¶ Chuck Norris Jokes And Tribute
Welcome to Robert Tony's Cinematic Adventure. I'm Rob Wilson. And I am Tony the Quano. So Tony, did you know that when Chuck Norris was born he drove his mom home from the hospital? You drove around to the hospital? Yeah. That's impressive. I know, right? Hmm. You probably had a full beard too. Fall beard. Fall beard. Yeah. And did you know that Chuck Norris could divide by zero? This I I did know this one, but I'm also a math teacher, so I I need to know these certain Trek Norris jokes.
Yes, and and and I'm sure that that you use those well in your math class. É assim.
¶ Missing In Action Overview
But yes, that's that's right. We are continuing our Chuck Norris tribute with another episode. One episode was not enough for the legend that is Chuck Norris. We had to do two. We had to do a second one. And this is one that I recall us watching. Yes, me too. Yes. Me too. Me too. Yeah. It was We had to stop it multiple times. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Rewatch that one shot. It was it was wonderful. It was wonderful. And it was wonderful again. Not quite as wonderful because You knew it was coming.
Same room together? Yeah, that too. So now we're talking about it and so it's still wonderful. Yeah, yeah. It will always be wonder it's one of my favorite shots in any movie, and we will get to that eventually in this episode. Great shot and it's a uh this very iconic chunk. Norris. Yeah. Yes. And so I th I think it's so appropriate that we are doing this to honor him. I agree. And yes, the movie that we were talking about today is the 1984 Chuck Norris Classic. Missing in action.
Which is actually part of like a trip. Trilogy. Yes it is. It's the first in a trilogy. Even though originally it was not supposed to be the first. Really? They I th m my understanding was that they uh filmed us kind of back to back. With the second Okay. And I can't recall exactly what it was that convinced them to flip the order of them. Okay. That's what happened. Oh, interesting. Interesting. So yes, we uh the first time we both saw this movie was when we watched it together.
And Uh d did we watch it more than That one time? I think you probably watched it in the We watched it at least twice. If not three times, but I haven't seen it since we last watched it together. Yes, exactly. That was years and years ago. And then this is one that w came in uh after Lone Wolf McQuaid. Yes. His next his next film, right? And it was successful enough at the box office. You know, it kind of helped kind of cement himself as being more than just that martial arts guy.
That he could carry an action move. Yeah. And I I'm I'm not exact you know, I I guess it's finding the time to rewatch a movie and you know I was I've uh I would kind of regret it not having watched it again. Me too. Bye. I think after having watched it closely with Loneworth McQuaid, I probably prefer Loneworth McQuaid over this. Let us make this a bad movie. Yeah.
¶ Movie Themes And R-Rating
Maybe agree to that. I mean the last half hour of this movie was fantastic. A few plotting. There are some plotting issues with this one. And I I love this the the this I love the the wonderful colorful characters that that were introduced to Yeah there are other good uh characters in this movie. Um but that just doesn't it's not filled out as much. Like M M at Walsh is the only other kind of uh Large like roll.
Yeah. Uh save for a few kind of uh antagonists, but largely the antagonists are just Other random soldiers. Right. It's really more about his mission. That's the uh the main Objective in this movie. And it's uh kind of part of like a subgenre of kind of action war movies that kind of literally throughout the early mid eighties of kind of uh Capturing, you know, or rescuing uh POWs.
Yeah. Which is uh you know, again, because it has been a while since I watched this, it's kind of a uh Kind of one of those things that we've kind of thought about a little bit as we know the years have progressed and um other things have happened, whether it be other um wars or other major events. Right? But um you know, throughout the you know, late seventies, the eighties, early mid nineties, you know, the that um that shadow of Vietnam was always there.
Yeah. This is a movie that definitely takes place now. Right. Uh we call an action movie, but it has that war flavor because he's going basically back into a combat zone. Yeah. Yes. Uh and it you know and it it largely works well. And you know, like you said, like the the last you know twenty, thirty minutes of this movie is like this all out Guns firing, yeah. It's a one man war. I mean this movie maybe should have been called Lone Wolf McQuaid.
Rather than He's much more of a lone wolf in this movie than he was in that one. Ha ha. Yeah. I I I did have that thought also. You know, it it ends up being different, right? So I this is something that I wanted to bring up about Lone Wolf was that Uh the this movie is an R. It's definitely an R. Not just because of the violence. No. Th there's a couple of s small little scenes. Mm-hmm. Um Couple small little scenes with big old titties. Yeah.
Uh but Lowell for Quaid, again, this is it was nineteen eighty two. It uh it got a PG rating that Chuck Norris lobbied again, I'm sorry, eighty three. Uh Chuck Norris lobbied for, right? It originally had an R for violence. Yeah. I mean that was also back in a time when there was nothing between PG and R. Exactly. And so he basically his uh moti you know, his argument beyond there not being a lot of blood was that his character was inspiring. That he was.
And that's what that's what's enough to convince the MPAA, like, all right, we'll give you a PG. That's what won em over. And this character is kind of inspiring in this movie. Yes he is. But this you know, this w rightfully gets an R Um and then it wouldn't be long after this would come out that um finally they would have that PG13 uh rate. Yes. So but anyway, uh which probably is what Lone Wolf McQuaid probably would fit into. This again, this is an R rated movie. Yeah.
Even even if the PG thirteen rating had existed at the time, this still would have been an R. Yeah. It'd be an R just for its poster. Yeah. Yeah. Ha ha ha. It is a great poster though. I love that poster. Might might be my favorite Chuck Norris poster. I think it might be mine too. Even better than side kicks. These are You know it's it's even s it's it's spewing. Yeah. Yep. It's spewing.
¶ Key Cast And Character Dynamics
We can leave it at that. Go go look up the poster. So well yeah, it's it's a uh A Chuck Norris action military movie through and through. It's a eighty it's pure eighties type movie, just based off of that. Yes. Yes it is. Absolutely. It's a h hell of a movie. Um But beyond Emmett Walsh, I always love Emmett Walsh. I do too. Eighty. He is he is cool. You knew you were in for a treat. Yes. And it's funny that you know so M M at Walsh is in this movie. Who was also in Blade Runner?
Last time when we talked about Lone Wolf and Quaid, William Sanderson was in that movie who was also Good good point. So How many more movies did Chuck Norris do with people from Blade Runner? Did he just love that movie and he wanted to work with everybody in it? ご視聴ありがとうございました Why wasn't there ever a Chuck Norris and Harrison Ford movie? Why was why did he never work with Ridley Scott? That's another good question.
Edward James almost We should we we uh we we are planning to do Blade Runner one of these days. Yes, yes we are. We are planning on doing Blade Runner. That is that is a favorite here. Which version of Later Runner do we Do which version? Mm. There's like fifteen of them now. Yeah, there's so many. Also this movie also has Lenora Castorf as kind of one of the other uh main roles and then uh James Hong I always love seeing James Hong and stuff.
Yes. And it's a like he's not really the primary like antagonist, but he is probably the most noteworthy of the antagonists. Yeah. He I James Hong is just great. Yes. Yes. I I like his his his Wikipedia photos him holding up a cover of big trump vulnerable China. Which he was the main antagonist in that one. But you know, again, he was in Blade Runner. He was also in the airplane. Right? Yes. That's right. He wasn't Blade Runner. So two people from Blade Runner's movie.
Yeah. Did he know he was in Revenge of the Nerds too, Nerds in Paradise? I did not know that, but I wouldn't be surprised. Uh i i That's one I have not seen. I've seen the first Revenge of the Nerds, but I have not seen Revenge of Thursday Nerds of Paradise. And then lastly, you know, be before we kind of jump into it, uh John Claude Van Damme's in this movie. Yes he is. But we can't we can't forget James Hong's greatest role. Balls of Fury.
Gracias. It's been forever since I've seen that movie, to be honest. But yes, Jean Claude Van Damme is in this movie. But uh he's basically a stunt man. He's like a uh a soldier he's one of the uh you know, he's doing stunts as an like a soldier, as an extra. Yeah. I'm kinda one of those background guys you see.
Um especially in the action-oriented movie, a lot of those background guys that are extras are kind of studmen. Mm-hmm. Kind of like the guys that got blown away at the beginning of Lone Worth McQuaid when he's just Yep. Yep. But yeah, it's a uh it's a nice addition to the the filmography and canon of Chuck Norris. Yes. Yeah. It's an excellent example of just a good fun Chuck Norris movie.
And this is another movie where like again because he does spend a lot of this movie by himself and he's brood he's brooding in a lot of this movie. It doesn't require him to have a lot of range. Right? But fits him perfectly. Yeah, yeah, it does.
¶ Opening Action: Jungle Grenade Jump
So I I think this yeah, I think this is a uh I'm glad we're following up with this one because it's again, it's a little different than Lone With Book Quaid, which is kind of again that near Western. Now this is more that kind of war combat. Mm-hmm. Uh Chuck Norris movie. Yeah. So you know, it they they they fit nicely within kind of the what people would have expected from him at that time and how he grew his legend. Yes. Or how his legend grew.
Um I don't know if I have much else to say about that for right now. I don't eat I I say let's just get into it. All right. Well, as always, spoiler alert, we are going to be talking about this entire movie, beginning, middle, and end. So if you have not seen it, you don't want to be spoiled, pause the podcast, watch the movie, come back and listen. If you have seen it, or you just don't mind being spoiled, keep on listening. But you have been warned.
You're gonna spoil every bit of Chuck Norris' awesomeness in this movie. Yeah, yeah, yes we will. And that also starts early in this movie. Yes it does. Yeah. Yes. We were popped right in the Vietnamese jungle. We don't start out with, you know, a lone wolf walking across the desert. And it's not really even him first. It's other soldiers. It is it is other soldiers that we see first. Yeah. And you know, they're right in the middle of the Vietnam War.
And they're trying to escape out to this rendezvous point where their the choppers are gonna meet them, right? And they're gonna kinda rescue them out from where the the Viet Cong or try you know shooting across the you know, their through across rivers, up ridges and trying to get to this clearing, right? And Shots are going off and seeing the chopper the choppers come in. Right. But nobody yells, get to the chopper.
Although if they did, it would be Chuck Norris just calmly saying, get to the chopper. It's not it's hard not just to just any movie with a helicopter, especially yeah, people are ready to do it. Yep. Like e you know, even like when even Jurassic Park is just escaping from the control room after the T Rex has just chowed down on a couple of Velociraptors. Yep. Arnold's right there. Just to help utter that line. Yep. And it it kinda looks like, you know, we uh
You know, we we eventually do see um Chuck Norris as one of these soldiers you know trying to get get there. He seems like he's kind of one of the the uh the commanding officers. Yeah, he's a current. Rally all of them. And you know, we we finally get that we see, you know, the choppers of land. Some people get on, some are getting up and you know, some of these guys are getting shot before they get Chopper chopper.
And then So choppers start taking off, and then this is when we actually start to see Chuck Norris. A couple of choppers have taken off and so Chuck Norris is we find out. I wanna get him into the act. And you know, one of'em gets shot and falls, so he picks him up and he throws him over his shoulder. And so he's got his M sixteen in one hand and he's got this guy over his other shoulder. He's just running through the jungle, shooting at shooting at Viet Cong. Yeah. And then, you know, he...
he starts getting shot at. So you know, he puts the guy down and he's sorta ducked behind a tree. And uh At one point in here. Like at one point in this battle, right, the Vietnamese soldiers are are shooting mortars. And one guy takes a direct hit. One guy takes a direct hit from a mortar. Yeah. Ha ha. He just disappeared. Okay. There is no Saeed! Not yet. We haven't done our lost podcast yet. Yeah. But anyway, so
One point Chuck Norris he's you know he he's trying to he's trying to to help his guys, right? He's trying to help his his men and He makes his way up into this little like tree house. Yeah. You know, it's it's just this this like watchtower basically that's up in the trees a little bit higher than And everybody else is description. And, uh, There's these two Vietnamese soldiers that are down there just Right. Trying to trying to mow down his guys.
So You know, uh on his vest he's got some grenades. Ha ha ha ha ha. So he takes two of the grenades off of his vest, one in each hand, pulls the pins, He's probably gonna die anyway trying to get a chopper, so he just jumps out of this watchtower. You sound this like guttural noise. And the one guy's try the one guy's like bayonetting one of the guys that's on the ground. He just keeps on poking them. He just keeps poking the guy with the bayonet. Like he's not like
He's not stabbing and slicing or anything. He just keeps poking him in the same spot. Hey, hey You wake here, bud? You wake. Ha ha ha. I was until But yeah, so Chuck Norris just dives out of this. This watchtower. There's something about it. Holding two grenades. And you know, his legs are out, his knees are out extended out, he's got the two grenades, he's got the Chuck Norris beard and he's growling at these guys as he jumps Yes.
And I I'm convinced that his beard is what protected him from the explosion.
¶ Braddock's Return And POW Debate
Cause he falls down there and then you just see this big explosion. And then he wakes up in his bed at home. Back in America. Yep. And he he's in this little like kind of cheap like one bedroom like you know apartment. And you know, he turns the T V on, there's the news and it's like the summer he's got a a little wall A C like hotel A C wall type unit. And they're talking the news they're talking about. these soldiers that that were missing in action. In the Vietnam War. Right.
And there's a debate about are there still soldiers that are. Are there still soldiers that are over there that are POWs? And one there's one proponent proponent for the possibility that they are that there are still POWs there. And that is Colonel Braddock. And we realize that he was a POW for some time before finally being able to this is the escape or they let him go. Uh I can't remember which one it was. Yeah, I'm trying to remember that too.
He was there for several years after we got out of Vietnam. And then he came home, you know, and again, you know, led to believe this is a big news story when he gets home after being And this has become a thing where he still believes r that Vietnam is not telling the tr the Vietnam Vietnamese government's not telling the truth. They're more American soldiers being being held captive in POW camps. Because while while he's sitting there watching the news, he looks out the window.
And He has another flashback. He say he hasn't a flashback and they're all kind of being all these um soldiers or all these prisoner you know, American soldiers that are prisoners are just being kind of led on this march. And uh and he's one of'em. you know and the Vietnamese soldiers start picking on one of his guys. Yep. You know, they're threatening to shoot him and uh So Braddock, Chuck Norris, tells him nope. Take me instead. And I didn't listen to him, and I dropped out of the guy.
Of course you don't. But uh but yeah, so they're being led down this river in a line. Um basically being used as a human shield. Yeah, right. Mm-hmm. Against the American forces that are in the area.'Cause the Americans start firing mortars over at'em at the at the Vietnamese. And they're landing real close to where where these POWs are are walking. Yeah, and then we get back to the apartment, back to the present day.
Yep. And the uh you know, it's still, you know, the newscast is so on and there's uh Uh like US Senator that is gonna be leading this um diplomatic trip over to Vietnam to talk about this issue, right? Yeah. And he uh he has his aide that's with him. He's talking about they want Braddock the c you know. They want Brown to come with them, but he has said no. He doesn't want to go. And then it no longer is then does he change the channel or is it just what's on next?
It's what's on next, I think. I can't remember where it is. So yeah, so the news the news broadcast changes, it it ends, and now Spider Man is on. Oh it's Spider Man, yes. Yeah, it's the Spider Man cartoon. is on. And so he's watching Spider Man swing through the city. You hear Stan Lee's voice Yeah, his narration. And then we're not going to be able to It's like a light bulb comes on and Braddock said. But next thing we see he is out meeting with the Senator.
Well before he does that, he gets he decides he needs to finish off this TV and he routes up. Oh yes, that's Trust kicks his TV. Yes. kicks the TV and blows it up. Yeah. What's it? Have a T V explosion.
¶ Diplomatic Mission And Confrontation
And then he's meeting with like the the senator. So you know, he's agreeing to go to Vietnam. Right. And you know, we see them kind of meeting at this airfield, right? before they uh get on a plane to yeah uh fly over to to Vietnam. And the senator asks him, he's like, Hey, so what was it that changed your mind? I thought you were gonna come. And I really wish he would have said Spider-Man. Your friendly neighborhood Spider Man would have been a great line. Well who said that. No, P just said.
That's That's for me to know. Ha ha ha. Like don't worry about it. So you know, they get they get over Vietnam and you know Yeah, so you have David David Tress as Senator Porter. And then Lenora Castorf as Anne. He's sort of the senator's aid. So... She goes along with with them on the plane. And you know they land, right? And you know, the the typical thing, diplomatic, kind of welcoming, right? And, you know, Anne's there when this g gets off and there's this he sees this one guy, right?
He's kinda got this uh he's you know kind of got this pot belly and he's got this goatee going on and he's looking at him. And we recognize it. Recognize that guy? We recognize him because he was in the flashback. He was the dude that was the head of the prison camp. This is General Vin, played by Ernie Ortega.
Right. And you know, he has another flashback of him like, you know, torturing Braddock. You know, it's like yeah, he you know, he held him be captive, you know, he you know, he's telling her about it So, they kind of, you know, He meets also before they kind of go into the the meeting. Kind of the the lead uh one of the uh kind of the high ranking general the general Played by James Holland. Yeah. Right. And um, he's trying to be a bit diplomatic, but Chuck Norris is not diplomatic.
No. No. You can tell he he just wants to roundhouse kick this guy. But he doesn't do it. He doesn't do it. Yeah. So yes. We we finally get into the meeting. You know, the media's there, right? We got media, you know, American media via probably media from all over the world. Right. It's it's a big thing, right? You got cameras. They got, you know, um video cameras as well. And General Trent is leading this meeting.
So basically General Tran has been wanting Braddock to come out and answer for the war crimes that he committed during Vietnam. During the Vietnam War. Yeah. You won't go into specifics about the w about what the war crimes are. he won't he won't He just keeps on saying he committed war war crimes. Yeah. War crime. But yeah, and so he they he brings out all these like peasants. That are gonna testify against them. Who are clearly under duress.
Clearly. And he he goes you know, he go Braddon gets up and he kinda walks down the line and gets the last guy and the guy kinda heads his head and doesn't want to make eye contact. Cause he's just kinda he just walks up and he's just staring at each of'em. Just that Chuck Norris stare. And he's like, I didn't want to do this. They forced me to do this. Chuck Norris is like he's like he looks at um he he he has that recognition like It's okay. I won't roundhouse kick you.
Ha ha ha. So General Tran, you know, orders that they you know get him away from the from the peasants. Yeah. Because he's he's upsetting them. He's clearly upsetting them, right? Yeah. You know, and you know, they they they continue to deny That any uh POWs and then anyone that has anyone that was held was guilty of a war crime. Right? They they keep kind of Yeah. And now they wanna lock Braddock up for his war crimes. They know they can't. Right?'Cause that would be a very tricky situation.
Mm-hmm. So but you know th they're they're looking for that opportunity. You know they're looking for that opportunity. But you know, we we cut to the the after party, the dinner. Yeah. You know, they're there and everyone's really dressed nicely in track door. Every tribunal needs an after party. And everyone else is trying to have this nice conversation and be diplomatic. Speaking of the way Chuck Norris is direct.
We didn't even mention when they're on the plane. The senator was talking to Anne, and he doesn't think that Braddock should be going with him. He doesn't think that he's gonna be effective. I mean, just look at the way he's dressed. That's right. Right as Chuck Norris walks up to him. Ha ha. Yes, yes he would. Yes he would. He would crap bigger than Jack Pallins, by the way. Yes it would. He would crap he he craps a bottle. Why? Why why didn't Chuck Norris ever do a movie with Jack Palant?
That would've been great. That would have been awesome. Yeah. Anyway. So w with you know, and y he's there talking with Anne and Tran and Trans trying to get at him. He's like It's like why is it that you left your soldiers? You know you know they would have been released if you would have just had we can't we can't it of the the war crimes that you committed. Yeah, there he goes again, talking about just general war crimes. What do you think? Yeah. General war crime. Ha ha ha. Right.
And of course, you know, again, you know, he's... Not gonna be diplomatic. He he's not gonna be outright antagonistic yet. Ha ha ha. You know, and this little this little dinner ends and you know, they they put them up at this nice little hotel there. Um And Anne and him. You know, th their rooms are on the same floor. They're basic almost across the hall from each other. Well they're down level for each other.
'Cause yeah, she's sort of got the end room and he's sorta somewhere in the middle of the hall. And you know, but sh they're making sure that they have um soldiers. Keeping track. Oh well it's Gradic in particular, right? Yeah. So We you know she you know the aunt's like oh you wanna c you know and come in for like a nightcap? She's like no I think I'm just gonna you know retire for the evening. And you know, I think you know, she's looking, you know, kind of hopeful that he might come in and he
¶ Hotel Infiltration And Tran's Demise
Blowing her off. Right. So you know, they they go to the rooms, but you know, Chuck has a plan. Yes. Or Braddock has a plan. So Anne has clearly taken a liking to him. Like during the party. Doors come off. I know, I know She just wants that beard to tickle her. Face wants to be a tickler face. Get your mind out of your pants. And so...
He goes to his room, you know, and he's changing there. He's doing a few different things, and then he has a change he has a change of mind. You know what? He is gonna go over to her room. Mm-hmm. Well no, he says he tells her she asks if he wants a He's like, yeah. Yeah, sure. I'll meet you through a few minutes. That's what he says. Yes, thank you. I'm sorry. So yeah, this so he goes in, you know, and then he comes back in and as soon as he gets in the room, he is der But first.
She answers the she answers the door in a night count. That's right. Yeah, she does. She has to the door in a nightgown, and so he walks in and you know she go and he brings a bottle of champagne and a couple of glasses from his room. And then so she turns around to walk into the bedroom area of the hotel room and he just starts stripping. Yep. He's wearing his boxer briefs. Yeah. bit of a drink first and a conversation, but if you want to get straight to that. I mean she's not stopping him.
She's not trying to stop him. But yeah, then he starts putting on all black. A black t shirt, black pants. What are you doing? Right? And he says I just just wait here, I'll be back. Mm-hmm. And he just he gets he goes off the window. So he goes out the window and he's on the balcony And he starts climbing down the balcony. You know, jumping you know, jumping between balconies. He's a friendly neighborhood Spider Man.
He wears all black. Yeah. He doesn't have web shooters. But he doesn't need web shooters because he's Chuck Norris. All of those are accurate statements. So he climbs down and she's she's sitting there just watching him go and and he's he sort of has to sit there and wait. He's he's climbing down the uh the drain pipe. And there's some soldiers walking down on patrol below him. So he can't just drop down or they'll see him.
Great. So Anne grabs one of those champagne flutes and she just drops it and it shatters on the ground over in front of her room. So those two soldiers go and check it out, and when they walk around the corner, then he jumps down and moves on through the bushes. So he makes it to the general's mansion. Mm-hmm. And you know, he makes his way all the way to Trans Rome. Yeah. He sneaks through the house. You know,
Train li train sleeps in kind of a classic four post type bed. Mm-hmm. He sleeps kind of like you know, like Scrooge, right? Chuck Norris gets in there, Braddock gets in there, and he has a question for him. Where are these POWs? Where are the POWs? But he doesn't just ask him. He sneaks up, he pulls his knife out, and puts it right under his chin. Yeah. Hox him just enough to wake him up. And asks uh and then he asks them where the POWs are. And then don't lie to me. I knew where you lie.
He tells them oh the uh oh I think it's supposed to be the Delta region. Something like that, right? Mm-hmm. And so then he goes to leave the room. And General Tran, like he he sleeps the little gun on his bed. Yeah. So he grabs that gun and he points it at at Braddock. But Braddock knows what's going on. He sees em he sees him draw the gun and so Braddock just throws that knife and it sticks Tran right in the chest. right in the chest. Perfect shot. And Ball's bat. Tran drops dead.
He falls back into his bed. But not before he felt Fires that gun. Fires that gun. That'll hurts all the guards. The guards. And so now he has to sneak out and, you know, it's kind of this little chase as he gets out of the mansion. And now, you know, uh the obvious suspect is Braddock. Yeah. And so
¶ Bangkok Chase And Finding Tuck
He is trying to race everybody back to that. This is nineteen eighty three, where they can't just text the guards or outside his rooms like, Hey, how about you check on his room to see if he's in there? Right? Nope. The guards have to go from the general's mansion all the way to the hotel so that they can check out his room. And he's on We kinda get it. Trying to outrun them. Trying to get back there. Just kinda sneak back up, climb back up the the balconies.
And he comes back in to To Anne's room. Just as they are knocking on the door. Yeah, just as they're knocking on the door. He quickly tries a disrope. Yeah. So he he he starts stripping down and he grabs her nightgown and just yanks it down. You get a quick shot of boobs. You get a quick b like side boob shot, right? And so Then sort of pushes her into the bed. Yeah. And then the soldier. And they just Break open the door. They just break open the door and he just turns and glares at him.
Like they just interrupted something. They just perform quite as interruptus. Jack Norris does not need that. He can just stare and just go Yes. Yeah. Yeah. I mean she was I'm sure she was probably pregnant before he left the room. Even though his his boxers never left. No? No. Because that's Chuck Norris. Mm-hmm. Like, I'm sure he's been in here all night with you. And they nod and he's like the general's like how can You leave tonight and you be gone. And you stay gone. Or you be gone.
But please enjoy your tea party Ha ha ha. In fact, here was my chopper. You can tell your love other lovely lady that you crashed your Honda. Thank you, Zed. Ha ha ha. And so, you know, and it seems like Praddox didn't comply, he's gonna leave. Mm-hmm. Yeah, they take him to the airport, but no. He leaves Vietnam. Yes. Yes he does. Yes he does. For Bangkok. He gets on the plane. And a couple of those guards get on get on the plane and they follow him to make sure he gets on the plane.
American. He goes to Bangkok and he gets off a plane but does not get on another plane to go to America. But there's someone that he knows in Bangkok that he wants to talk to. Yes. So he ends up at this little you know, again, it's Bangkok. I I I love how they just make Bangkok like this The classic C D underbelly. What some time? I love that.
He goes to this bar the bartender's like smoking a cigarette, you know, he's like, I need to know s I'm looking for somebody. And then it's like, mm, and he just gives him some cash, right? It's like, oh yeah, I don't like know who that is and he wants to know where he is and well yeah, he needs to get more cash to find out where he is. Right. He tells him where he can find this guy, right? This guy's name is Tuck.
Tuck is an American living in Bangkok Yeah, so he tells them that Tuck is mo will most likely be found at the local brothel. And he walks in there and it's just full of naked people. We can see why this would not have NPG even back in nineteen eighty. But before he gets to the brothel though, he's he gets into a little car chase. Oh, that's right. You get the hardcore taste. They follow him. And he spots him and Yes, that would have been awesome. That would have been awesome.
You call him Colonel Bredick! No time for love! No time for love! Anyway, he finally loses them and then they they kind of crash the these guys and He's off to the broth. Mm-hmm.
¶ Acquiring Weapons: The Kevlar Raft
So he gets there, rooms full of naked people, and he finds Tuck in bed with like thr it was it three or four women. I think it's I think it was three. There might have been a fourth one in there somewhere. And Tuck's like Hey come on in, grab a girl. Because that's the type of buddy M Emmett Walsh is. Tuck is played by M. Emmett Walsh. And I love it. It's M. Emmett Walsh that is the one that's just You look at him like Him? Well it is a brothel.
Is it brothel with baggaka? I mean, come on. Yeah. Anyway. But he need he Duck has something that is will be useful to Braddock. A boat. And Tuck also has other contacts that would be useful for Braddock that will help him with guns. Helicopters. Yeah. And assault raft. Yes. And so they go on a little adventure in Bangkok as they go procure the items that They go and they meet with Tux contact. About the raft. And he's like Oh I love this.
Big raft. You know, he pulls he pulls a sheet off of it. It's got this cover on it. He pulls the sheet off and shows them and it's this this big reveal. It's this inflatable Big report. It's inflatable like military grade raft. And it's got an M sixty mounted on it. And You know, Braddock looks like he's like, it's a little bit more than a little bit. That's not gonna work. One bullet is gonna it's gonna deflate.
And so the guy has has his little buddies henchmen, his buddies, just unload with their AKs on this thing. And all this goes bouncing. It just yep, nothing nothing penetrates it. And he's like, Kevlar, the same thing that's in your bulletproof vests. Ha ha ha. Yeah, this thing's made out of keflar. So now he is Okay. Okay. Right. Interesting. Climbs on it. Behind. He climbs on it and he gets behind that M sixty and he looks down. Yeah. And there's an ammo can next to the M sixty.
That's full of ammo. So now it's negotiation time. And so as Braddock's talking to him, he reaches down, he opens up that ammo can, he pulls that Yeah. He he he pulls that that chain of ammo out, that that belt. And uh, you know, flips up the top of the M sixty, you know, puts the loads it up. And the guy's like, twenty thousand American dollars. Mm. And Brian is like, and the guns? He's like, Oh, you buy the raft, I'll throw the guns in free.
Well she know, okay, yes, that that's that that part's reasonable, right? So he's like Is it scary? Excuse me. Five. Excuse me, five? Yeah, five. It's like no, I c I can't do five. eighteen. Seven. No fi fifteen. Fifteen. And Braddock slowly slowly turning this gun. Forward the guy, right? Yeah. Eight. He's like no uh nine, nine. He's just like Mm-hmm. Not nine. Ha ha. So they I think they settle on eight. Yes. And so now he has an assault raft. And all the guns you'll need.
And all the guns. Yeah. And uh one in particular that we will discuss later. And he had also made a deal with a guy at the back of the bar about a long range helicopter. With a pilot he could trust.
¶ Ambush And River Escape
So Yeah and now we realize that while they've still been around Bangkok. General Vin's still been there, you know, tracking what he's doing. Right. And so he's back in his room and they're gonna you know, they've uh discussed that they're gonna leave soon, right? You know. But when he gets back to his room, there is someone waiting there for him. Kinda like the guy in Temple of Doom waiting for Indy when he gets back to his room. Yep. Yep. But uh
Not waiting behind a curtain. Behind a tapestry. No. He's waiting in an armor. Did he come from Daria? Ha maybe. Yeah. So... So Braddock opens the armor door and the guy jumps out at him. How does it go for the Armour guy? Not very well. He's he's he's trying to sneak attack Chuck Norris. It doesn't end well for him. And then we realize that, you know, there's other guys across the street. You know, they're they're checking out what they're doing.
this and yeah after Chuck the you know Raddock dispenses of him They shoot an RPG. They shoot an RPG, like they're across the street from him, hiding in this little doorway. And they fire an RPG at Braddock, who's like twenty feet away from him. You know, he dodges it'cause he chucked Norris and it hits the wall behind him and blows up and there are some some civilian casualties.
Yeah, because like it's the type of type of thing. It's like a two story building. It has like uh like a little hotel like rooms above it and these other like shops below it, right? And everybody else kinda everybody who's not like part of that explosion kinda just acts like it's another day in Bangkok. What do you do? I mean sure there's some people freaking out and running around, but the majority of people there could just kinda just go up go about their business.
It's it's kind of like it falling down. Like there's a drive by shooting, but they mostly kind of ignore it. It's like, uh, we have drive by shootings. Most of them don't involve Michael Douglas. But still! So this ends up leading to this. this chase where as he you know, cause now he he is racing to get to see Tuck. And Tuck has a uh you know, kind of like a little um first mate. Yeah. That goes with him on his his boat, right? Yep.
And but you know, these these other guys, you know, from Vietnam, they're you know they're they're chasing him. And you know, Chuck is able or Braddock's able to commandeer this large like uh truck. He gets this truck. And then some of the Vietnamese soldiers are like getting on it. Raiders had lost Arc style. Yes they are. Trying to get up to where they can shoot.
Also does not go well for them. No. No, the the one guy that actually makes it up to the cab, drops down onto the hood, and Braddock just hits the brakes. Yeah. Yep. Yep. But most of the guys who are in these cars they get knocked into the the the water or the bay or the harbour and their their cars, right? Yep. No no there's not a Walhom stream of this movie. It would've been funny the the scene we're gonna reference later.
¶ Vin's Final Attack And Tuck's Resolve
Yeah. Anyway, so he gets he gets on the tux boat and they ride off and um Right. But a you know, as they're leaving there we have Um Vin, General Vin, you know, he's seen this and now he's he's gonna try to get a boat to follow them, right? You know, and you know, they're they're ride you know, they're riding along and Yeah, I think that's a good thing.
water it is. And uh, you know, Vin's kinda following along and he's even getting onto the boat somehow in the middle of the night. Right? And he thinks he's gonna stink up on Braddock. No, he is wrong. He is wrong. One could say Yes. That would have been a good uh one liner in this, but Alas, it is not and so they have this uh the scuffle ensues, right? And Vin has hit his choice is he's got the like this hatchet. That he thinks he's gonna to dispatch Braddock with, right?
Hey, if his guys couldn't take him out without an RPG Ha ha ha. How does he think you can take him out of a hatchet? Yeah. Ha ha. Yeah. You know, they uh maybe they kinda dislodge the blade of the hatchet from like the handle, right? They're just fighting with the They're fighting with the hatchet head. Yeah. They're just holding on to that and swinging at each other. Because it's Chuck Norris, Braddock's finally able to like kinda turn around and he just
Yeah, he just shoves it like like Thorinthanos. He just shoves it into his chest. Just slowly just pushes it in there. Yeah. Like like it's almost like the missing puzzle piece for General Vin. Yes. You were missing this, here you go! And you know, then Vin as you know obviously he he drops dead and they're able to continue their river cruise quite nicely. Yes. And the next day like they crossed.
You know, they they call in you know the rock and Emily Blunt show up in the boat next to him on their jungle cruise. Sh Bob Denver shows up. But yeah, they they they finally cross over into Vietnam Vietnamese waters. Right. And then we finally get to this point where like, you know, they they uh they they they reach this point where they're gonna um brags and get off. And Tuck realizes, you know what, he's too much into this now and he he he's committed to this. That's right.
You know, and yeah. Braddock knew Braddock knew what was in Tuck's heart that Chuck would never actually abandon. No. Tuck great Tuck's uh Tuck tells him, you know, you need somebody to watch your back. You need somebody to wait with the boat. Make sure it doesn't get taken. This is probably the reason why that Braddock chose him, not just because he has a boat. But he does he's trustworthy.
And he knew that Tuck would step up when the time came. Even though this whole time Tuck's like, Oh, you're gonna go in there by yourself. I'm not gonna c I'm not gonna come with you. You know I'm gonna stay back on. I'll enjoy my time hanging out in Bangkok brothels. I'm gonna hang out on my boat with my boys. You're gonna go in and you're gonna, you know, rescue all of the. Norris. Stuff. And now at the last minute, Chuck is about to push off in his raft.
And Tuck is like, wait, wait, wait, I'm coming with you. You need somebody to watch the boat. You need somebody to watch the raft. So you know, he tells his little first mate there, like the wait there. So and Braddock had told them if I'm not back in twelve hours, leave. Mm-hmm. And so w after Tuck gets on the raft and he's like, Hey, give us fourteen hours'cause he doesn't want to go. Ha ha ha. And he realized that you know, sometimes best laid plans. You know?
It seems like Tuck Tuck has some military experience in his past. Yep. He might be living a certain d direction now, but in you know, he and we discovered later, like he definitely seems fairly skilled. Yeah.
¶ POW Camp Infiltration
Uh yeah. And so you know, they they get to this other point where they uh they get off the raft and tucks away in there at the raft and Now Braddock's gonna start sneaking through the jungle. It's not long after, like he actually kind of, you know, encounters a few soldiers kind of walking through And it's like three it's like three of them. And one kind of falls back behind a little bit and the other two go forward.
And that when it falls back also and gets this This this tingling sensation yes that happens when Chuck Norris is around. Yes. of a a knife going through him. Not just any knife, it's Chuck Norris's knife. Which is an instant kill. Yes! If if you even get scratched by Chuck Norris's knife, it's an instant kill. Shooting Chuck Norris's room with an RPG is not an instant kill. But getting stabbed with his knife?
Going up against Chuck Norris is like going up against somebody who is playing his odd job in Goldeneye, a multiplayer. It's almost impossible to cause any damage to him. I like how the other two guys just kind of a Don't even recognize this guy's fallen behind and been murdered by Jeff Norris. They're like, Oh, Steve back there, he's always fallen behind. And so Chuck Norris is he's gonna continue to the jungle now being Chuck Norris.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Gotta wonder if this is where they got the inspiration for Metal Gear Solid three. When he's possible sneaking through the Vietnamese jungle. I guess maybe it's not the Vietnamese jungle that he's in. Or maybe it is I don't know. You know, and he sneaks through, he encounters a few more soldiers, he dispatches these guys. No. A couple get suspicious, right? He dispatches those guys. Yep, yep. Yep, he's just dispatching guys left and right. Right. To the raft.
He sees Tuck again and Tuck's ready. Tuck is ready. As soon as some he hears it like He's ready. First, he gets to he gets to the uh Mm-hmm. The camp. Yeah, it's value gets to the camp, it's right. Yes. And so he doesn't he doesn't go back to Tucky yet. He goes to the he gets to the prison camp and you know, it's nighttime. Yeah. And he you know, he he cuts through the barbed wire fence. I I love how he just kinda just casually cuts to it. He he's got a little you know, wire cutter.
Yeah. Right? And he cuts through the barbed wire fence. Yep. He climbs in there, he starts setting C four. In different places. He's just he's doing stealthy Yeah. It's awesome. You know, no one is none the wiser. Chuck Norris is just sneaking around. Yeah. And he finds a group of POWs. And these ones aren't American. And you ask them where the Americans are.
Oh is that oh they already they yeah they knew you were coming or they they thought no. Yeah they say they knew you were coming like They moved them. Yeah, you'll they're they're in a truck on their way you know to this other camp. And So he blow up like all this the C four before he discovers them? Yes, he does. He blows up the C4. And then he discovers the guys. He asked him where
Yeah. So he blows up so the the guard tower goes up, the main building goes like blows up, all this. And he goes and he finds he finds the the soldiers that are there, the POWs, asks them where the Americans are, and they're like They're in this truck, they're on their way to another camp. And so He like you know, he gets a hold of some of the Vietnamese guards guns. He's like, here, you guys need to get out of here.
And they're ready to freedom fight these guys. Like I don't know what their backstory is. I wanna see the movie about them. I do too. This main guy that he's talking with Chuck like I don't want to mess with this guy. No. No. Ha ha ha. He is he's probably the Chuck Norris of whatever coun country he comes from. Yes. There's like an alternate ending of this movie where he comes he just hang lines in. And saves the day with an AK just mowing anyway. Maybe. I would watch that movie. I don't know.
Chuck Norris just looks like, Boy my god I saved that guy. Uh
¶ American POW Rescue And River Battle
So anyway, so now Chuck Norris, uh Braddock goes back to Tuck. And Tuck has dozed off. Yeah, I mean it's it's been more it's been s like it was the nighttime when like he's kinda going through the skin. Yeah. Back at we're like we're back kind of like at dawn, right? Yeah, we're still within that fourteen hour window. But it's you know, it's been several hours and Tuck has dozed off. And so Braddock comes over and sort of Signals to him and he wakes up.
And he's like he does the whole Oh oh I was awake the whole time and he's like pointing his gun around and Actually. is watching. Uh So they get on the boat, he tells them where they're where they're supposed to go. So they get on the boat on the raft and they're going back they're going down the river to try to beat this truck. That is carrying the American P POWs. And they they you know what they do a good job of like catching up considering that they left several hours prior. Yeah.
Yeah, but it had to take time for Chuck to get back I mean Brad had to get back to the the rack. Yeah. And they're also trying to beat the Vietnamese soldiers from the camp that he just blew up. That are on their way to the truck with the Americans. It's kind of a twofold thing they're fighting. Uh-huh. But they make it up there. Brad gets off the raft. He goes and intercepts the truck.
Takes out the driver and the passenger and all the all the guards that are in the truck, and then he goes and opens at the back and there's the American. Right. And so the the Americans had there's other soldiers back there, right? Mm-hmm. And they they kinda discover quickly like, oh, someone's up there to help us. Like and they're they're able to kind of fight against the captors in the back.
So and then Braddock opens the back of it and they realize there's an American and they're grateful. Mm-hmm. And they realize They know it was Chuck Norris. Chuck frickin' Norris. Right. I don't know, like you know British Willis might be the one other America they would see like, Oh my goodness. Yeah. What, what, what, what, what, what? Yeah. Everything's copacetic now. Mm-hmm. Everything's copacetic.
Maybe Paulishore. Maybe. Yeah, I mean they they look like a bunch of guys that want to wheeze the juice. Yeah. So they're all able to make it back to the raft. Right. Well Yes. As they're having that they're they're shooting at them. Like it's basically like a whole firefight as they're trying to you know to be chased and getting towards that raft. They managed to outmaneuver him. I'll say that before. But crash their truck. Yeah, they're kind of in two cars. That's right.
So they sort of crashed their truck into you know this rock that's right by the river. And so they get out, but before they leave the truck, one of them Or is it is it Braddock or was it one of the other guys that gets the grenade? Yeah. That's right. So Braddock, Braddock sends them all to the to the ri to the uh raft and he's like, I'll be right with ya. Be right behind ya Then he gets a grenade and he Pulls the pin on it and sort of wedges it. Yep.
Back yep. And like this um like little rock or boulder. And it they kinda took like this turn, right? And you know, it'll be even easier. They've come back and they realize that they probably turned down this little section. So they see they see Braddock heading toward the river, and so they turn down and they're not looking where they're going and they slam right into the back of the street. And that knocks that that grenade loose and it blows up and their truck blows up and they all die.
They just explode it. But they still have other people to worry about, right?'Cause they yeah, they get to the raft and you know, plec is there and They're on this river. They're all just firing at each other, right? And they're trying to get to Tuck's boat on the raft. Mm-hmm. Right.
And then and finally there's this w this group on this one boat that's out there in the river. There's these three these three soldiers and they fire and they Yeah, so this is raft this is that boat that Vin was talking about. That he had. This is this armored boat that's out there with some Vietnamese soldiers on it that are shooting at them. And you know, and then they ever They you know, they they get thrown off. Yeah, so they they blow the raft up.
Yep. And n nun now thankfully you know none of our guys die. You know, they just get thrown into the water. This ship bursts. Blows the raft up. Everybody gets thrown in the water. The the three people that are maining the guns on this boat, they think this is hilarious. Yes they do. No, I guess yeah, I guess they don't they don't blow up the raft just yet. They but they do they do knock everybody off the raft. Rather quickly.
Yeah. But they knock they knock everybody off the raft and knock that M sixty off of its mount. Gracias. Gracias. Gracias. Gracias. So the the raft is now defenseless. Ha ha ha.
¶ Iconic M-60 Scene And Tuck's Sacrifice
And Then comes Quite possibly the greatest? Sequence, the greatest shot of any movie ever made. It it's hilarious again, like I said, these guys are laughing. They're ha they're laughing hysterically. Yes. This movie has been serious the entire They're not gonna be laughing for long. All of a sudden they stop. The music changes. And it shows it shows the serene river. As if there wasn't a battle going on. It's just like just just smooth level water. But it starts to ripple.
Yeah. You see some tough. Yeah. Rising from this water as if on like an elevator coming up. Yes. He's standing erect. He's standing erect underwater and just rises up. From underwater here comes Chuck Norris just rising from the water. And you know, his head comes up, his shoulders come out of the water, and as it moves down his torso, you see he is holding the M sixty from the raft. We cut back to the their faces all of a sudden they're like Oh shit. And he just mows them down with this MC.
You hear you hear the the strats fire boom boom the casings are just spewing up in the air And he he just fans it back and forth along this boat. There's three of them. Thank you. And he hits all three of'em. Ha ha ha. Uh I love this scene. Oh. It might be the greatest Chuck Norris scene. It might be. It might be. It might be. But you know, they're not out of danger yet though. As glorious as Chuck Norris rising from the water with an M sixty. So they get the tuck's actual boat. Yeah. And so...
So wait, no, I guess yes, I guess the yeah, the raft was blown up. Because Tuck gets on his boat, not the raft. Oh that's right he's gonna get on this boat. Yeah. And his his first mate's there and now. First mate's been firing other people that this first mate gets shot. Yeah. So his first yeah, his first mate gets shot. There's a mounted gun on the boat. On Tuck's boat. And Tuck's in the water right now. With all the water with all the American POWs. Yes. And he sees his
First mate who's manning the gun gets shot. And so Tuck. Swims up to the boat, he climbs on. I didn't think I'd ever see MM M Emmett Walsh go move this fast. Get back there. And he gets on that gun and he starts shooting back. He he looks at you know you know Braddock, he's like, I'll see in hell. Because he realizes this might be his last. 'Cause this boat there were more than just those three guys on it. There were more people below deck. And so they come up and they start shooting at'em.
It's starting to come in. get anywhere yet because there's all this this this firefight's going on. Mm-hmm. So it sort of comes over to the toward the edge of the river. And all the guys are climbing on the it it lowers its its rope ladder. And Braddock is decided um Tucker's decided, you know what, he is gonna just you know, he is gonna cover them. He's so Tuck is gonna cover them while they climb up into the helicopter.
So they're climbing up, all the soldiers are going up there, the POWs are going up there, and and Braddock is waiting till they all get up, then he grabs on the last rung. And as they're doing that, finally like, you know. And they lifted Yeah. They lift right up. Tuck's truck. I mean on Tuck's boat. You could see that like he's yeah, like kind of killed in this and He dies. They hit the boat and the boat just explodes. Yeah.
You know, I I like I like this. I it was nice to see Tuck survive this after all this and be part of this heroic Thanks. But he dies badly. He dies the way he does. Yes, he does. Yeah, it's a very noble, valiant death. Which is even better because he probably has syphilis or chlamydia. Probably. Well that I didn't think that this would be the first time we would mention one of those two perennial diseases. Another movie might be. I think I'm I think I'll name my daughter Chlamydia. Anyway.
Well we talk about waiting maybe. I don't know. Anyway, tu uh I I I think Tuck has a proper deck in this. I think so too. I think it's Emmett Walsh is such a really good choice for this role. Mm-hmm. And he plays he plays it really, really well. To be on, like again, like most of this movie is like super serious. I think he kind of helps just give enough levity to it. Yeah. But like he's a serious character at the same time. Mm M M Walsh is a a brilliant character actor. Yes he is.
¶ Dramatic Conclusion: POW Reveal
So we'll do with other M at Walsh. Yes, we will. We can talk about him then as well. So but yeah, they were able to get up all up into the helicopter and fly away. And now you're thinking like, okay, they're just gonna maybe just what are they gonna do next? Where are they gonna fly to? Well, They're gonna fly all the way to America in a helicopter. In the helicopter. Because Chuck Norris is in it. 'Cause you know what you know you know how they refuel when Chuck Norris is on board?
He just passes in the fuel tank. And it's like putting liquid liquid schwartz in there. It'll take'em faster than Ludicrous Speed. What? They they they fly right back to Vietnam. They fly right back to center Vietnam. They're they're back Really kinda more like a kind of like their uh Supreme Court or Mm-hmm. Whatever it is, right? I love how there's you know, pitchers are Stalin and Lennon. Yeah. Like I don't know, this hearing about these non existent POWs in Vietnam.
Hãy subscribe cho kênh La La School Để không bỏ lỡ những video hấp dẫn Supposedly non existent POW. And they're adamant about how they these POWs don't exist. They're not there. This guy looks like he's about to have an aneurysm. Mm-hmm. Like he's this upset Yes. He is like the mayor In Pleasantville. There you go. Right before he turns to color. Right right as he's going from black and white to color. Maybe we should do Pleasantville sometime. It's been a while since I've seen that. Maybe.
But anyway. So all of a sudden the back doors of this courtroom open up. 'Cause I they yeah, they they land like right in front of this building. Right. They just start they run in They just come right off right off the chopper and they just walk right in. The doors you know burst open, Chuck Norris comes walking through, followed by He's carrying one of these guys. Yeah, he's carrying one of the guys. Because this guy's probably been chained up for years.
lose his legs and And then all these other POWs come up behind him, all these other or all former POWs now,'cause he rescued them. All these other soldiers come walking up behind him and And it's freeze frame. Freeze frames. John Candy. Yes. John Candy comes out of nowhere. Because realize this is actually directed by John Hughes. Yes. No no no it just it free streams. And it turns out that this that this big hearing is being held in Chicago. Ha ha ha. We got some deep dish. Some Vienna beef.
He and the guys bust into the into the hearing and it freeze frames on Chuck Norris carrying this dude and all these others behind him. Right after They said they so adamantly said these POWs don't exist. Here they areHere they are We are. And it ends. The credits roll. And we don't actually know what happens. Maybe they kill them all. Maybe. Maybe, or maybe you know, they convinced them that yes, there was a POW camp that was still around. And what happened to Vietnam at this point?
I just rescued all of these PWs. He rescued not only not just the American POWs, but he he rescued the others too. Or rather helped them to rescue themselves. Because that's how Chuck Torse goes. That's how he rolls. Yes.
¶ Episode Wrap-Up And Next Film
That's how it ends. Just like right there. Like it's always it feels like it's always more dramatic. It just ends just like that. Which I kind of like. It's free frames right there. Kind of simple like that. And then that's that's it. And like again, like you know, it's a type of movie, you know, again it's a Chuck Doris movie.
You know, it it's a little different than what we've covered, right? You know, it's a uh movie about POWs and like Viet you know, Vietnam like lingers on it and like you know for a long time Vietnam was like a Heavily influenced movies in the eighty. Yes sir. Yeah, it it's a great Chuck Norris. It really is. And it has one of the best sequences of any movie ever made. How How does he rise up out of the water like that? I don't know How does he just rise up just straight up? He wasn't crouched.
No, no, he was staying straight. It had to have been like standing on a platform or something like that that they raised up. I Well yes. Uh it's Mm-hmm. Anyway, it's it's a fun. Movie. Yeah. And it it's a pretty short movie too. So it's it you know, again. An hour and forty one minutes or so. Again, it it uh I think it fits well with our theme of doing Chuck Norse movies here. So yeah, we decided to do a second one. Me too. Me too.
And oh and the music was great in it too. We didn't mention that, but the music it it fit perfectly. We're dead. We're dead. But anyway, that uh yeah, that's missing in action. Great movie. I highly recommend watching it if you haven't seen it. I do too. And if you have seen it, I highly recommend watching it again. Do it again.'Cause it's been a while since we saw it and are you are we regretting watching it again? Nope. No not at all. And I would like to watch it again. Another time.
Yeah. Yes. Loneworth McQuaid and then watch my scene action. They are really good back to back. It wasn't good time. They are excellent back to back. Bye.
