt Aitzen Taylor is sitting there available. Do continue with I know I'm not taking him Pick number 49 though Oh no I get that I know where he's at No. You gotta say it at least once For me You have to, You gotta at least say it once for me Just saying You know cause everybody loves a good You know a good pick, And you know obviously This young man is What they got him right 78 No 70 73, Not bad not bad Mason Taylor.

They got a break in front of a kid In front of a kid that I've looked at a lot And this is Benjamin Morrison Right not that he's not my pick But I haven't seen him play Right because he got injured so quickly It was like okay can obviously The kid can play, Familiarity, help, right Notre Dame, you know, old Cam Scadaboo, right? That's right. Cam Scadaboo, the Bruiser two are that close. Right? Because, you know, he's always, you know, they got Alec Iamaner, right?

This kid, Robert C. Redder-Stanford, he makes some spectacular plays. I'd watch this kid play against, I'd re-watch Stanford in Syracuse. He made like two catches that I ain't seen make all your... I'm like, what was that? Outside of, you know, obviously, the super freak at Ohio State. We're not going to talk about it. That's another draft. Which genetic super freak are you talking about? The one at receiver, the kid. The Julio Jones clone. Mr. Smith himself.

You got to wait. We ain't got to worry about draft and all that. He ain't eating nuts. He got another LH.

There you go. He got another one, at least. We'll talk about him in two years Right Being an NFL receiver that just has to play In college, So it got real weird It got real dicey It's a pick that I wanted to trade, Right it's a pick that I wanted to trade I didn't like the trades Because the trade downs Were so dramatic, Like all the trades, With all the teams They're so low Well, see, the trade I made, it wasn't an offer from anybody. I made it on my own.

But I instantly regretted it because they took Tate Ratlidge almost immediately after I made the trade. Like, not the commanders themselves, but, like, another team. See, because I'm not going to trade with Baltimore, Pittsburgh. No, I'm never going to trade with both teams. Yeah, Baltimore took them, by the way. Right, because they picked really close to me.

So I just made it difficult. I wanted to trade. I did, I wanted to The teams that wanted to trade with me at this point They're too far away, You know, they're lower 60s I'm like, well dang, that means you gotta give me a couple picks there And some of the guys I want have to be there Which, there's no guarantee So there is a kid that is there, That I mentioned And matter of fact, before I take him. Unnecessarily Before I make a mistake here Let me look and make sure That my

next pick is actually there. Okay. Okay. Okay. All right is your next pick the third round Yeah, my next picks the third round pick so I don't have to make any moves. I got a plethora. I got the opposite of two or three guys, And I'm going to draft This may be I wouldn't call it a stretch Right, I don't think PFF would be I know PFF, They'll Strangulate me But wait If you take One guy here to fit this spot Don't you need to know.

PFF My pick is Jared Ivey Jared Ivey of Mississippi Right Okay, I watched the damn team play every game So Is he related to Jay Nivey of the Detroit Pistons That'd be great Get well soon Jay Nivey Yes Alright so for my third round pick I got two of them Two picks apart actually Pick 79 and 81 79 be in the trade, I'm going to continue to bolster the defense here because there's not really too many interior line prospects right now that I like.

There's one that's later on down the board that I have my eye on, but I don't think he'll go this early. And I'll get to that name here in a bit if somebody doesn't take him, which they should not, but anyway. All right, so he bolstered the D-line, And right now, we obviously – I drafted. Mikel Williams from Georgia, the addresser. I got a linebacker from UCLA, which, by the way, they gave me a C-plus for that pick. Screw you, Mike. Draft database simulator for that.

Yeah, screw you. I'm going to go with a defensive tackle here. South Carolina, home of the Gamecocks. With T.J. Sanders. He's had back-to-back impressive seasons for them. He wins with that athleticism, and he bursts off the snap, and he gets consistent pressure to the opposing quarterback. So that's the much-needed pass rush that we need, and then obviously getting him at 79 here, when according to this, he's a 63rd-ranked prospect,

and obviously a very good defensive tackle. I'm going to take T.J. Sanders here at pick 79, and then I'm back up again at pick 81. As the Colts, you'll never guess who they took, Will, out of O.H. They took Quinshawn Judkins. So, yeah. So they got a good running back there. Which actually, he's actually done pretty well at the Combine, if I say so. Like, he's had a really good Combine. Like, press the heck out of me. Like, you know. But anyway, I'm going to continue to bolster the defense here.

Because there's... Two years ago, Judkins started for Ole Miss. That's right. Continue. I watched him play. He was great. All right. As I continue to bolster the defense here, like I said, because there's an interior line and a guard that I have my eye on for the fourth round pick. But right now, this guy is still available, and he's actually going to have something in common with the last draft I had because this guy actually played under our new defensive coordinator, now Golden.

You guys know where I'm going with this. Safety Xavier Watts out of Notre Dame for pick 81. All right. With me, I managed to make two trades. I traded my pick that I acquired from Denver at pick 84 and moved up one spot to pick 83. But I also made another trade, which you will find out here with the Colts.

Traded them Jermaine Pratt Giving Pratt his wish to be reunited with Luanna Rumo To acquire pick 18 But with that being said PFF has this gentleman Put as a reach We earlier in the season Had the distinct privilege, To sit down once again With, With Jeff Hobson Who It's always a treat and I think Will and Tyler I think you would both agree it's always a treat When we get to talk to him Yeah we Yeah we, He brought up a gentleman by the name of Dion Walker Who.

Apparently is making quite a splash So With my First third round pick I'm going Deion Walker To continue to bolster up on the Defensive line, And with my next pick, I'm looking through my picks. I see Jack Kaiser still sitting there because I think Jack Kaiser would be, with trading away Pratt, I think Jack Kaiser would be an interesting addition to add. But with the loss of Eric Hall, I'm going to go ahead and get Mason Taylor out of LSU from a third round. Mason Taylor. Yes. No, it's a,

yeah, no, that goes to that question. So as I'm kind of kick around, kicking around trade here, I don't know, not, I'm not seeing, I'm not seeing much, I'm not seeing much like I want, because I want to, I want to make a good deal. I need multiple picks. And what I don't want to do, I don't want to trade this pick. Okay. I only got a offer for it. And the funny thing is that it's with Seattle.

Yeah. And their pick just is not good enough. The pick that I would get from them in swapping picks is a little too low. And there's a bunch of guys sitting here. And there's a few of my guys also sitting here. Down the road. Do I have the confidence that they'll be there at 118? Pick 118? No. So now it becomes a I wouldn't say a crapshoot It's not a crapshoot It becomes a It's down to I know where I should go with this pick As opposed to.

Of Mason Taylor being there. Terrence Ferguson also being there. Out of Oregon. Oh yeah, I didn't even say that. Chris Paul Jr. is there. Chris Paul Jr. is there as well. Which I've watched all year playing in front of Ivy and Pagese and Nolan. I watched them play in front of these guys. So, quick question real quick. You're talking NBA players. Is Kobe Bryant still there? Out of, what, Kansas? Is that Kansas? Yeah. He is still there.

Don't say anything. I don't want PFF and the other guys in the draft to know he's there. It's possible to take him. It's possible. It's possible if he's there. But I don't think he'll be there in 118. There's another guy, obviously, you know, that we know well. OH. I know. That will be there, hopefully. Right? Hopefully they, you know, but PFF, they tend to not, they tend to do things you don't like on it. So I'm going to take I'm going to take Jonah Syavanea. Syavanea? You said Syavanea?

Syavanea. I don't know. Syavanea. I don't know either. It's okay. I have plenty of time across this. Anybody in the comments section of a fan or whatever podcast.

So whatever Podcast platform you're listening to this on If you know the, Correct pronunciation Feel free to send it to us Because hey we don't like Butchering people's names we're not Intentionally doing it It happens Definitely not intentionally doing it but dang You know what If I keep talking about him and I just drafted him I'm gonna damn know his name yeah we'll know about camps you know we saw, that helps oh yeah so it's time to stick your up right mmhmm, third-round pick yet? Yes, it is.

Fourth Round Decisions

All right, so back to me. We're in the fourth round now. I picked 118. Like I said, I had an eye on a guy for a hard spot here. Unfortunately, my luck, and that's the theme with my draft on this, my luck is that the guy got taken, and he got taken by the Jaguars. I picked 106, and that guy was named Dylan Fairchild out of Georgia. Georgia? Yes. Yeah, that was the guy. Another Georgia boy. That was a guy. He's the fourth one. Yes, that was the guy that I was looking for.

However, there is another guy that I think could be sneaky good at this pick. Been undersized. He's very quick, and he gives maximum effort at all times as a blocker. I feel like the only reason why he's slipping down the boards here is just because of his size. Because he's only... It doesn't say his height here. But he's got great athleticism. He's got the natural leverage. He's only 5'10 and 270 pounds. And he's an older prospect.

But I do like the toughness on this player. He's a high-energy guy. He's got versatility. He has played both guard and center, and he's out of the University of North Carolina. I'm taking Willie Lampkin. North Kakalaki. That's right, JBL. I'm taking Willie Lampkin from the University of North Carolina at the guard spot in the fourth round. For my first, yeah, because we're now in the fourth round of the draft.

I also traded like I mentioned earlier traded Jermaine Pratt to the Indianapolis Colts for a fourth round pick so with my first fourth round pick select Jack Kaiser out of Notre Dame aha very nice very nice and then, with my other one I'm not gonna lie There is A little bit of Trying to There's a lot to choose from, I've got Gunner Helm sitting there ready And waiting but I don't want to completely waste the pick But I've also got Another Yeah Another.

Couple of guys sitting there waiting but I think what I'm gonna do, I think I'm going to go running back. I'm going to go Jaden Blue. At the University of Texas. Yeah. UPS, man. They said I should have took Kenneth Grant. Although I'm not against that. Okay, Kenneth Grant. I'm not totally against it either. I'm not totally against it.

Well, at least they didn't do like we did last year when they turned around and said that Oh hell no they gave me an F For getting Tate Ratledge And, Jared Wilson What do they know right Yeah that's what I'm saying, But do continue Will it is your turn Make your pick Alright, Trades have been You know Trying to trade with these teams have been You know stupid, They wanted to you know Bark at some of my moves Making this This is the pick

That need to be traded Because my The running backs That I won is gone, See And the other one I'm sure everyone Would consider it a reach Except I wouldn't Because of his First round Talent, So In these kind of situations What do you do, You want to You know You typically want to Trade the pick Right I don't have Yeah It would be ideal Yeah You don't have a clear guy to take if you want to trade the pitch. Normally. But the positions of need are still the same positions of need. Hmm.

Because in my first probably three or four mock drafts, I took a running back or receiver at this pick. Now, the last draft we did last week, we only did three rounds. It would actually look a little bit tender to this one. Right? It looked very tender. Not the same. But the wide receiver I took last time, I said, I don't need to do that now. I'm sure. I'm sure. And I did have to switch the PFF, unfortunately, because I don't know what the hell was going on with the old ESPN MyGraph simulator.

I'm like, I put in 2025, and it still clicked to 2024. I'm like, what, really? Really, you don't know what year it is, right? Yeah, you would think, but hey, what do I know? I know what year it is. What's going on here? I would like to. I don't like to proxy. See, I don't like the prospects of trading out of their round, and that's stupid. That doesn't help, right? Yeah. Trading out of the round doesn't help. It needs to be this round. The point of the draft, isn't it?

In most cases. Well, yeah. Did we not do four rounds? Why would I be the only one to not pick within four rounds, right? Pick somewhere out of the blue, right?

At my robbery with pffm who cares right care i'm not a i'm not worried about them maybe that's why we can't get nobody from pss to come on the podcast or we've had a hard time because you you you sell you tell them that their shits black no well it's not that you know but it's not pff fault this time this is espn mock drafts i'm there yes he ain't i mean screw me good time.

I don't care if they don't like my picks You guys know that I don't give a damn they don't like my picks at all I love you pal You know I just like to mess with you, I don't You know I'll say this If that is the reason why Right we can't get nobody from PFF Well so be it Until they change their ways Right Honestly Honestly, everybody knows I wanted Devin Neal as running back. Everybody knows that. That's very clear.

I made that note. You made that note. You made that clear from day one. I made that clear. Fourth round, fifth round, third round. I'd be probably fine wherever we take him. He is the compliment for Tate Brown. He is the compliment for Tate Brown. And he runs very similarly. So you don't have to change no plays, no none of that. He's fine out of the damn shot zone. He's fine under center. He blocks really well. He runs really fucking hard.

He can catch the ball. Now, Oli Gordon Oli Gordon is a bigger Devin Neal I'm a little worried about his combine stuff I didn't get to his combine numbers, Oli Gordon And Tyler can attest to this Oli Gordon was damn near The top rated running back Starting this year From what he did the year before.

Tyler Correct Now the fact that they didn't use him I don't know what happened there on Columbus State They just didn't, they just wouldn't use him I watched a couple games and literally cut it off till he wasn't running the ball. I'm like, is he hurt? No. What are you guys doing? Moving away from... It moved away from him. Now the receivers that I wanted to take, they're gone. And so to get a... to shake their head at me, PFF, they probably won't because

it doesn't matter. I'm also going running back. I did watch him play while his quarterback will get all of the sizzle. His quarterback will get all the shine from this university, right?

Final Draft Grades

His tight end will get a little bit more of the shine. Even some of the wide receivers will get some of the shine, right? But there is another running back who I know for sure can get two yards when you need three, can probably get three yards when you need two.

I'd be able to get four yards when you need three and that's Damian Martinez out of the U. 233 pounds of run over you of run over you that's 233 pounds run over you I like that, it's 31 I don't care but hold on typically agree or disagree on this from this respect Typically, if you've got a slasher back like Chase Brown, that's the type of running back you tip. That's the other complimentary back that you typically want. He is more of a sledgehammer than Devin Neal.

He is more of a sledgehammer than what's the kid? Yeah, Scadaboo. No, he's not more of a sledgehammer than Scadaboo. He's actually maybe he might be faster. Scadaboo is another one that a damn, like, put it this way. I hadn't seen Scadaboo until I saw that college The game that he put That he just basically was running Motherfuckers over left and right The game he had against What game was that?

It was Texas Matter of fact No, their conference The conference championship game Before that To the minimum boys Yeah. Put people on their butt Oh, yeah. He was damn good against all the other teams they played. I don't think they played. They didn't play BYU today. I don't remember if they did or not. Arnold, he was really good in most of the games, but he wasn't a freak of nature. Like the should have been Heisman Trophy winner. Right? Should have been.

Correct. There's one running back in that we know that is far and away better. I must admit, there are some guys that got maybe as much talent but didn't get the ball as much. Did you guys get your overall grades? Because I can tell you mine. Mine, gave me an overall beef because they, wow, they gave me a B minus on the Walter Nolan pick. We said that I should have went for me too. Should have went for Kenneth Grant, which I'm not against Kenneth Grant. But either one wasn't going to be bad.

But as soon as I made the deal with, with Detroit to get their 28th pick and James Pierce Jr. was still sitting there. I don't know about you. I thought that was a no-brainer. Yeah. But in the fact that they took the trade and then they gave me an A- for Xavier Watts and then for Tate Rackledge, they gave me an F. Which made maybe they don't value him as he's been climbing up the board. I don't know if they've taken that into effect.

I managed to somehow Someway and I know for a fact This will not play out On draft night That I managed to Snag Tate Ratledge and Jared Wilson because you're looking at Possibly replacing both guards, Yeah so Why the fuck If Jared Wilson is fucking still Sitting there why the fuck not But, that's what you do yeah so and then to turn around in the fourth third of my first third round pick saw Deion Walker still sitting there,

saying hey I'm still here guy come on over here and uh you take me hey I'll come play for you I definitely got a bone to fix a little bit with PFF so I'm glad they're gonna go next because they did not like my draft at all, And then Still going ahead and getting a Tight end in the third round And Taylor.

So Kind of like how you like to say Smith, You know what Please allow me to go Next and Share my disdain for PFF a little bit But not really Then I got Jack Kaiser and Jaden Blue, which rounded it out in a solid D, which... I just don't see where it fucking made sense to turn around and shit on Pat Lynch and fucking Jared Wilson. I want you to take another quarterback. Oh, God. The PFF? They did that to me like a couple times. Bo Nix. Hey, Bo Nix. Not because he's mad.

That's what I take, Bo Nix. We have the best back up in the league. Best back up in the league. Yeah, that's actually not true. He would. He wouldn't ever set me the best back up in the league, wouldn't he? He's the best back up in the league. And then we'd have to trade him down the road because, you know, he's getting old, not playing, you know? His preseason legacy would be in stone, but other than that, you're not seeing the field.

Yeah. Obviously, we got the same grade for our Walter Nolan pick, because why isn't that an A? I don't freaking know. Right? Don't know. That's okay. It's a position of need. He was one or two in the positions to be drafted. Right? They didn't dislike it. They just didn't like it enough. Okay. Whatever. Okay. Then the Jared Ivey pick, they gave me a B- because it wasn't a bad pick. But they said I should have took Alec Iamayor, which I would have took him. I would have.

But, you know, with the trade issues, they don't factor in that again. The state of our defensive line, they're not factoring in it. Or are they? Or are they factoring in it? Because if they did, they'd realize that, you know, taking a wide receiver again high, He'd have to be the best wide receiver, which I guess he was at that point, I guess. I mean, I could look, but taking a wide receiver at 48, I mean, I don't see that.

I don't see us doing that. Do you guys see us doing it? Taking a wide receiver at 48? No. Nor do I. I don't see it. Well, I was going to say we pick a 48. I mean, 49? Yeah, I was going to say I don't think we're picking a 48. Even if we move to the 48. and with the 40, do you see us taking it? I don't see that. I don't see one of our first two picks being a wide receiver. I'm not saying we won't take one. I'm not going to say that because...

I was not going to say it. Now, here's where the issues lie here. Silvia Venea. They gave me a C. It's interesting. Silvia Venea was the third-rated player on the board at the time. Right? Maybe they don't know he can play guard, too. No, maybe they don't know that. A C. And then by Damian Martinez, see?

He was the second-rated player on the board at the time. second rated player and a top running back which we need do we not need another running back didn't I know that all the other free agents, right Travion Williams and Evans and then Herbert and then Milton and they're all I don't know who's coming back any of them right we have no idea and then you know Moss we don't know right, yeah would you guys say within the first four rounds we should take a running

back if there's one available that good enough. I would think we would. I would definitely think we would because the type that we need, there's a few of them. There's quite a bunch of them, actually. Not a few. There's a lot. Alright. So, what was your grade? What was your final grade for your draft? They gave me a C. They gave me a solid B. So, they don't give me overall draft grades. However, I do remember each pick that got graded, so they gave Michael Williams an A.

They gave pick 17. They gave Carson Schwestinger pick 61. They gave him a C+, which I didn't agree with that. At pick 79, the D-tackle T.J. Sanders and 81, Xavier Watts, they both gave me an A+. And at pick 118, Willie Lampkin, they gave me a C+. Pluses are actually a bit better than what they gave me, but yeah. Next week, all three of us are going to do a different draft. Okay. Yeah, next week, we control all 32 teams, and we just pick the best player that we want. I did that, but I did that.

That's not what I meant. And I did the whole draft, and that would take a very long time. You know how long that episode would be? Far too long to explain and or to, you know, because I will tell you this. It was very difficult to draft for the Browns and the Chiefs, but I did it very unbiasedly too.

I was very unviolent, especially with guys I thought would leave and will and that are released, you know, that are free agents and try to replace their free agents with draft picks that make sense with guys that they would probably take.

I'm very mad at myself because I gave them, I gave him the wide receiver out of Oregon, not Taz Johnson, the other one The big one The big one, Let me think of the guy's name It's the way you said it, the big ones The taller one The big one, just the big ones The bigger one, you know Taz Johnson is small The big one He's small, There's another kid, he's really good They ain't got him rated as high, it doesn't matter He's really good I even had a Taking Will Shepard out of Colorado

It came down to Will Shepard Or his teammate John T. Webster. I've seen them guys play Obviously Jimmy Horn Jimmy Horn is rated higher than them But you know In the system In a return man type situation This kid is probably the best At receiver, I get that But yeah, we've been on here for maybe a little close to an hour. I say this is a pretty good spot to go ahead and close out the show. Yeah, absolutely. You good with that, Will? Sure. Tyler? I got a chance to see Jalen Royals. Okay. Yeah.

And I think Jaden Higgins might have stayed as better, but that's not really an argument. It doesn't really matter. They're really close. All right. I kept looking at Royals. He reminded me of somebody. I'm like, wait, I did all this Big Ten, and Big 12 at SEC looking at linemen. I'm like, well, the skill guys, they count too, right? Cornering safety and wide receiver, they count as well. Yeah, they do.

Tune in to find out Yes That's the big question The answer is probably no Probably not Probably won't let's say take him. Then if he's gone Then I'm going Kenneth Grant, Sure then I would probably take someone else Yeah Same with the same With that being said On behalf of Tyler Will and myself Again these are mock drafts This is just stuff that we DC and the fact that we did some trades tonight.

I don't know that it's going to play out. I don't think it's going to play out quite like, especially mine. But like I said, this is just a fun exercise to see who we would think the Bengals would pick or who we would hope the Bengals would pick. So with that being said, again, on behalf of Tyler Will and myself.
