A Friend in Need

Our brave heroes have cured the pox in the docks, and take a moment of rest in the Yawning Portal. They’re rudely interrupted when a troll climbs out of the portal and heads straight for them!

To help give more detail to the city, we’re using the awesome Waterdeep City Encounters supplement from the Guild Adepts on DMsguild.com.  It’s really well organised and give lots of additional memorable events to help bring the city to life, and incredibly useful when PCs wonder of the beaten track looking for things to do that aren’t part of what the DM’s prepared!
