Hello guys. So first we're going to start with running down a quick what happened in last week's episode.

Nolan and Selena's Undercover Operation

First, Nolan and Selena go undercover to try to catch some criminals. It starts off with the daily routine, and then it quickly turns into life-threatening hostage situations. While undercover, on a city bus, the two police officers were forced to navigate high stake high stake crisis when an armed suspect takes control of the vehicle, threatening the lives of everyone on board with the bomb.

With limited resources, Nolan and Selena must use their training in an instance to de-escalate the situation while trying to protect the passengers. Let's break that down. Okay. So We all knew that was happening'cause I was in the promo. But Selena undercover is definitely something I didn't imagine. Like I would actually love to see her take role undercover. I would love to see that happen. Especially because we know Lucy doesn't really want to go undercover that much anymore.

I mean she does, but she also wants to, you know be a sergeant and when you become a sergeant, like Tim said in this episode, which we'll get into, is that sergeants like the are like the sidelines and I would love to see more undercover stuff. Not with Lucy because Lucy needs to get over that path. I'm sorry, come at me, whatever. I just I don't see her

in a career like that. I see her as a TO or as just a sergeant. Like I don't see her or maybe a Tic Tacted if she ever gets there.'Cause we know that didn't really go as planned. So yeah.

Angela and Harper's Investigation

Next is Angela and Harper work behind the scenes to identify and track down those responsible for the attack and try to figure out like why they're attacking the bus and everything really. That whole entire thing was very like I love seeing the mom cops working together. Like we see them a lot working together because they're both detectives. But when they work together, it's always it's always just kiss. It's always so good. And I just love it. I

They're those two are like the most amazing people. Like I met them in real life and they're so sweet. Like they're just like their characters, but you know, less tough, less more less mean, and they're just so sweet. And The way that they portray their characters on screen is phenomenal. When they dig deeper into the case, they figure out that those two just wanna have money.

Um, and they want their money before they, you know, blow up the whole entire bus. And if they don't get their money they're gonna go psh with the bus and obviously that didn't really go according to plan because Selena kinda jumped in and then one guy got shot.

And then Bailey comes to the rescue, which we'll talk about that in a little bit. And yeah, I didn't really, you know. Also the pregnant lady. Hello. We'll talk about that in a minute. But the other storyline that I'm very excited to talk about.

Tim and Lucy's Relationship Test

Tim and Lucy, they are riding together in this episode. And Tim was like, you know what? I'm gonna give you the rails. So Tim decides to let Lucy make all the decisions for the shift. And their professional relationship is not very smooth right now. Because another personal relationship's a little rocky right now, which we'll talk a little about in a little bit. And I'm very excited to talk about. But it was a Tim test, pretty much to see if Lucy tries to prove herself.

to see if she's qualified for it. And we all know how that went, that whole entire talk, which was a very big deal, which we'll talk about. Now, as the episode is coming to an end, Monica Which I literally hate her so much. But I love her in real life. I love her character. I love her not her okay, I don't like her character. Love the actor, hate the character.

makes a surprising return. Okay, well it was a big spoiler when she was literally the cover of the episode on Hulu, which is like a big spoiler for everyone who couldn't watch it live. It also raises some like suspicions like what is she doing back? I mean She got that government thing with the pregnant lady, which that was like kind of a plot twist. I I film my reactions every night. I don't post them, but if you want me to post them, I can just let me know in the comments.

of this episode. And it really was like, Are you kidding me? Could she just go away already? Like she's really pissing me off. Like she just she's really annoying. I don't like her. Don't don't like her character. Her character literally Just no, just absolutely not. No. Just no. I swear I bet Seth is behind all this whole entire thing, which we're not talking about in this episode because he's a piece of poop. Okay.

It was a lot of action, a lot of character drama, twists. I was engaged the whole entire episode. I was literally locked into my screen and it was very entertaining. I'm very excited to see the rest of the storylines play out, especially with Monica because we don't know where it's going and hopefully I did see in the interview that we're gonna hopefully find out who's behind all this big bad and watch it be stuff. I'm putting my money on it right now. Okay.

Now let's dive deep into the oh juicy stuff.

Chenford Relationship Deep Dive

Did it emotional, emotional, did it hit any emotional spots? Yes. Okay, we're gonna talk about Chenfer. We had Chenford movement this episode, which was very, very good. I think

Lucy is really trying to forgive Tim. I mean, she did say, When I forgive you, you can help me study. So we know she's gonna forgive him eventually. It's very rocky right now. They did hook up a couple weeks ago, and I just I want them to get back together so bad, but I do also understand that in a relationship when two people break up, it's very hard to go back into that relationship.

with like, you know, trust automatic and, you know, just automatically automatically back to normal. That's not how life works. And I know this is a T V show, yes, but they're, you know, pretending that it's real life and that's not how real life works. You have to build trust, you have to communicate more and especially Tim and Lucy need to communicate more, especially Tim. He doesn't know how to open up to people like Lucy does because Lucy was raised by, you know, Two un

I forgot what her parents do. Are they therapists or social workers? Something along those lines. So she, you know, and she also went to school for some of this for a while and then she, you know, quit and then, you know, became a cop. So and Tim, you know, has a rocky relationship. His dad abused him and

his mom is out of the picture as far as we know. And Jenny is tried to help Tim to open up more and talk to his dad, but that really didn't go well and that kind of started the whole Chenford going upwards when after that in season four. And yeah, they they have a lot to work to do to get to the point where

they want to both be in a relationship. They do want to go back to each other because Lucy did say that she's not looking to date anybody right now. She's not dating anybody right now. And neither is Tim. And we know Tim still loves her. I mean

Did we not all watch seven hundred oh eight? She he literally said, Of course I still love you. Do you? It doesn't matter. I'll take that as a yes. So we both know that they still deeply deeply care about each other. It's just Lucy's not her walls her walls were down. But now they're kind of built. She never really had walls for Tim, but now she has walls against Tim because, you know, Tim did break her heart really badly and that kinda. stuck a wrench and everything and I mean

If I was Lucy, I would run away as fast as you can't ever go back to the g person that broke my heart. But I'm not Lucy. I'll take Lucy's man off her plate, but I'm not Lucy. Okay.

Standout Moments and Character Pairings

big standout moments. I loved all the little crumbs we had. Like they started in the beginning talking about her life and how she misses the five percent of pay more that she was getting and Tim was like, Yeah, five percent is a lot more than you think it is and it's little moments like that, it's will get them back. I mean their friendship is starting to, you know, build on.

But besides that, Melissa and Eric gave a wonderful performance. I think they always do this every actor in this it's an ensemble cast and everyone did a fantastic job and it was really really really really good and I'm so good. Another another duo that I didn't expect was Gray and Penn.

Richard and Dearc, like they're they're like that little duo right there is actually so funny. Like I need to see that again. Like the last little part of the episode was like when they were betting against who's the better um barbecuer, like that was actually good. That was actually really, really good. And I would

Yes, I we need more of that. Like group hang out, you know, Papa Gray, like he be making ribs and so so is day pen and like they have a whole family bar barbecue. Like I need that. I need that. Alexi is not a it's not a need, it's a want. It's not a want, it's a need. Here's my credit card, like take it. Okay. Okay, now we gotta talk about Bailey. Okay, I love Jenna. Don't get me wrong. Don't get me wrong. I love Jenna. She's amazing. But I'm not a big fan of Bailey. Nor do I like her that much.

The stunt scene was good. I mean, she jumped from a moving SWAT car to a moving bus. And I mean, Jenna just hit a baby. Like doing that kind of cra like shit. Like that's crazy. Like that, oh lord, please. But I mean, Lucy was an OG, was the OG of it, so. Now, what do you guys think? Do you think the episode was

Too much? Was it too little? Was it not like just right? Like how much did you like it? I liked it a lot. I think it was a really, really good episode. We've had really good episodes this season and they don't leave me sad. They don't leave me devastated. like season six, episode six did. They don't leave me devastated.

and sad and wanting to cry in a corner. Like they're like they're action filled. They're m like they get me involved. They get me jumping up and down and all that. And I love that in episodes. Like those are the episodes I love to see. the especially like when the whole group is working together. I I love those episodes. Like episode five, like the Valentine episode not episode five season five, episode sixteen was I think the Valentine's episode.

And when they all work together and I think episode seventeen too, when they all work together to like take down Elijah and take down the meth lab, like that was just like I love those kind of episodes. I love when they work all together and it just

reminds me like how this show started'cause they all started working together and then they started like, you know, going their own paths. And I just love when they all come back together. I think that's really good. But what do you think? Hit me up on my social media in the comments here.

Jaw-Dropping Promo Theories

that jazz. Okay, now okay, now we're gonna talk about the promo. Which just dropped. And if you can't tell from my social media, I've been posting about it. There's lots of unpacked. Sorry, I'm laughing. I can't laugh. we see Lucy show up at himselfokay we know that We s okay, we s it jumps to her like inside. We don't see her come inside, but we see that she does come inside. And well, we all saw it. She kissed him, or he kissed her, either way, either door, I want to know.

What do you guys think will happen? I think I've heard a lot of theories. My theory is it's before shift because we see that Melissa posted an episode and uh uh posted a TikTok in this outfit. And she had like cuts on her face and bruises. And she didn't have any of that in the promo. So I think it's either I think it's before shift or after shift and she's just cleaned up, but that's

I mean that'd be a really good cleanup if she decided to go after work, but I don't I don't think that's the case. I think it was before shift, but it could go both ways. It could both both ways. Don't don't quote. But what's weird is that she was just talking about boundaries. How they need to set boundaries and they talked about that in the sh in the car. They were like boundaries, you know, boundaries are important. But yet she shows up at his house.

Like why is she coming over and kissing him? Like, girl, make up your mind like you're You are confusing someone. You are confusing the audience. You are confusing you are confusing Tim, I know for sure. He's probably like, uh I mean look at the way he opens the door. He's like She looks at her like what the hell are you doing here at the middle of the d in the middle of the night? Which comes to my next theory.

I can't remember who said it, but it was a girl on TikTok that I watched like her And she was saying like What it like did she wait until exactly midnight to like did she jump in her car at 11 50 p.m. and then drive over there so it hit midnight so her be like, oh it's April Fool's, so which means nothing count nothing matters?

Like did she wait till like like that would be crazy. If she did, I mean she really tried to get her man back. She really want him. She really, really, really does want him. But Oh I miss them so much. The promo was that that part definitely was jaw dropping. I mean

My reaction I mean, it wasn't like crazy, like I mean, if you saw my reaction to the hookup episode, I mean yeah. I mean it was just a promo though, but I mean the actual episode will probably have me up and down screaming like I did for the hookup episode. Yeah. Anyway. Literally in my f in the video I posted it was I was like

m daw dropped. I was like my mouth wide open. I was like, uh oh my god, did that just happen? And I was like, what? No. Like it was it was so funny. Go watch that if you haven't watched it. Um but yeah I'm very excited. But like girl, make up your mind. You just said you wanted broadgeries and now you're hopping over hop wanting to jump his bones? Like what? That makes no sense. That makes absolutely no sense.

Make up your mind, girly. Make up your mind, girly pop. Like, my baby girl Tim doesn't need that. He doesn't need he doesn't need you confusing him. Like, I know you're heartbroken, but don't mess with me. Which comes to if it is before shift, they definitely get interrupted, which could lead to the prank.

They could prank each other, not prank each other, they could prank the station, because we know they're pranking the station, that they're they're back together. Which I mean if it is before shift that would be they they drive, you know, to the station together and everyone's like

Why are you guys driving together? It's like what? Like one AM? Like why are you guys doing together? You know, and I I think that would be a really good prank, but that would also like hurt me a little bit because I'd be like, Don't do that to me, like don't. But it could be like how they

Fake dated for undercover and that's how they started they stu that's how they started to realize they had feelings for each other and then they started dating. So if this happens, they could start dating again. But slowly, because she wants boundaries. Like she said, but yet she's coming over and, you know, kissing him and making him out. Which is another thing.

The door is wide open. And we know that Tim has cameras. And my friend, let me pull it up real quick. My friend on IG, on Instagram, we were texting. We were texting about the possible theories and she said like what if someone robs Tim's house or like breaks in the Tim's house and they have to go through the cameras? And they or they see Tim and Lucy just making out in the doorway because the door is wide open and we know they have cameras. You know? Or

If it's after shift, this is that was before shift. This is after shift theory. That Tim gets like seriously hurt or Lucy gets seriously hurt and realizes like she may not have enough like She may not have enough time to forgive Tim because in police work you never know. Like, you may not, you know, come home. Like you, you know? And so maybe Lucy realizes, like, wow, like. Shh, I she needs like I need to forgive him fast. Like I might not have enough time, you know? And then you know

She shows up and does her thing. But if you ask me how many times I watched it at Primo, I'll just say yes. I watched it. Like I'm not gonna tell you how many times. And it's just I'm so good. I miss them. It's not funny anymore. Get back together. But the little move she does in the doorway, she's like moving her shoulders like, Girl, you're just asking for it. And there's this when

You're when we're fa when the promo switches to Tim's face and Lucy's back, you could like see that she's smiling. You could see that Melissa's making Lucy smile. Like her cheeks are like up her little bunny cheeks and like Tim's like Uh-huh. Uh-huh. And then Lucy's like mm-hmm and then they you know, kiss and we all know how that goes. I really do I really do want Tim to

push her against the door or I want her or want him to lift her up and take her to the bedroom. Because we know that Tim gets a bedroom this season. Because we saw I saw we all saw a behind the scenes photo. So we can't get Tim's bedroom with I don't I don't think it would be Tim's bedroom.

of just him sleeping. Like I don't think that. I really don't. I highly doubt that they would do that. If they do that, I'll be like, Ugh, really that was that was pointless. That was really pointless. Like why'd you do that? I really do think maybe it's them in bed together and then coming up with a plan to prank the team that they're back together.

Uh or thumb cuddling with Kojo. I really, really like that more than them figuring out a prank, like thumb cuddling and then Kojo like right by the end of the bed. I would like that a lot actually. I I would really like that. That would make me feel really, really happy. I have high expectations, okay? I have high expectations.

Future Storylines and Predictions

We're gonna start wrapping this up. I'm very excited for The episode. April Fools. I'm like so And I wasn't supposed to originally film Not film, but films less record. This episode I wasn't going to review any of this. I was not gonna do any of that. I wasn't just gonna wait until April Fools came out, but now I was like, now I have to. Like there's so much Ten Fruit movement in this podcast, in this uh episode. And I'm like, I have to talk about it on the pod. I have to talk about it.

And did a promo and I was like, oh yeah, now I definitely have to f now I definitely have to record. And I'm very excited. I'm super excited for this week's episode. It is Saturday for me. I don't know what day it is for you guys, but it is Saturday for me. So we have Counting today, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. We have four days counting today, three days if you don't count today. I'm very excited. And I just want to thank.

the producers, the writers, everyone. This episode was amazing. Especially the promo. Um, I'm very excited to see where this episode leads because we see that the social media intern Posts like, you know. Like, you know, crime is a free-for-all for three hours. Don't call us. That's not a funny prank. Another thing uh I should talk about is before we wrap up, is that a new rookie? Hello. I think I think that might be a prank. I think someone's pranking Nolan because no way the BTS that I posted.

Um, behind the not behind the scenes, but a sink peek. It was it was it was a rookie bumping his head and like how does he have 12 months under his plate? That's what no one said. And I was like, no but that has to be a And Lucy and Selena riding together, very excited about. We'll talk more about that when the actual episode airs, because we don't really know much besides Tim and Selena are riding together. Lucy shows up at Tim's house and makes out with him. And Lucy gets hurt. Fire.

crime. A lot of that's pretty much all we really know for next week's episode. Hopefully Seth doesn't come back. I don't wanna ever see Seth again, but we do know he comes back because supposedly people saw

Him ba on set like after he was supposed to leave, or he posted stuff on set when he was supposed to be gone by then. I really don't know. I didn't really keep up with Patrick's behind the scenes. I was 'Cause I wasn't really, you know, I was like, Oh new rookie, but now I'm I should have because he's such a major character now and all the storylines that could happen with him.

are like T, like they could be so good. Lucy could get kidnapped, Tamara could get kidnapped, Tim could get hurt, or all three of them could get hurt, you know. We are getting we are they are getting sued, which leads me to, we saw in a behind-the-scenes photo, Tim's in a suit, Lucy not Lucy, Tim's in a suit. Penn is in a suit and Wesley's in a suit. Wesley's always in a suit.

But why are they in a suit, you know? Maybe because they're testifying against Tim. Not Tim. Well, Tim's gonna testify, but maybe they're testifying against Seth or they're testifying. And that's that's that's my only thought. My original thought was, you know, Tim proposes to Lucy, but that doesn't look like it's gonna happen because they're not even back together yet and I don't think that it's gonna be a proposal. Maybe at the end of season eight when we get a season

Which don't even talk about that because I swear if they don't get a renewal, I'm gonna throw a bit. I'm actually gonna throw a bit if they don't get a rhythm. I'm gonna throw my hand. It's like absolutely not jump out of the window, like I can't do that. The show means so much to me.
