'ДАВАТЬ' (Imperfective aspect) // 'ДАТЬ' (Perfective aspect) - to give – давать книгу, - to let – давать разрешение, давать свободу, - to afford – давать возможность. Imperfective verbs have Present, Past and Future tenses. Perfective verbs have Past and Future tenses, no Present tense.
