7. Oregon Coast Road Trip Adventure Without a Plan

It helps to have reservations, however, by the time Jeff and Patti left Portland, Oregon, their route had changed. Forest fires diverted them from heading south to Lake Tahoe to instead making their way to the Pacific West Coast. They had so much fun winging it. In Tillamook, Oregon, they stayed at a Harvest Host, The Blue Heron French Cheese Company. And Jeff and Patti visited the Tillamook Cheese Creamery. Without a plan, they found some wonderful campgrounds, including an Oregon State Park campground right on the beach, and a harbor view RV park in Garibaldi, Oregon.
