Advent in the Psalms: From Chaos to Peace

Psalm 46

If ever there was a year of #unprecedented global chaos it was 2020, at least in most of our lifetimes. As we continue our journey through Advent, we now look at Psalm 46 where we are encouraged by the picture of God as a mighty fortress, where we can find peace in the midst of the chaos that occurs in the world and in our lives. Through Jesus, God has brought us peace, bringing God’s presence to us, and bringing us into God’s presence. Therefore, even in the midst of the chaos around us, we can be still and know that He is God, He is with us and He will be victorious in the end.
