Episode description

America's Podcaster, Kurt Caceres, was born and raised in the state of California. He sits with a group of current residents to pose the question "how much will it cost you to move out and leave California?" Bob Marley wrote the famous song, Exodus, which ties together the Biblical story of Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt to to be led to freedom. 2020 is no different. People are leaving California and many other popular states in a mass exodus because of factors such as high taxes, crime, cost of living and quality of life. But the city of Tulsa is offering $10,000.00 to qualified individuals to move to their city, relocate and start a new life. They are trying to diversify and also pump finances into their struggling economy. The question is asked, "is money worth your happiness, or the place you call home?" This current Exodus from the major metropolitans of the country is no different than any other in the history of the world. The people are fed up, it's time for change, time for freedom.
