We're shaking things up a little in this episode of Rhythm Encounter with a new host, a (slightly) different approach to recent music, and a lot of "new game" tunes. We search RPGs both new and old, Japanese and Western for some of the finest tracks to start a fifty-hour quest with, from title screens to opening cutscenes to battle music. Stephen has a thing for vocal themes, new host Caitlin Argyros passes the rigorous Rhythm Encounter exam, and show regular Mike Salbato pays homage to the wonderful sounds of the SNES. Join us for a lot of feels, a huge helping of nostalgia, and the chance to hear Stephen rendered speechless (on several occasions) due to awesome music.
