The Plight of the domestic workerBatanayi (Bat) Manyika is married to Vanesha (pronounced Vanessa). Vanesha is French, and Bat is Zimbabwean. They met at Mattersey Hall Bible College, UK, in 2005. They are a part of CityHill Church, Johannesburg, where Bat is teaching pastor. Vanesha works as a French tutor for a private company. Bat holds theology degrees from the University of Wales and the University of Stellenbosch. He is currently doing his PhD in New Testament with the South African Theological Seminary.
