weekend. All the blossoms will probably be pelted off by the rain. But you usually have about a week to enjoy the blossoms and then they're all gone. It's very fleeting, it's very symbolic. You can enjoy the wonderful blossoming cherry blossoms like Vick is describing so eloquently. Right here in Burbank off of Hollywood Way, there are numerous cherry blossom trees that line Hollywood Way here in

So did Tyler Glassnow, so I don't know what else you would want if you came to the game yesterday.
Well, when you speak of the MVPs. Dave Rodney and I were chopping this up earlier. I mean, care about it is one thing to think about it as one thing. My god, to see all three of them up there, one after the other after the other, that that is really imposing for the other team. Yeah, what point does the pitcher have any chance to really exhale? And then after you're done with those three guys, you have to deal with Will Smith and Max Munsey and James Outman and Tioscar
Hernandez all threats to go deep as well. So this this offense is going to score runs. That's not going to be an issue. You just hope on those nights where pitching is really good that their defense will cooperate. Yeah, yeah, it's it and we'll get to the defense. But it's scary to think about that because one or two of those guys can be off. And I know we're all focused on the top three and the MVPs and all that, but like you mentioned Will Smith, Max Monsey, I think Will
Smith's gonna have a big year as well. But Max Munsey and Tiascar and Jason Hayward and Gavin Luck, I mean it feels like Gavin Luck hitting night is another leadoff guy. Man. Every time we looked up Dave, it's felt like the top of the lineup was up right. And that's the problem as well. You're gonna get for us other teams, they're going to get four or five looks at the first three guys in that order and then the rest of those guys. So, like I said, the offense, it's
stronger than it was top to bottom last year. What hopefully they can keep everybody healthy? What what does what is concerning you so far? Dave? With the defense as we look in the first three games of the season and starting to go forward, well, I feel like for the Dodgers it's that left side of the infield. Are you going to keep Mooki healthy? Well, obviously Dave doesn't have the answer to that because that's when we just lost
him. Are you going to keep Molchi healthy? That is, did we lose him or did he just oh he's paused, he just paused, Dave? You back, Yeah, I just feel like honestly, so yesterday was not an issue defensively, but as the season unfolds, especially the first two months and when the Dodgers go on the road, and colder weather, and there are going to be days that pitching is going to be better than hitting is. Are they going to be able to make plays in close in late
games? That's the only thing. It's not something that I'm worried about twenty four to seven because they have a lot of talent to make up for certain things. But I think as the season goes on, that's something if you had a poke a hole in this team, that would be it. Is it something day that it'll get better with time or the guys are just who they are. I think it's who they are. The only way it could get better is if we know the Dodgers decide Mooki Betts playing shortstop most days
is not good for him or the team. It's you want to It's not just about making the plays. It's about keeping guys healthy. And shortstop puts a lot of different wear and tear on a body, and that's why most players leave that position in their thirties. They don't move to that position in their thirties. Yeah, and that's a valid point. You know, we
talked to Dave Roberts about it yesterday. You have talked to him as well, and Molky's going to be there until I decide maybe it's not a good idea for him light in the games, or if they have to move him. But for the foreseeable future, Dave, he's there. He's not going anywhere. Well, you saw it yesterday. It was a blowout game and they brought in Miguel Rojas to play shortstop and they moved Mooky to second base. So maybe that's their way of load managing, and we'll see how it
looks today. As far as the starting lineup, we haven't seen it yet, but there's a lefty on the mount for the Cardinals. Are the Dodgers going to opt to have Mookie play second base and then go with with somebody else at shortstop, because the plan seems to be they're going to platoon Gavin Lux against righty's and have a lefty and excuse me, have him in there against righty's and then have a right handed hitter against left handed pitching like today.
So I'll be interested to see our first look at the Dodgers lineup against southpaw southpaw pitchers. I mean, and Chris Taylor could get a nod here too. No, yeah, for sure, he would probably he could possibly be at second base, or they can play him in left field and fly Taoscar Hernandez to right field for Jason Hayward. Yeah, Todd of glassn as you mentioned, had a good day. How did he feel? How did you feel the team field? I keep before at his opening home start,
I thought it was all around a great day. I feel like Glass now was incredible. Oh, Tani was incredible. I think everybody.
